- Hello and welcome to a new episode, In this week's episode we jump forward to this location instead of the last weeks ending. This particular venture needed to be pushed forward as its a special one! I hope you don't mind to much but i'm sure you will understand the choice i made haha, So me and colin meet up at a Permission based vist 3 hour drive to Essex, The location was okay but not worthy of the 3 looong hour drive, So instead we go and check out another area quite close to us! And what a place it was. The saving grace of the day in my opinion! Don't take my word for it sit back put ya janits up and watch this awesome location unfold! "Full of Ford P**n". I just do not understand how people in the UK can just throw cars away like they do. Especially the NIssan and Subaru you featured in this episode, even the Mustang, those and others you've shown would be worth an absolute fortune here in Australia, and be driven and appreciated like they should be.
Maybe I should do a short video showing you what people drive here just in my neighboudhood. Might inspire you to come do some videos in Melbourne. :) Keep up the good work.

That 77' Renault has only 26330 miles on the clock! Not even run in!
Last MOT Oct 2008, Failed and never fixed and put back through. New owner Jan 2009. Great Reg on it for sure, that alone is worth a few quid.

Love the Pajero and Jeep, would snap them up if I could. Pajero 84K miles at May 09.
Jeep last V5 change was Apr 2012. Mot ran out Dec 2015. 138K on the clock.
Crying shame with those motors sat dying like that, Scubydoo and Skyline 😭
Back as a teenager, Mum used to take me to scrap yards to get parts for our cars, we couldn't afford cars that didn't need work doing to them. While she was removing some part, I would be grabbing reg plates, car badges, headlights and wings. Back home I'd fit the lights into the wings and connect my lights up to a car battery, I was 14 at the time 😆 Mum didnt like this but I'd put stuff in the boot of our car and she wouldn't notice until got home ☺
I set up a car horn so she could call me to tell me my food was ready and my stereo player was a tape player out of a car 🤣 All ran from 1 car battery hooked up to a charger.
Another story for the book.

It's a Renault 17. Their answer to the Ford Capri. Didn't do brilliantly in the UK & they rusted as well.

Capris, I owned 2! A joyous white 1.6L and a great 2.8i that went everywhere sideways, loved both of them despite the rust, it was a "Ford" thing.

The pug u looked under the bonnet of wasnt a gti it was a tu engine my guess is a 1360cc tu3 phase 2 . First gti was a phase 1 hard to tell if they are 1.9 or 1.6. Both had 1.6 wheels not 1.9 so could be a badge change

Another brilliant find thanks, My favourites where the two Orion,s The 1.6 Ghia, I used to have one, before a BMW 1.8 Touring, Yes I believe the leather seats on the R/S Turbo where original, those cars where short lived so a rare car! Also the Morris Minor van still had the yellow GPO Telephones colours, so that has been off the road for some time!
This is actually crazy I just can’t believe cars like this are just left to rot :( that R33, Scooby and the E39 I would happily take home 🤩 they need to be saved !
great content Stu but they all have had some sort of work done to them and moved.that white 3 door disc is well worth trying to get hold of as the three door was first made and rare.

That Orion passed its MOT in 23rd may 2011 milage 37.707 had 1 advisory and that was back tyre cracking 😊😊

No it isn't because it hasn't got a turbo manifold on it.. the heat shield is a dead give away, by the looks of the heat shield it's just a 1.4 EFI CVH 👍

The flakey blue / white escort was probably a popular… judging by the mods, probably had an engine upgrade…
I’d say the white xr3i is an SE replica….. probably an MFI 1600 under the bonnet. Worth saving for sure, s1 kit looked genuine, worth a few quid.
The EFI Orion wasn’t a turbo…. 1.4? 1.6? Unsure…
The white cosworth replica is a mk6… it looked aubergine under the white? It had a gti escort front seat… bit of a Frankenstein… vehicle ID on the mk6 is in the drivers side footwell, under a flap.

The grey leather in the orion is out of an orion 16E the E is for executive and the seats are worth a fortune as there rare if thats a genuine E they ruined it 😆

A few ones are salvageable and rebuildable, a few ones are usable for parts but the most are crapt and just to recicle the materials.
There is a white XR3i sitting outside a house near me, it looks like it has been just sitting there for a while, but considering that it looks in quite condition.

Just watching this again,@14.30 the bonnet on the orion has been modified at the front, wierd. Was there an EFi in the Orion? I presume all the rally cars and some of the other stuff was used in a driving experience or rally school business. Would be interested to see what the story was with the Escort cosworth replica.

The seats in the Orion are Orion 1600E seats also the escort Cosworth never had 3 rear spoilers it was considered at design stage only , I’ve owned one for nearly 20 years, keeps up the great vids

It was only an efi, came out in 1990. No turbo unfortunately.
Wooooooow I never owned a 1.9 pug I drove a mate with gutomon conversion that was so fast love the Morris van not a esy daily driver but definitely cool

Unfortunately the second 205 with decals on the bonnet is not a gti. it has a TU (suitcase) engine witch indicates its a base model. 205 GTI use Xu engines. whis will be either 1.0-1.4l

Went on my first family holiday in my dad Orion to flamigoland for two weeks it had massive alloys wheels bigger than one you mention lucky have picture of it. My dad brother had one aswell who sadly died over ten years ago from lung cancer aged 42 he never smoked in his life

Orion with the seats from the 1600E.. its not an original full on 1600E, as the dash is all wrong, so is the wheel and there's no wood on the doors..the wheels are off a mk2 mondeo st24..
