You could make the top a sculpted lily pad for the turtle and frog. The base of the squirrel with the finger streaks could be turned into a tree bark. Froggie needs a crown. Maybe it could go on his knee, and he could ask for free kisses. You know he's a scoundrel. The coral under the turtle is beautiful. You are really evolving with that technique. It's so fun to have an artist explain their art.
For the "Hey there" frog, making an inner tube type pool float would be easier than a lounge chair. I love your reactions to the openings. Have a very Happy Birthday!
I know they can’t be switched because of the shape but the squirrel would be so cute with the sweater/froggy base, then the squirrel base on the scraped flowers, then the flower base with the froggy. The turtle one is so precious 😭💕
All the small figurines would make insanely cute drawer pulls! I'd love a set of squirrels on my dresser instead of boring white knobs! They'd also be cute to attach to hooks for key holders or wall hooks.
I absolutely adore the turtle one! You put so much effort into the corals, and the way the colors all came out is perfect. I would legit buy that one if I had the chance.
The first tip you used would look better as a leaves rather than a border. In cake decorating I myself have never used it as a border, just leaves. But I do like it with the turtle! He's so cute! Reminds me of a turtle I had when a child....his name was Murphy! ❤
I like the Turtle, Butterfly and the Moss is gorgeous. The frog needs his own he is a statement piece and can stand alone. Those flowers whatever you do with those will work they are beautiful. The rainbow can stand alone also. All of them were nice.
I love how you make us feel like we're right there in the studio with you! Like we've been friends forever. Thank you for your wholesome, inspiring content. Happy birthday!! 💛
Happy birthday 🎉. 2 ideas for the frog. 1 sculpt a Tom Sawyer like raft for him to ride. 2 paint the jar top like a lilly pad. Sculp an edge to look like the turned up edge of the leaf.
At one point you had a macaroon design. If that is the right size you could use that as a cake topper as well. All those pastel colors would work well. I love your joy in the process of experimenting . Thanks for taking us along on the journey.
Love the squirrel and mushroom one, if it were more natural nature colours like the moss was greens, and browns and the sides of the vessel was made to look like bark or a log. LOVE the concept, so cute!❤ 🍄
Happy Birthday! I think they are darling. I love turtle and all of the texture. The frog has so much personality. The techniques used to achieve all were so fun to watch. Keep going girl!
I think the texture on the base of the frog pot, which you described as looking like leaves, looks like cable knit! You could use that roller to make a knitted jumper
I like how these turned out way more than I was expecting too when you started. The squirrel and mushies is my favorite out of the batch, but each of them has a neat technique or two used that would be cool to see in future projects.
Happy birthdayyy!! Your reaction to the frog mold reveal was way too funny 🤣 “draw me like one of your French frogs” I’m cackling. And the turtle 🥹 so stinkin cute
Really enjoying your experiments and how positive and kind to yourself you are when you feel its not going right. I hope to see more like this because learning is such an important thing to do ❤
Happy Birthday!! I think the corals and moss texture experiments are my favorites. Although I really could see the potential for sunset/ sunrise themed pieces using a dyed clay base with the sort of guache/ watercolor technique you applied on top that was used on the base of the rainbow cake/ trinket box. Thanks for taking us along for the experimenting :)
Yay for October birthday's!🎉 Happy birthday 🎂 mine is Halloween 🎃 I love the moss texture so much. 💗 it looks so good! For the frog, you could maybe make the lid look like a Lily pad? The little turtle 🐢 😍 and Corals 🪸 are so cool! Can't wait to see what else you use them for 😊
I love how the corals and the moss came out! They're very fun textures. The little mushrooms, turtle, and squirrels are wonderful finds for your stuff!
Happy birthday! I love the painterly one and I hope you use the little turtle again. He is so cute. These were so fun and I can’t wait to see what you do with coral sculpture.
Happy birthday! These are so cute! The frog one keeps bringing back memories of a garden ornament of a frog reclining on a lily pad in exactly that pose that sat outside my parents’ back door for years. Our dapper fellow had a hat and scarf, though. lol.
YAY! Happy Bitrhday. 🎉🎂 Now onto the art, love the texture ‘painting’ you did, the flowers rock, they need no more and would be stunning on a jug or vase. Next, the dimensional work is so rich looking, I would love to see the leaf and star isolated. The moss needs to be under more mushrooms and squirrels or any woodland critter. Last your joy on finding these little friends is overwhelming. Cheers from the Midwest USA. 💜
If you don't LOVE these pieces I can't wait to see you try this method again with a combination that just sings in your style. These look fantastic I'm in love!!! Happy Birthday!!! I really love that you share your process ❤️
I so enjoy watching and listening to you! I was able to run a ceramic shop for 15 years which provided vocational jobs for developmentally disabled adults. It was a wonderful experience and I miss playing with the clay. I learned so much those years. Keep up the good work and experimenting!!!! Another great video! Bravo!
I really liked this one. I love that you’re not so hard on yourself or setting such high goals and expectations. Also, it’s ok to hate something you made. You can say, “I really hate these” and totally not get arrested.
the orange clay under the rainbow with the blue "watercolor" slip on top is genuinely so gorgeous!! you should definitely play around with that technique again
Oh my gosh! The frog!!! I used back in high school in my ceramic class. I feel like there were three of them. One was on their side. How exciting it is to watch what you create. 🐸 💚
Wow since you mentioned it, they really look like they were made by six different artists- like it was weird cake themed trinket box day and all the materials you used were on the table. how wonderful that you were able to capture such a wide range of visual styles using the same base and medium!
Happy Happy Birthday 🎉🎊🎉🎊❤ they are adorable. My favorites are the frog and the turtle . They look so cute the Butterfly looks so abstract like she landed in a little flower bed.
The cakes remind me of those mobile covers that are stacked with plastic lollies. I love the 'icing' styles, especially the moss and the 'knit' pattern.
Belated Happy Birthday wishes. Wishing you many, many, many more and all good things to boot. Science has proved that having birthdays is good for you. The more of them you have the longer you live. Thanks again for all you do.
I love them all. My favorites are the Squirrel...the moss is gorgeous. The Butterfly...stunning pallete flowers. Of course the Frog...so Adorable. Oh that Turtle...the coral is Fantastic
I loved the colors, the one with the squirrel looked like corals. I really liked when you used the pallet knife to make the flowers that is something I’d love to see again
Keep dreaming and growing. I'm glad that you are still finding the time to just follow your artist's heart. It seems like you learn so much with each experiment. It's lovely to watch!
When you revealed the little trinket box originally my mind raan with a million ideas for it. I am so glad you are experimenting with it! Thanks for sharing!
I would love to see you slice in half some of those little figurines and applied to a maybe a plate or even on some trinket boxes in a relief fashion ! Absolutely love your work and channel. Thanks for all your content !
Happy birthday Shelby. I do love the squirrel and the little turtle. Would love to see a mini octopus turn up and see you do something similar to what you did with the turtle. The froggy was adorable too.
Love the turtle box! Thanks for sharing taking chances and playing, so important for an artist! I believe smaller cake decoration tips exist and they might do better for more decorative work. ❤
Happy Birthday, Shelby! I love when you explore your creativity - and you now have developed more ideas to try with the colored slip. Fabulous! Love the turtle, heck I love all of them:)
I would like the "painterly slip pot" even more if you put the lid on and then painted the lid and bottom together so the colors matched across the seam. And still "paint" the inside. They are all so cute. I really liked the moss as well. That turned out so great.
These are SO FUNKY the butterfly one came out stunning. And I love that you really just played with materials and textures and had fun with them !! That's always my favorite part about any kind of art. Just kinda winging it to see what happens 🤷♀️🎉 and happy birthday !!
I love this active demonstration of your artistic process. I work with young ones and try to teach becoming "good" at something is practice. Love "vision without expectation" I'm adding it to my mantras.❤
When I was little my grandma had a ceramic poodle, it was light blue, that had a similar texture as you made with the squirrel. I loved the texture of it although I did pick a lot of it off. What a fun experiment with your cake toppers! I think I like the turtle and squirrel best.
Those are adorable. I had two turtles and a frog like that when a teenager. I think they were passed along to my oldest grand daughter years ago.i love the colours you chose.
They are so fun and have tons of potential. I’m sure it would be super easy to find a way you would love them. My fave is the squirrel and mushrooms and the butterfly although each need a little modification.
I loved each one of those boxes. It looked like you had a fun time experimenting! Sometimes that’s that it’s about, trying something new for the fun of it and learning from it. The moss was by far my favorite. I feel like you could use that technique again and make it work better for you. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
“Maybe they’re holding each other in an embrace of lo”-THUNK! I laughed so hard! Enjoy your birthday and have fun!
I saw your comment before it got to that point in the video, knew it was coming, and still cackled. The timing and sound were just perfect!
My favourite part 😂
You could make the top a sculpted lily pad for the turtle and frog. The base of the squirrel with the finger streaks could be turned into a tree bark. Froggie needs a crown. How is she just one of the coolest human beings on this planet, just absolute sunshine 🩷🌞 and peacefulness
✌️🌿🍄🌱

I know they can’t be switched because of the shape but the squirrel would be so cute with the sweater/froggy base, then the squirrel base on the scraped flowers, then the flower base with the froggy.
The turtle one is so precious 😭💕
There’s huge potential in those techniques, I love the random combinations and the corals and moss is beautiful
The squirrel and mushroom one is amazing! Especially with the texture moss and grass
Love when you get squirrels in the mystery moulds!! I foster orphan squirrels and they hold a very special place in my heart! 🐿
Yay, squirrels!
The seaturtle is adorable! I'm so impressed with the coral! I'd love to have that as a little jewelry box
The first tip you used would look better as a leaves rather than a border. In cake decorating I myself have never used it as a border, just leaves. But I do like it with the turtle! He's so cute! Reminds me of a turtle I had when a child....his name was Murphy! ❤
You could make the squirrels into wedding cake toppers!!!! I loved this so cute!
my favorite is the turtle one. You did a fabulous job on the coral. And the piping looks like the turtle is in the middle of a wave.
I like the Turtle, Butterfly and the Moss is gorgeous. The frog needs his own he is a statement piece and can stand alone. Those flowers whatever you do with those will work they are beautiful. The rainbow can stand alone also. All of them were nice.
That turtle is too precious! The finished product is adorable. Really lucky finds.
The turtle one is my favorite. Its so cute!!! I also really like the simple one that was also painted inside.
I LOVED the squirrel 🐿️ and mushroom 🍄 one best. Fantastic job🎉 Happy birthday 🎂
HAPPPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!❤🎉
I love how you make us feel like we're right there in the studio with you! Like we've been friends forever. Thank you for your wholesome, inspiring content. Happy birthday!! 💛
It’s good to experiment. Good ideas come from that. You’re also brave to do it on camera. 😀😀😀😀😀😀
oh my gosh, your cooing when you open up the cute molds is so precious. I can feel the serotonin flowing in the first 6 mins of this video. 💕
Happy birthday 🎉.

The flower texture has so much potential! It’s gorgeous!

How fun to watch you opening the molds and let us watch you create! You are so talented! 🐸🐢🦋🐿

LOVE how you created the moss. The flower designs were very pretty. Also loved the slip jar. Job well done!
Happy happy birthday lovely lady. You make me smile every Friday so I wish you all the happiness 💗❤
Happy birthday! These are so cute! The frog one keeps bringing back memories of a garden ornament of a frog reclining on a lily pad in exactly that pose that sat outside my parents’ back door for years. Our dapper fellow had a hat and scarf, though. lol.
love the turtle & coral patterns, and also the flowers with the flat paint knife, and the moss!
this is a great collection for your birthday! I especially love the turtle and frog 😍
I’m an October baby too! Happy birthday, Shelby. You’re a gift to us.

how wonderful that you were able to capture such a wide range of visual styles using the same base and medium!
You could carve the top to look like lily pad for the frog.
The one without something on top, is really pretty. It has a watercolor affect! I loved them all!
Happy birthday! I love how much fun you had with them. And I appreciate that you are always learning and share your journey as an artist with us. ❤
Happy Birthday Shelby for when your birthday passes in this month!
Birthday month videos! YAY!
It's so important to experiment with colours and techniques. It looks like you had a blast, and so many elements are really pretty and cool ✨
Happy Birthday, Shelby! This video idea was so fun and inventive. Loved it!

So beautiful. I loved how you've just played and experimented without expectation.
I loved the colors, the one with the squirrel looked like corals. I really liked when you used the pallet knife to make the flowers that is something I’d love to see again
I am all about the squirrel on the moss with the mushrooms. Adorable! ❤

That lounging frog should go with the lily pad. Super duper cute!
I really enjoy that you were able to play and experiment! The corals and mosses, especially, are so cool!
That squirrel and mushrooms and moss is SO CUTE! 🥰😍🤩
Oh - also, don't give up on the piping method. It takes practice, but it can work beautifully! Keep going, gather up all them skills!
Happy Birthday, Shelby! I love when you explore your creativity - and you now have developed more ideas to try with the colored slip. Fabulous! Love the turtle, heck I love all of them:)
this is the kind of thing I'll be into. they all so cute. The squirrel and turtle one are lovely.
I would like the "painterly slip pot" even more if you put the lid on and then painted the lid and bottom together so the colors matched across the seam. And still "paint" the inside.
They are all so cute. I really liked the moss as well. That turned out so great.
I love the colours! The bold on top and more muted on the rest makes the figures really pop.
These are SO FUNKY the butterfly one came out stunning. And I love that you really just played with materials and textures and had fun with them !! That's always my favorite part about any kind of art. Just kinda winging it to see what happens 🤷♀️🎉 and happy birthday !!
I'm picturing that mossy texture with some mushies in a little trinket or jewelry tray. I love how these turned out
Happy Birthday!! They’re so charming not your usual vibrancy but adorable all the same! Bravo!!
I love this active demonstration of your artistic process. I work with young ones and try to teach becoming "good" at something is practice. Love "vision without expectation" I'm adding it to my mantras.❤
Happy Birthday month!
I loved the turtle one the most! But, I also loved the texture on the top of the squirrel and mushroom cake.
When I was little my grandma had a ceramic poodle, it was light blue, that had a similar texture as you made with the squirrel. I loved the texture of it although I did pick a lot of it off. What a fun experiment with your cake toppers! I think I like the turtle and squirrel best.
I think the Turtle one looks like a really sweet little cake and it's my favourite.
Always a joy to watch what you do with the unusual moulds you uncover
I recommend a coupler for the piping bags that way you can switch out the tips leaving both hands free to squeeze the bag giving easier control.
I loved each one of those boxes. It looked like you had a fun time experimenting! Sometimes that’s that it’s about, trying something new for the fun of it and learning from it. The moss was by far my favorite. I feel like you could use that technique again and make it work better for you. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
