I think this was from the 1957's at Jalandhar Music Festival & has featured in one of the albums of Music Today. I had the cassette & was looking out for a cd after it worn out but found it to be not in circulation any more. Thanks for this magnificent recording & also please listen to the " Saath " provided by Purushottam Kapila.... Simply spellbinding !!!
Yes. It is Harivallabh recording. I have this cassette. Purshottam Kapila vocal support. The cover note says that Ustads Salamat Ali and Nazakat Ali were in attendance.
thanks Nagesh I think if possible date / year of Mahedil should be publish for keeping of history of Sangeet . I supposed by voice of Khan Sab that this recording is of HIS middle age and that came true
Tempo of this audio fake ..its speed had been boosted too much. It's clearly evident. Fans of bheemsen Joshi can reject this opinion, but you have to realise the fact that the fast at which this audio is playing is not real it's fabricated..so don't boast too much.

It is not rocket science. I can hear that , I don't think that my ears are faulty. . and I think u are the coming rasool pookkutty of India.. hope u will get an Oscar for sounds..

If you raise a track's tempo the pitch also increases however here it hasn't. I do have recordings where you can hear Panditji's taans at the same speed ! Coming back to your last sentence. You cannot compare ustad bade gulam ali and Panditji. They were different eras altogether. I pity your perspective on how you look towards music ! Get a life 🙏
