He’s got that single->lace technique down pat. Super slick

Watch his match against Vito Arujau during the 2023 US Open. Desanto was crushed in a little under 1 minute

I totally enjoy all y'all's content. Definitely #1 for all things wrestling. Really appreciate y'all's work.

Never mind the leg lace, which runs up the score; Alirez had his number on getting to the legs and finishing, which are two big chores with Desanto. I think he would have kept dominating this match, even if he only got one lace turn, and Desanto got a take down or two by the end. He would have gotten majored, or nearly so. Slick sh$%.

Love seeing Desanto lose, tries to intimidate people. But the good guys don't fall for his crap.

I agree. Ever since he pulled that crap at nationals by trying to do a kimura, and injure his opponent, I've rooted against him. Just a POS all around that still hasn't grown up.

Weight classes exist for a reason. Going from 133 pounds to wrestling at about 143 pounds is going to make a difference.

He is bumping up a weight class, I’m not exactly surprised here. I know he is insane at 133 but going to wrestle at around 143 pounds is going to be more difficult.

Anytime I see desanto lose I smile just remembering all the times he taunted and pushed down on his opponents in college he was an arrogant prick

Freestyle sucks. Those leg-lace turns, which can be done in a series, should be just one point.

Yeah I think folkstyle is a lot better but that is thé international style for Worlds so..

Totally agree. It’s a combat sport but leg laces and gut wrenches looks like what I would do too my sister goofing off, they may as well count noogies and dirty socks in the face too, I did that to my sister as well. But it’s international, it’s their rules so what’s a guy to do

DeSanto is a dirty wrestler, always has been. Never respected his temperament.
