Quick tip: How to Fix a Kitchen Sink Strainer That Doesn't Let Water Escape

I encountered this kitchen sink in a house that had a poorly installed drain plug. The strainer basket was stuck and held water in the sink and never let it drain out - no matter the position of the sink stopper.
So here's a quick fix to make the sink drain work again.

Thank you so much! I realised.......I didn't have a screw. I probably lost it or something. Replaced it with some other screw and...it worked! My wife will be happy! =))

These strainer plugs are horrible deliberately bad by design, thats why they sell separate rubber seals. A plug should last a lifetime, even pastic ones last a lifetime.
