What I meant, was that James pioneered HOW people play the ukulele.(and that's a good thing for all of us) He was one of, if not the very first people to play the ukulele like that, specifically billy jean with 4(5 if you count singing) melodys at the same time, and does it in ways Michael jackson couldn't have imagined. Regardless he revolutionized the ukulele, and you took that greatness(which is fine), and made it even better. But I still feel James still deserves some credit for developing this style of ukulele on a global scale. I checked out your link, and it sounds great! I have actually seen that video recently and love your playing! keep it up man, the world needs more players like you. :)

No but some kids have to scratch at the bottom to get up there and some kids get a better start with parents with money or just really good at what ever talent the kid can learn from a parent ( music or sports) Also parents take a shit load of time getting kids like this to be good. Not every parent does that, I wish I had that and I wish I had the experience to teach my kids. But I don't doesn't mean you can't achieve things in life. So don't be sad. Just do your best with what u have.
