Grey skies will never stop Rachel and Wills! 😂 That's an Incredible water way! Wow!😮 Boating through the canals and tunnel would be awesome for us to do. That's Definitely a pretty long stick..lol...but seriously Awesome. Ouuu...another amazing castle! Love it! Terrific tour and history! And yes, the staircase looks like Christmas. Another Excellent tour and we always appreciate the history lessons. We're always fascinated by your vlogs, guys! Thank you and we hope you're both having a Wonderful Weekend. Can't wait for your Halloween specials!👍
Ah thank you. Those Telford Aqueducts are something else! They still stand today, so quite the feat of engineering! This one isn't as scary as Pontcysyllte though. It was nice to see an Edward castle lived in as you have to imagine in the ruined castles, although I think we do prefer a ruin. Cheers for watching. We're off out all day today with an American couple who are subs and are visiting! Watch the rain fall!!! Cheers 🍻
Lovely vlog, been to the aqueduct once before, it was stunning, not really been to Chirk itself though and as newly National Trust members, Chirk Castle is on the to do list. Great video as always, all the best, Webby 👍
Hey guys, We were trying to think why the aqueduct looked familiar, then we remembered walking to it from the lion quays hotel a few years back. Lovely walk along the tow path. Some brilliant drone shots Wills, very brave! 🙌. We think we have visited the castle years back too, it was the gardens and the 'lady's hats' that brought it all back!😂. The castle is gorgeous, so well maintained, and really interesting to see how the other half lived. We agree though, we prefer ruin too! 😊🏰. Free entry! Bonus 👍. And paid for that delicious Sunday dinner, nice treat! 😋. You gotta love a postcard grand day out in Wales 🤗. Can't wait to meet up at the weekend guys, cheers and see you soon🍻. Shell and Pete 😊👊
Ah thanks guys and so cool's you have visited too! We love a canal walk, just wish we had more time to enjoy walks. The castle was lovely but yep, ruins all the way! Sunday lunch was epic! Can't wait to meet your two, we feel like we know you already!!! Cheers 🍻
That aqueduct is cool! The engineering behind it is incredible, and the view from up there must be stunning. I love how much history you include in your videos-it makes the places come to life, especially learning about Thomas Middleton and the castle's history. those gardens are stunning! 🌸 The greenery and topiary are incredible, and they look so peaceful.Your videos just keep getting better! Loved the balance of history, humor, and handy tips today. Keep up the great work! Great product demo for the MagStand-such a helpful gadget for filming on the go!
It's amazing isn't it to think at the turn of the century they could construct like this with no precision laser cutting, no computers! And the things are still standing!! We love a bit of history too. We like to take the parts that amuse or fascinate us! The Mag Stand is great. I can't believe how light it is as well! That magnet is impressively strong too. We'll be using that a lot. Cheers for watching 🍻
Hello, my dear Rach and Wills! As always it's a pleasure to watch you! You always make me discover something beautiful by telling everything in a fun and pleasant way. You are amazing! I didn't know Chirk! It was a very pleasant discovery. It must be nice to cross a border by passing through an aqueduct! It always gives me a special emotion to cross a border, what about you? Oh, the aqueduct is very impressive and the Castle is beautiful, with its gardens. But the village is also beautiful. Very typical and characteristic and full of little shops and cafes. And it really seems like you had a great lunch! So, my friends, I really thank you for these peaceful moments spent in your company. You know that, with the difficult and painful period that I am living, how precious they are... I hug you tightly, I leave you my like as always and see you soon. Take care! Renata
Thanks for watching Renata. We too love crossing borders, but we cross the English one so often, it doesn't feel special!! Although I guess in a narrow boat it might. We're very lucky in wales to have castles everywhere. We'd never visited this one before and it was nice to see one from Edward 1st times restored. Morning Barbara! Some cracking drone shots there! I do love a good aqueduct. Legin it sounds crazy! Great looking stand. Now thats a gate of the week, well done Wrexham brothers. Chirk is our regular meet-up place with some relatives and definitely well worth a visit. Highly recommend the Poachers Cottage for lunch - next to the canal with a large outside area. Impressed with Will's pole...! Warm wishes from Millionaire Paul 👋
A lovely day out, the castle was great, and free entry makes it even better! I'm a loyal National Trust member and since I can use my Australian membership in the UK, I get my money's worth when I visit!

Oh one of my 'things I want to do' is walk one of those aqueducts. They have intrigued me since childhood. And you have one 30 minutes away - envious. The views were amazing Wills. That 'stick/stand' looks great. Food for thought. Yaw dropping gorgeous gate. Stunning castle- and great cycle lane in the hall 🤣🤣! The old part was fabulous and beautifully kept. Glad you added some spooky stuff. Great walk down the hill. Oh a meal like that....drool! Enjoyed the peek into the church. The tree @10:31 looks like what we called the Monkey Tree.
