Finally someone who washes the inside AND the outside of the gosh darned dishes! I swear I was starting to think no one did that anymore with how many times I’ve gone to my MILs house and all her dang dishes are greasy as heck on the outside. Lmao. She thinks I’m too uppity for never eating off of her bowls and plates, but in reality I’m just scared of getting sick because it’s obvious that she doesn’t know how to wash dishes.

Ctfuu what how weird...food drips down the side, people touching the outside, even being in the sink with other dirty dishes. I'll have to start watching now cuz I thought washing the WHOLE dish inside/out was standard 🤔 🤯🤣
If you put the bacon in the oven at 375-400, it will bake evenly - you will want to flip it once. Turns out perfect every time. I have one grandmother from Austin and one from Alabama - I was born and raised up north, but those potatoes and onions - classic - I'm not a fan or raw tomatoes and onions, but those, along with peeled and sliced cucumbers... Not uncommon to see on the table. & yes, I saw you make this on IG and it definitely made me hungry - LOL!
You can infuse the tastiness of the onions by placing the onions on top of the fried potatoes after draining most of the oil then fry the onions, sweating them until your potatoes and onions have a more soft texture. You can splash a bit of water in the pan and put the lid on. That is how you make some bomb smothered potatoes!

Breakfast looked delicious!! Yummy! I'm not a chef nor have I ever gone to cooking school but for me, I find using a big knife like you were but with a serrated edge helps in slicing anything slippery, like tomatoes, even potatoes. I would always get hurt with the smooth edged knives. I hope that helps because you had said that you almost got cut while doing Thanksgiving dinner. Keep up the good work. Oh and rinsing your knife between cuts, really helps me with the onion cutting too.
Girl you gotta try baking your bacon in the oven! 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes for thick cut bacon and it's perfect every time, no splatter mess and you don't have to babysit it like in a pan. It changed my life for real
You wanna know what goes good together? I recently made a meal with salmon, pinto beans and salad when I tell you that is so good together it is you should try it the pinto beans I cooked were the ones in the bag not the can and I let them soak in cold water overnight before I cooked them for 6 hours.

We cook our potatoes and onions together here where I live in swva or that's how I was taught and their delicious and got to have the tomatoes with them, I use a can of diced tomatoes sometimes and mix them in my plate, gosh u got me hungry now thinking about it lol. The food looks good! I love tomatoes too for breakfast. I usually chop the tomatoes, onion and jalapeño and add salt in a skillet and use it at the end to put on top of the eggs.
One thing that is not sanitary is washing those leftover dishes with the sponge and dishcloth that was at the bottom of those dirty dishes in the sink. Every time one washes dishes they should use a fresh clean dishcloth and towel.
I like to bake up a bunch of potatoes and then when you wanna have fried potatoes and onion you just peel them diced them up put them in some butter and maybe tablespoon of oil tablespoon or so I better let them melt together cut a few potatoes throw in their seasoning about halfway through the potatoes cooking throw some onion for you got yourself a good meal there girl

Keep them refrigerated and have a sharp knife. If the knife is dull it bruises the onion causing it to give off those gases that make ur eyes hurt
