Chris's tunes and flashtunes are amazing, about 2 months ago I had an s1000rr get stolen, and the only close bike I could find to replace it was a new gen gsxr1000r. Duc's sold out, and so did the bmws. Stock for stock, the Zook had much less top end. After one of chris's tunes, even without installing a full exhaust yet, it has pulled (on fair, 3 honk type pulls) several carlengths on both an s1000rr, and an r1 with a tune and full arrow exhaust. Had I had my s1000rr, I had planned on trying to meet up with 650ib or fast lane and try to do a cruise with the fast guys they ride with. Bought a new helmet and didn't even switch the GoPro mount because of how slow the gsxr1000r felt. I KNEW ID GET GAPPED. Now I'm rethinking my words, all thanks to Chris! Zook nation let's GOOOOOOO! If you're wanting to try a mail in tune or dyno tune, DO IT! makes a world of difference
The new gen Suzukis are neutered on top through the ECU the throttle blades close to 65-66 percent open at around 10,800 rpms a flash is good for at least 10 hp on the top end.
@@nolimitgsxr5090 yes, and that top end restriction blows, right where you should be making peak power it cuts power... I'm guessing they wanted to please either noise or emissions without making a bigger converter and doing other things. My computer crashed, so no woolich option for me... But that's alright, runs great after the tune!
@@shaneflutsch2270 it's funny in Europe where the emissions are even stricter they don't have the same restrictions I copied and pasted the mapping from the euro bikes for mine. Then had it dyno tuned.

I just don’t get why people put shitty exhausts on their bike then have it tuned. Just get a proper exhaust that has been developed properly, THEN get the bike tuned.

All I know is I wish you were based in LA. Iv been running the Two Brothers Juice Box and slip on with Cat since Day One on my 08 GSXR 750. Dying to kill the cat and drain the Juice Box for a ECU flash. 17k ODM super Clean.
Don't be cheap and get a cat delete pipe and do it yourself, it's not that hard of a job,and mail the ecu to him, and get it done, I wish I was in the states, I would have sent him mine a year ago,I have a yoshi slip on but I can't delete the cat for noise reasons
Not to be in your customer's pockets but if I'm not mistaken your dyno tunes ain't cheap so why not get a muffler, good muffler, first b4 dyno'n it 🤷🏽♂️
I believe the customer don't wanna spend the money. And if Chris fit one there just to show the numbers to us will be good to see how he can get, but at the same time he's advertising something that he's no getting pay for.

I'm assuming you checked the air filter prior to starting the tuning? Wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit choked up. People love to neglect maintanance and instead buy cheap upgrades lol.
careful with assuming. Makes an ass out of u and me ;) been a couple videos where he "assumed" it had a sprint filter because of the power the bike made, then go to install V stacks, and find a stock air filter lol.
No tuner is pulling or lifting the tank to check something the owner should had done. It’s the total opposite. Customers often neglect the basics and then put the tuner in bad positions with being forced to address issues.
Those exhaust muffelers are literally for gy6 scooters. There is a second restrictor that fot in the back to reduce it to 3/4 inch at the outlet. Not meant for bigger bikes like this
I deeply regret my ebay exhaust - so loud, I'm dealing with ringing ears 5 days after my 4 hour ride (last Saturday) - didn't have my ear plugs in - mistakes were made. Really hoping it clears up, but I won't be making the same mistakes again.
Maybe the license plate needed to be bent up some more... Looks like the straps compressed the rear shock enough to drag the plate...even though the rear fender is there.
Braaaa 🤣🤣🤣 it's crazy how people spend thousands on a bike but cheap out on the parts and performance upgrades which will make the bike run alot better 🤔
but would also be more noticeable on the street to a gungho cop. I realize most people dont have to worry about this, but in some states you can get your car/bike impounded for too loud of an exhaust and catch a "defective" type ticket where you need to get the bike inspected by the highway patrol office to be legal again.
I would love to see a comparison of exhausts for the Speed Triple. I cringe every time I see one of those super tiny Racefit cans. Sure it’s eliminating the cat and has a straight through design but I can’t imagine it sound or performs much different than no muffler at all.
I bought my bike used 3 years ago..... The seller told me my ECU was flashed by you. But he was told by the previous owner he bought it from...... Is there any way I can tell..... Like do you put a sticker on all your ECU when you send them back out? And I am confident my ECU has been flashed it has really good throttle response and my fan comes on when my bike hits 200°... 2006 GSXR 750.

I'm conflicted on this one... I have a K8 GSXR1000, some years back I added a full Two Bros. Shorty exhaust that has a muffler that looks like that one ( a bit). Mine has no midpipe though. Rather than go with an ECU flash or even a Power Commander, I went with a Two Bros. Juice box setup... Knowing full well I was going to be leaving some gains on the table. The bike woke up a bit after the mods, but now I'm wondering if it really does need a flash to do it justice. I love that bike... 24K miles and counting (and I didn't ride it at all last year, a new baby cuts into my saddle time haha). So I'm now wondering if I need a different exhaust system on it in addition to a flash to completely unlock it.

Just gotta find the time. Last time I checked the valve clearances and stuff around 10K I was amazed by how tight things still were. It's a really well built engine.

6:44 You also forgot to mention states legality in this. California for example... you almost cant get away with ANY mods on your car if its "new" enough. Where as other states, like SC for example.. you may not ever get a "Defective" tickets for your exhaust (idk never been). Some people have to worry about this, and getting their car/bike impounded. I think what the guy forgot is that mufflers are also designed to reduce sound. All the straight thru pipes will probably make great power but are insanely loud. Sound reduction means performance reduction, doesn’t mean it’s a bad design, it just had different goals.
@mooremafia, I sent in my K8 ECU, stock filter, cat delete, O2 sensor Delete, exhaust valve delete, with a coffman shorty. Bike feels great but in first gear full throttle it bogs under 4k rpm. N on deceleration backfires like crazy. Any ideas???

Personally i like the newer gsxr bc the tail is alot smaller these gsxr tail just to wide but they are amazing bikes

At first I was like “the first exhaust sounds good” then he put on the second.
There's videos with cheap exhausts on a dyno that performed well. Looks like it just needed a larger exhaust.

At that mileage you need a valve clearance adjustment, new plugs and a TB sync. Basics…..

I'm in CA I have aftermarket exhausts on all my bikes and one is really, really loud and I've never had an issue nor have any of the guys I ride with.
