The only time I gave up on my reading was the very first time I tried reading from Genesis to Revelation. I put it down at 1 Chronicles and it took me years to attempt to read the whole Bible again. I’ve now lost count of how many times I’ve read it. It’s more interesting when I look at the maps in the book my husband bought me even though I still can’t figure it out. Lol The ones that get me now is the division of the land with the repetitive word suburbs. I start mispronouncing it after so many times. Lol
@Daivd Guzik..... 17:43....i have often considered that the "land" as compared to the "land" in the Old Testament is the "soil of our hearts/souls/being"...i have almost always considered the "land" our hearts... and that we must apply the blood-bought authority of Jesus Christ to conquer our "hearts/land/soil"....that we must be conquered by Jesus Christ in order to have the land conquered...not that we "conquer" Jesus Christ. also, i feel that my understanding comes from rhema and stems from the teachings and paradoxes that Jesus Christ His Kingdoms and authority...and of course, the rest of the New Testament as well...the "land" is where His Spirit should live nowadays what do you think about this?
Pastor Lance replies - Great question! One that comes up a lot. It's possible that some of the genetic material that produced the giants before the flood was passed to one of Noah's son's wives. It was recessive and took a while to re-emerge in later generations. Maybe. :-) It's also possible that there was intentional selective breeding that went on in some populations to produce large people. Remember that in that time of history, it was all about the size of people that determined the outcome of battles.
When the tribe of Manasseh split in half on each side of Jordan, did they end up acting as 2 separate tribes? I know they were still counted as 1 tribe, but did they act like one tribe or 2?

Pastor Guzik, forgive me if you’ve answered this somewhere before, but how is it that there was a remnant of giants?

Pastor Lance replies - Just one still. The Jordan isn't really all that hard a barrier to cross. The bonds of blood outweighed geography.
Do you think that's why the Isrealites today they are still fighting for their land. Because they didn't conquer them in those days?
Pastor Lance replies - Israel has to resist forces animated by satan who wants to destroy Israel.
