I spent all my Sundays morning listening to American Top 40 when I was a teenager in Cuba, but not only that, I had a lot of notebooks with all the songs' names and artists written from number 40 to number 1 every week. The way I did that was by having a big antenna on top of my house roof in order to be able to get the radio station's signals from Miami Florida. I was the best in knowledge about American Top 40 in my city and pretty sure one of the best if not the best in Cuba. Casey Kasem's voice will be forever in our hearts.
Thanks for talking with me in person and over the phone Casey and mainly for your involvement with The Peace March. Miss you. You have now reached for the star and arrived. Thanks for all your contributions.
Every Saturday morning 9am to 12 I'd listen to American Top 40 while I did my homework or study for exams . This was back in the early Seventies in Auckland , New Zealand. Casey Kasem was a very familiar voice to me . R.I.P Mr K , gone but never forgotten😊
Wow this is soo cool seeing him do Cartoon voiceovers behind the mic thanks for this rare treasure. REST IN PEACE CASEY AND REMEMBER KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND. AND KEEP REACHING FOR THE STARS, words to live life by!
Each year he would pay hommage to Jackie Wilson before Xmas and I didn't understand why. I was born in 1966 so he was before my time. When I discovered why I thought what a thoughtful man. He too was from Detroit, MI and he attended Wayne State University the same School that Diana Ross's Father Fred attended.
Casey's voice was somewhere between camp and gangster, maybe that's why it's so special.
He was definitely one in a million. Miss his voice. RIP Casey Kasem. Your will voice will live on forever in our hearts.
Perfect voice for broadcasting. His tonality was amazing to listen to.

Raymond RIP. LOLOL
Love the clips of Casey Kasem recording the voice of Shaggy and for a Scooby and Scrappy Doo series in 1983, no less.
A beatiful soul miss you.
To tell the truth- Casey Kasem was caring, aspiring, selfless, educated, understanding, kind-hearted, accountable, sincere, encouraging, mature, conscientious, affectionate, supportive, efficient, fatherly, knowledgeable, artistic, strong-willed, empathetic and modest.
Eerily, considering how crazy his wife is, it hardly seems like she was acting.

0:33.......um........this is from '83. How can it be 20 years of the show only began in 1970?!!!
landyachtfan79 He made a mistake, the show started in 1970. It certainly wasn't 1990.
What from sightings episode is this? 👽
Why don't they make new episodes?
Is Don on the phone?

I'm surprised Casey's widow is not a suspect in the cause of his passing!
