I have VERY oily hair. Apply my dry shampoo at night was a game changer combating the oil. I found using dry powder shampoo, like the Kristen Ess made such a difference with controlling the oil.
I work in a professional environment and I need to look my best every day so my hair has to look freshly wash. No throwing it up in a messy bun cause I am tired of it. Powder dry shampoo is the best option. Aerosol dry shampoo usually has lots of alcohol in it and that can be detrimental to fine hair, especially my hair.

I hate using the dry shampoo, I hate adding more chemicals on top of my hair on top of the styling products we have to use. But yes, I do find it's become a necessity.
I heard some people say you use it an hour after you shower, but then you wojldnt have any oil so what is that about?
Dry shampoo is meant to absorb the oils as they begin to coat the hair. If you apply it over top of already greasy hair, it won’t look as clean as if you apply it prior to the hair getting oily, though it will still have an effect. She is demonstrating the optimal way of applying it.
Can I use texture spray with the dry shampoo? 🙏I've never used texture spray.
This is 3 weeks late but not your mothers (a brand) has a texturizing dry shampoo which absolutely works wonders
