These are wonderful. Thank you, Katrina. I love that A Sub has its own site now. To be fair to A Sub, cracking is not caused by the paper. It is the spray, type, and temp. Do not spray or try to dry in direct sun. Do not mix 2 brands of spray. Do not spray a heavy coat or 3 heavy coats. Light sprays like Katrina did. Don't waste sublimation mugs. Waterslides can be done on any mugs, glass, or hard surface.
I love the ASub sublimation paper. I have never tried the waterslide paper and that sheen is amazing so l will definitely have to give it a try. Thank you for sharing! Loved the tutorial. 👍
These look so good! I've never heard of gold toned waterside, will have to give the A-sub line a good-look. Thank you for sharing info & your skill & technique!
You can use decal solution to get rid of the box around your decal. It works great. I use the mr mark products and once applied,it dissolves that excess film around your decal perfectly and it looks like it was painted on basically. The products are called mr mark setter and they make another solution called softer. It's a must to use those products.
Yes baking them on is the sealing processing. You don’t apply anything else over them but if want, you can put epoxy over them. Waterslide once applied does not come off
Yes you absolutely can it has to be the white waterslide so the image can show. The transparent one won’t show the color. But I have shown it. You can put a waterslide on anything.
I loved your video. TFS. The decals came out so pretty. I followed your link but I couldn't figure out which one was the golden paper. Which one is it?
Thank you. I would still wash it by hand, I put mines in the dishwasher and it messed up a little. Because of all the hot water and steam I would say no
Oh you can apply a waterslide to pretty much anything. I have other waterslide videos. It’s great if something can’t be sublimated or if you don’t have a press or oven.
Very nice I 😍😍😍😍them. Try mirroring the water slide I think it would be easier. Thank you, you always show us new items to try I truly appreciate it!😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank for your response. You are sharing a wealth of knowledge. I’m new to the Cricut crafting. Your channel is everything! For your strip flick Pro htv do you use Siser brand? Is the textured the one you use for your sweat suits and T’s?
Hi x I would like a bit of advice please everything u do is amazing you do so many great projects it inspires me however I bought loads of things to do and I think I’m a bit overwhelmed I try one thing then another I need a bit of direction you are my go to for projects and your style and talent just wants to ask your advice I hope u don’t mind any guidance would help me in my journey I got loads of ideas 💡

I have a video specially for all my mugs and tumblers and I tell where I get them all from. But the black mugs are dollar tree. I believe I stated that in the video
Great tutorial and I love how show the struggle. It is REAL with waterslide! Do you know if the sheen holds up under epoxy? I've tried holo laminate and it loses a lot of the it's effect when epoxied over. Thanks!
This is my first time looking at your channel and now I am a subscriber. You explain things very well. Will the water slide come off over time? I am new to crafting and I will be adding this into my crafting collection
So glad I stumbled upon your channel. Love all the information that you give out and I’m definitely interested in starting my business with T-shirt and sweatshirts. I will be continuing to watch to get my business started. Again thank you so much and is the shirt you wearing in this video available on your website? It’s very beautiful!
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 I turned a Pic of my nephew in2 a png using canva. I found a Facebook Pic of him I liked & saved the Pic to my computer, then I went to canva & went to uploads, & found the folder i saved the Pic in. Clicked the Pic & u will see the Pic uploading to canva. Take the Pic which is now showing on canva then I just put it on a blank template & clicked the Pic on the blank template to select it, & go up to effects, & click & that will open a section on the side where u can choose different effects or erase background. Click erase background, Pic will buffer & background will disappear. If now other adjustments are needed then click the download arrow on the rite top corner of canva & it will suggest the best way to download as . Make sure u select PNG & TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND, then hit download again & u will see the new Pic downloaded & its now a PNG. Nice design alternatives to sublimation. You can adjust length/thickness to registration marks in Silhouette by moving slider arrow to the left.
Just ordered mine!!! I didn’t even watch the video first lol I just knew I was gonna want it!! Thank you in advance Queen!!!

Looks great. Do you or should they be sealed after applying. How does the water slide stay on when washing
Yes baking them on is the sealing processing. You don’t apply anything else over them but if want, you can put epoxy over them. Waterslide once applied does not come off
Hey Ms Katrina! You stay up on game
I try
Love it❤
I wonder if you added an offset to "Little Miss Hot Chocolate" design instead of printing as a square how it would look against black mug.
Thanks for sharing this. i didn;t know A-sub had waterslide paper.
It’s koala and Asub
Beautiful Thanks Katrina…….I placed my order 😍 can’t wait to get my paper
Awesome. You will love it!
I like them
Thank you

Your videos are so amazing, also you have an amazing spirit. I wanted to know if you can use water slide on black mugs?
Yes you absolutely can it has to be the white waterslide so the image can show. The transparent one won’t show the color. But I have shown it. You can put a waterslide on anything.
Thank you so much for all of your knowledge
I loved your video. TFS. The decals came out so pretty. I followed your link but I couldn't figure out which one was the golden paper. Which one is it?
It’s under transfer paper and you will see all the waterslide paper. White and golden. I’m gonna add instructions to the link.
Very nice!
Just came across this video and loved it. One question, once the image is baked is it then dishwasher proof.
Thank you. I would still wash it by hand, I put mines in the dishwasher and it messed up a little. Because of all the hot water and steam I would say no
Never tried water slide paper sounds like a good adventure
Oh you can apply a waterslide to pretty much anything. I have other waterslide videos. It’s great if something can’t be sublimated or if you don’t have a press or oven.
Is there a way to use clear decal on a dark surface?
What kind of mugs are you using in this video ? Are the Dollar Tree mugs ?
Can you use water slide on metal? What do you use to seal it? Thank you
Very nice I 😍😍😍😍them. Try mirroring the water slide I think it would be easier. Thank you, you always show us new items to try I truly appreciate it!😍😍😍😍😍😍
I do sometimes but because of the golden paper I didn’t know if it would be on both sides. I tried it and it looked weird.

Thank you so much! It's so great to see this step by step. One question, where you got those mugs from?
I have a video specially for all my mugs and tumblers and I tell where I get them all from. But the black mugs are dollar tree. I believe I stated that in the video
Great tutorial. How long should I expect my decal to last on the mug if hand wash?
I never had that question. They should be permanent if properly taken cared of
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 Ok thank you. I'm eager to try anyways.
Did you preheat that little oven? I would think it would take it several minutes to get up to 400 Fahrenheit.
Yes always preheat everything it doesn’t take long at all
Is there a curing period?
Can you use the water slide on ceramic tiles?
Yes I have seen it done.
Great tutorial and I love how show the struggle. It is REAL with waterslide! Do you know if the sheen holds up under epoxy? I've tried holo laminate and it loses a lot of the it's effect when epoxied over. Thanks!
I haven’t epoxied over this waterslide yet
This is my first time looking at your channel and now I am a subscriber. You explain things very well. Will the water slide come off over time? I am new to crafting and I will be adding this into my crafting collection
Waterslide don’t typically come off. Just don’t put them in the dishwasher unless they sealed with something dishwasher safe.
If baking how long and at what degree? Does it stay on after washing?
I bake for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
Hi! Love your videos… what kind of printer do you use?
Epson workforce 7710

Hi loved this paper. Great video. Do you epoxy your mugs when you use a precise cut for the waterslide
I epoxy my wood grain mugs because I use acrylic paint and decal. If it’s just a decal no
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 thanks much
Did i miss it . Do you have to seal these with anything after putting them on a cup or tumbler?
You bake them on or let dry for a few hours. But you can apply epoxy over them.
Hi when you say link below, where is that?
Where do you get the tall white mug
Heat press nation
Can you help me out with tutorial on turning a picture photo into a png please
you have to remove the background in photoshop or in Canva easiest ways. Can't really help online there are youtube videos for that

Katrina, does water slide wash off like vinyl can at times, or is it permanent like sublimation?
Waterslide is permanent cannot wash off
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 Thank you!
Hey! What’s the website to purchase the fonts/images?
link down below creative fabrica
Are water slide decals microwave safe?
I only had wash them. They could come off with the heat and pressure
Hey girl
What is the name of the paper
Koala golden paler to be exact
How are these washed? (Hand wash only?)
Are they microwave safe?
Yes They are
Such a shame it seems like the gold isn't available in the UK 😪
Sorry to hear that
Can you list the website
the link is down below in description box that will take you right there
Patients. First time seeing this paper and method.
Patients for sure but I should have used my turner much easier. I show a full wrap on a tumbler using the turner. In another video.
