Often finishing each other’s musical thoughts, they ignite and inspire the imagination with eclectic material ranging from classic jazz to classic rock.About Harrison IvazHarrison Ivaz’s melodic originals and singular style fuse diverse influences from Wes Montgomery & George Benson to Frank Zappa, Tera Melos and Radiohead with humor and sophistication. Born in Chicago and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Harrison has performed at festivals including Lollapalooza, Milwaukee Summerfest, Zentsura AT in Bilbao, Spain, The West Vancouver Harmony Arts Festival, Whistler Animation Festival and at leading clubs and jazz venues in Vancouver, BC. A Capilano University grad, Harrison studied guitar with renowned Canadian guitarist Bill Coon and was the guitarist in the Capilano University "A" Band under the direction of jazz icon Brad Turner. About Dave IvazGuitarist/multi-instrumentalist Dave Ivaz hails from Chicago, and now calls Vancouver, BC home. Dave has performed with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, West Van Harmony Arts Festival and at Festivals throughout the USA. He heads up Dave Ivaz Music and The Ragtime Ramblers Trad Jazz Band and continues to perform in the US and Canada. He has toured/performed with international headliners including jazz vocalist Nancy Wilson, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, the Fifth Dimension, Debbie Reynolds, Rita Moreno, Bob Hope, Ben E. King, Buddy Rich Band, Little Anthony, The Chirelles, Don Rickles and others. Dave performed at Milwaukee Summerfest 2013 and Lollapalooza 2012 with his son, guitarist/singer/songwriter Harrison Ivaz. Dave has been in the orchestra on touring Broadway Productions, and has appeared on Oprah Winfrey, CBS and other radio and TV shows. Dave is also an award-winning music educator in the BC Public School System.
