Thank you so much for posting this video. I have seen plastic waste everywhere including in the ocean. I usually pick up the plastic waste where ever I go and put them in the trash cans. I have been doing it every morning in Vietnam right now. I totally agree that we need to eliminate the use of single-use plastic, especially bottled water. Every government needs to have a policy to address the plastic waste problem together and most importantly with strong enforcement. People will continue to throw plastic waste unless they are forced to pay to clean up. Most people value convenience over extra effort to use reusable bottles and plates/utensils. We must do our part before our lakes, oceans become so polluted.
Grade 2B Students from invento the Uzbek International School have been learning about waste management and these are the things they plan to do to help the environment. 1. Doniyor- When I grow up I want to make a giant ship that has a giant net that is 240meters long so that I could catch all of the trash every kilometre. 2. Abdubosit- We need to clean and take out plastics from the ocean, sea, rivers and lakes. 3. Alikhan- We need to clean the Earth. 4. Saliha- Reduce the use of plastic and try to recycle it.
As she said, there are more than 80% of marine liters are plastics. 49+27+6=82% which is more than 80%. The other 18% are other liters that are not plastic, she is talking about plastic waste only.

Cleaning the environment as well as the oceans must be adopt in schools so that the children will be responsible in proper disposable of their trash!
Every nation must work hand in hand in cleaning the ocean!
This task must be done with urgency to save marine lives n people as well!
I'm going to show this video to my Passengers on our Ship.
