God I really hope they make a stand-alone Obi-Wan movie. They have to use Ewan Mcgregor before he ages so we can get a great movie with one of the greatest characters of Star Wars. He's probably the same age Obi-Wan was during his first years in Tatooine. Seeing him duel Maul for the last time would be amazing.
I agree, there is a lot of scope for a stand alone movie covering his adventures on Tatooine and beyond possibly.
A show down with Ray Park as Maul would be great assuming they'd be happy to go with the same story arc that is in the clone wars series where he survived the fall etc.
Also if they are going to do a Han Solo back story film then I'd say it's a must for the studio to go with an Obi-Wan film. If he appears in Episode VIII then I think it'll certainly happen.

Roelovsky well he IS still alive, he wasn't resurrected because he never died. As Darth Maul is a powerful Dark Side user, it makes sense that he survived. Just like Anakin survived getting completely burned, Darth Maul was filled with hatred and anger towards Obi-Wan and that hatred made him more powerful so he refused to die and tried to keep surviving, because of his desire for revenge. Only a powerful dark side user would have been able to overcome that though. There are other people in the SW lore that survived worse things. Also, we know that Darth Maul is alive and is looking for Obi-Wan so that fight is going to happen either way, and it's better to see it in a movie.

well I dont regard that clone wars bullshit legit. He got split in half from the waste and then fell down an endless pit. He was brought back purely for fan service. And he wasnt even that strong in the dark side. Whats next Mace Windu and Palpetine returning in episode 8 :D
Being yelled at by Obi-Wan Kenobi would be quite the experience. I don't know if I'd completely be processing the moment as a whole, as being in the presence of Obi-Wan Kenobi would be quite an experience in of its own.

***** - You realise almost all of the Order 66 shit happened because of Jar Jar. And the original trilogy was a long time ago while the prequels had technology which should have made the movies so much better. C-3PO isn't annoying, his the comic relief. Comics relating to after ROTJ states that Boba survived. Lightsaber and Blaster fights? That's unfair. You can't have all these jumping and flips in the originals because they didn't have all these special effects and such.
To further prove my point, when Padme was away and Jar Jar was advocated for her spot, he chose for Palpatine to become Chancellor and to have full control over the Senate. He basically just created the Empire.
Lets hope we will see him in a origin movie, and with darth maul in it. That would be awesome.
