Thank you Dr. Woods. I am blessed by your sound teaching of the Word. This PPOV helps me to make sense of a recently-deceased family member's profession of Christ but worldly behaviors. It perplexed me. This teaching provides an excellent explanation of the devastating impact of unconfessed sin and carnality in the life of the believer.

Rena Armstrong I am so sorry for your loss. I believe I was meant to see your message bc my 17 year old grandson is coming for dinner tonight. I plan to present the gospel to him and you just instilled in me the immense importance of my words. Thank you so much. I will pray for you and your daughter.
Laura E we buried him today. It was the hardest day of our lives. My daughter is so broken. There are no words for this pain. Without Jesus this would be impossible. I’ve thanked Jesus so many times today. As Grandparents, we read scripture and presented the gospel of grace to everyone at the funeral which was the biggest funeral I’ve ever seen. So we pray that those who never heard before would understand why we have this hope. Our boys flesh was weak, but he grew up knowing Jesus as the saviour of this fallen world. We will see him again.
Rena Armstrong Oh my, when I read this I had to stop and sit down. I never dreamed it was so recent. Please know you are being prayed for by a sister and I’m sure many others are too!

But thank you so much for your prayers. I am so confident in my hope. It’s very important that you know your children and grand children hear and believe the gospel of grace. Life is unpredictable and full of trials. Without Jesus it’s just not worth it. I pray your family will receive the truth. God bless you.

My 23 year old grandson just took his own life. I know he was a believer. I’m very glad to hear this message today. We are all changed forever and struggling with this tragedy.

This PPOV is another one of Dr Woods’ best. As I sit here in the comfort of my home, this clear, cold, November evening, viewing what he has, just this afternoon, physically and Biblically served-up to world-wide viewers, I hear from this presentation, straight from the Bible, about just how difficult it is to abide in Christ. The mercurial nature of even redeemed souls has to deal with exercising volitional choices, that they are continually being bombarded with, as their part of participating in God’s existence, with God’s purpose for the outcome of their individual, eternal souls, juxtaposed with His glorification. If I would attempt to sum it all up, this is the battle we struggle with that presents opportunities that if handled with wisdom, will allow Jesus to present “rewards” at the judgement seat some day. I would further venture to say this presentation is “The Nuts and Bolts” of the sanctification process, designed by the Holy Spirit, individually, for all who abide in Him.
I am so glad you addressed directly the slurs _CHEAP GRACE_ and _EASY BELIEVISM._ These concepts feel to me like an insult to the value of what Jesus, the Son of God, did for all sinners. His blood is the most precious, of the highest value, of any substance that ever came to this broken world.
Thank you for this message. I'm glad you are teaching on the dangers of sin. Some in the free grace community won't touch the topic of sin and it's consequences with a 10 foot pole. Some seem to almost inadvertently promote sin (Jude 4) due to their rightful disdain over lordship salvation but their over emphasis on the fallen nature. This was a well balanced message with solid scriptural backing, significance and support. God bless you Pastor Andy.
It’s rather sad they think we will just run out and sin like crazy. Heck. I used to think that way. To clarify I used to think if we didn’t hold the threat of Hell over believing people constantly, they wouldn’t behave. That’s trusting guilt to save, isn’t it? The reality is sin is awful. It’s only fun for a moment and then it’s absolutely awful.
Joshua T “That” are the words from Jesus. No luck needed, but faith in his words, not yours or Andy. “Depart from me, you that practice lawlessness”. “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.”
@@deliom1963 what do you wanna say with that? Jesus and Andy are saying the same thing.. Only you seems to have problems with it.. The scripture you quote is excacly the scripture that shows you, that a believer.. Someone what have faith in the finished work Of christ get his righteousness imputed.. And isn't under the law anymore.. What Jesus said in your quoted verse? Don't come do away but FULFILL the law. Someone who's believe in him, get HIS fulfillment and righteousness..
@@deliom1963 actually it’s you that work iniquity and he will be saying that to you! You trust in your works. Jesus did accomplish all and it’s clear the law is gone and if you are a gentile the law was never given to you anyway.
Wonderful message! Thank you brother Andy. Many people asking questions along these lines in our online bible study tonight. God bless you and know that you have been a blessing in my own personal bible studies.

Pastor thank you for this full teaching on this subject. Not many go into such depth but yet fully explained. I love this for my life to refresh my mind, even though I fully believe this , but to keep me reminded of the scripture to study so that I may be ready at any time to share the Word of God to anyone God brings across my path that I may be faithful to share His mighty Grace in a manner that one could understand and not remain in deception and bondage of works. 🙏 for you and your ministry. 💜🙏🤩🙌
Thank you for this very comforting study. I still see professing believers "wringing their hands" because they're not sure about their salvation. So sad.
Pastor, thank you for this teaching! It has cleared up confusion I have had on this subject for many years. My earthly father went forward at a Billy Graham crusade in the ‘70s and prayed the “prayer of salvation.” He lived like the devil. At the end of his live refused to repent and even said he didn’t need Christ because he never sinned. I understand that simply repeating a prayer doesn’t save you, but faith in Christ alone. Thank you for teaching thoroughly and consistently.
Dr. Woods. Thank you for this and all of your messages. They help to strengthen me and remind me to ALWAYS be thankful for Gods freely given gift of Salvation. We should do good works because God HAS SAVED US and because He Loves us. Doing good works brings us blessings and peace now and will bring us rewards in Gods Kingdom. I would submit that even the Spiritual Believer will slip up from time to time and will sin (being angry with some horrible driver who cuts us off in traffic). No one is truly perfect. We must ALL continually strive to overcome, repent and return to the straight and narrow path that leads to peace. I agree with you 100% that our good works, or the lack thereof, have no effect on the Salvation that is Gods freely given gift to those who BELIEVE in Jesus Christ. Praise The LORD! Even the Apostle Paul admitted that the things that he would (should) do, he does not...and the things that he would not do (should not do), those things he does. We are all sinners....SAVED BY THE GRACE OF GOD AND THE BLOOD OF HIS LOVING AND PERFECT SON, JESUS CHRIST! AMEN! Thank you again and many blessings, in Jesus Holy name!
The very expression "cheap grace" feels so blasphemous to me. The price our Lord paid was immense. Those two words should never be uttered by anyone. I am forever grateful to the Lord for His sacrifice for us all 🥺
Another reason for carnality is former sufferings and abuse. Even though we have the mind of Christ, the world's attack on children is real. My family suffered horribly by living with my alcoholic and violent father, and that kind of background makes it very difficult to overcome our human fears and depression, etc....and it turn they cause believers to have more difficulty staying away from sin, at least in my experience and observation.
Grace wasn't ever and never will be cheap, we were bought with a price.... There is always going to be those who will discredit the word and our salvation to their own damnation.
Being judgemental is a form of unbelief in itself. Who are we to judge the actions of a believer who is being affected by the Spirit? They are being led, no matter what those on the outside say. We don't know where they started, He does. We don't know how far any believer has progressed, He does. We didn't do anything to get them saved, He did. Nobody says Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.
Exactly correct because drugs are addictive to the flesh so someone who is addicted to smoking or drugs they cannot be condemned for something that is of flesh. Thank you for this
God is so amazing. I was asking God about this. I am usually pretty shored up, but doubt crept in. Ugggg. I know. I am assured, but I have an enemy. God justified me. He is everything. God is going to see me through to completion. He said so. He did not say he started a good work in me, and now i am on my own and have to figure it out. He said I will see you through to completion...and he does what he says. By grace I am saved. By Jesus work transformed. It is nothing I have done. I have never wanted to sin. I just did not know what I needed or what was good for me. I cannot parent myself. I need a heavenly dad to teach me, guide me, and lead me. When your actively, willfully sinning you lose that blessed confidence and fellowship with the holy spirit. Nothing can fill up that vacancy when you have experienced it. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Yes..you feel that grief and loss and it stops you. Until your running towards God....you do not want to be away from God. I confess I do not know how to take care of myself and God does.
What I like about these PPOV is I can go back and review. Plus the fact still healing from cataract surgery and cannot read well yet. Need glasses and eyes need to completely heal
Dear Brother Andy, I know you have done a study on these Scriptures before. I believe after your 2 part study in debunking "Final Salvation", this would be good to do; especially the Hebrews Verses. Hebrews 6:4 - 6:6; Hebrews 10:26 - 10:28; 1 John 2:3 - 2:4; 2 Timothy 2:11 - 2:12; 2 Peter 2:20 - 2:22; Ezekiel 18:24 - 18:26

Andy! I loved it! Not to be rude, but on one of your charts (pie graph) you seem to be saying that “four types of believers are mentioned in 1 Cor. 3. The chart then lists three types of believers, and unbelievers as the 4th group. I think you meant to say either “these are the four types of people which God speaks about in His word, and here is a passage in which All three types of believers are identified.” A friend of mine was confused and my father as well when I shared just the pie chart. figured it was a simple typo. Thank you so much for just proclaiming the truth!!
Thankyou Man of God for your all ALL precious teaching ,me that is very difficult to understand to understand bible , but with your teachings it's very well ! I have a question on a verse on John 8:3 I cant understand wht JESUS is trying to say , meaning ! Thankyou if you can explain 🙏🏻🙏🏻💕💕God bless you ..!!
Pastor Andy, you mention a row of things we lose when we return to our sinful nature that doesn't separate us from hell. Power, Holy Spirit Joy and so on... My question is - what happens to a person saved by grace and faith alone if he loses his faith?
Dr Woods, in the light of this very helpful teaching, I would be most grateful if you could explain John 15 verse 6? I understand what you were talking about in verses 5 & 8 where a believer will experience blessing and bear fruit while abiding in Christ, but what does verse 6 mean, please?
Hello Meg, John 15:6 talks about the branches that don't abide in Him. This is a different vine. These are works done not through Christ but for themselves. If you read John 15:1 Jesus is the true vine. Verse 2 talks about those who don't produce fruit in His vine; they are "lifted up". Some translations say "take away", and scholars differ on the meaning of the Greek term, airo. It means both. Since the Father is the vinedresser, the verses we are talking about in its proper context (and how to work a vineyard), we the branches are to produce fruit and if not, the Father will lift us up to produce fruit. This is my interpretation of it. Feel free to comment. Thanks!
Nivalian , hello and thank you so much for that!. I think I was misunderstanding the verse. Seeing that v 6 speaks of a different vine makes sense, and yes, I see that v 2 speaks of the Lord pruning us if we aren’t bearing fruit! Thank you for taking the time to send such a detailed and helpful reply. Meg
Dr. Woods, I find a dilemma in sharing some of your messages. I'm blessed in listening to you; I've gained such a deeper and much desired understanding of the "true" gospel of Jesus Christ; that which I sincerely, and most earnestly prayed to be led to; HIS truth; this after nearly 48 years of practicing Mormonism, my being born a raised in it. (I'm just shy of 9 years free of that bondage). My dilemma, is do I freely share all of your videos with my family, as in some you speak directly against Mormonism. I do agree with your point, but the problem I'm against is as soon as my believing and practicing, and even sometimes questioning, family and friends were to hear that, I know, from past experience, their defenses would immediately go up and their hearts and minds would shut so they would miss the essential truths they could otherwise hear, as they would likely cease listening. I do share your messages that don't mention mormons, and I'd love to find a way to edit out the mention of mormons in the other messages, such as this one, as the message could teach my mormon practicing acquaintances much. I don't know, perhaps I should just share the messages anyhow? Thank you for all you do, as, again, my life is so blessed by your efforts.
GDH Hayes my future daughter-in-law was raised Mormon. My son began sharing the gospel with her from the beginning of their relationship. Then she started asking me questions that he wasn’t able to answer. What I found was the the Holy Spirit had been working “on” her (not in her) for years, but she was too afraid to talk to anyone about it. I prayed and immediately began sharing Andy’s teaching with her. All of her questions haven’t been answered, but she has now placed her belief in Jesus Christ. She now considers Andy her pastor. Pray and follow God’s lead and trust Him with the outcome.
PureFire of God - Mum and Son In Christ, yes, I think it was him that coined the phrase. But others throw it around as well. In addition to this problem, I believe he had a lot of other theological baggage as well. Quoting Bonhoeffer is sort of like quoting CS Lewis in that regard.
@@AndyWoodsBibleStudy I believe i was too, and he's poisoned others along with himself and correctly you say many many many people hurl Cheap Grace around today not good ! On CS Lewis a pastor I know called Troy Dukes In Tampa Florida , we converse with him via facebook ...this s what he said about CS Lewis a few weeks back ~~ What is wrong with the writing of C. S. Lewis? One of his most influential books was Mere Christianity in which he attempted to explain the Christian faith in an ecumenical way that both Christians and Catholics and people of all denominations could come together and agree upon. He was no believer in many of the main doctrines of Christianity. He denied man’s depravity and affirmed man’s basic goodness. He denied a literal hell. He rejected the truth of creation, the book of Jonah and Job calling them myths. He saw Christianity not as the one true religion but as the fulfillment of all pagan myths and symbolism. So Christ was the good in all pagan religions. He carried this belief over to his writings and told myths that combined Paganism and Christianity. Paganism abounds in the Chronicles of Narnia. The first character we meet in Narnia is Mr. Tumnus. He is part faun and part man. He has horns and faun ears and he has a magical flute. This is the exact description of Pan the evil god of male virility and prowess. He was an extremely perverted god with only one thing on his mind. You may remember him as the demonic looking animal man carrying the Pan Flute. Lewis uses all his physical descriptions, but represents him as good and only leaves out his perverted behavior. In his Prince Caspian there is a wild dance in Aslan’s presence with many wild girls and a young man named Bacchus and another man on a donkey named Silenius, and many wild animals. The crowd wildly chants Euio. In Greek mythology Bacchus is the God of wine who liberates by wine, and with his donkey riding drunk companion Silenius have wild orgies with girls who seek to be possessed with Bacchus's powers through wild dancing, and chanting Euoi. Finally when they receive his power they tear apart the wild animals and eat them raw or they would eat humans. Young Lucy adds, “I wouldn't have felt very safe with Bacchus and all his wild girls if we'd met them without Aslan.” These grossly perverted pagan demon gods are portrayed as good characters by Lewis. By the end of the scene Aslan leads the crowd of dancers with Bacchus and Silenius following. If this is supposed to be a symbol of Christ, but he is leading the perverted Bacchus worship! Examples could be multiplied. The Chronicles include much alcohol consumption, includes smoking. Consistent with Lewis’ belief that men could be saved without believing on Christ, Aslan pardons a servant of a demon citing that his good heart was really service to the king and not to the devil. Harry Potter includes boys practicing witchcraft and we beg our families to keep their children from this. Narnia has the supposed Jesus character practicing witchcraft! Narnia leads unsuspecting Christian children everywhere to the acceptance of perverted sensual demon worship just like those at Sinai who with their wild dancing, nakedness and play came under the condemnation of almighty God. ~~~ Lewis never claimed to be born again or to get saved. He only claimed he believed Jesus was God and not not faith in the Blood according to Troy Dukes , so we just hope he was forgiven I guess , we can do no more . God bless this your ministry Andy :)) And thanks for it :)) We are well short of sound doctrine in North Wales UK and in fact all over the UK , so we are glad to listen in to various humble American churches where the World of God and The End Times is still preached :) God bless your day Brother :) Love from me and mom Susannah in North Wales UK
No, Jesus raptures the whoe church. He doesn't leave part of his body down here to suffer through the tribulation. All those in Christ, whether carnal or not, will be raptured.
@@Nivalian I’ve just never seen any scripture referring to what you said that if we want a divorce God will allow it and I was interested in figuring it out where you’re at with it today since you’re comment was over a year ago. No hostility at all, just curious because I’ve had conversations with a brother I work with and he thinks we can walk away from God and lose our salvations, but I think different, since I can’t find verses that suggest that. I just find it really hard to believe that a born again believer with the Holy Spirit in them, knowing Christ saved us, knowing there’s no other way to heaven, can just one day say “I’m done with you God, leave me alone” it’s so hard for me to comprehend someone doing that unless they were never truly saved ya know?
@@shizzymack623 I hear what you are saying so, no I don't have a Scripture verse that says what I said; it's more of an indirect thought when using other verses about salvation. In my personal life I knew a young female who was an excellent singer who sang for our church for years. Her Dad was a pastor and mom helped out. Once she was in her early 20s, she decided to leave church and the Christian faith. Recently there have been popular Christian singers who gave up their faith, for example Jonathan Steingard. Or Charles Templeton, a contemporary evangelist of Bill Graham winning souls to Christ, wrote a book called "Farewell To God". Some would say "they were never born-again". Some say you can lose your salvation. This is the way I see it: Just as God allows divorce because of our wicked hearts, God does the same. Why would God have someone who doesn't accept Him force the unbeliever to worship him? I do NOT believe you can lose your salvation. If you have the Spirit of God dwelling within you, the sins you have done in the past, present, and future, you are indeed saved. Once we repent to Christ, there is always the cross that washes away every single sin we did, do, and will do. However, once the believer no longer wants to be saved by grace and from God's wrath, then God allows it. God never will give up on us, but we human can. I could be wrong and say these people were never saved, but it's hard for me to believe that because it looked genuine. These people who gave up on God do say they truly loved the Lord, but no longer do.
Just not sure about this Unconfessed sin?? Confess means to agree with. Our sins are not being imputed on us. Sounds like the catholic doctrine of confession or something.
an--- action ---ocuurrs with will not Receivers BY the living GOD our Father In Heaven through Yeshua the living Messiah !!! But IF we confess our sins ,GOD is FaithFul and Righteous ,to FORGIVE us our sins ,and to CLEANSE us from our Iniquity .1 John 1 vs 9 ( the desire that caused the problem gets dealt with by GOD and taken out thus a changed mind ,heart ,soul and body .
Romans 3:26-28 For He is the just and the justifier of them that BELIEVE in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what Law? By the law of works? Nay, but by the law of FAITH. Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. Love you brother. You have great discernment of scripture. Those that trust in their works have not done the will of His Father in heaven. John 6:40. John 3:18. There will be no boasting in heaven. Romans 6:23 For the penalty of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. You cannot boast in a free gift that we did nothing for. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. Romans 11:6 Amazing grace. Jesus died for sinners. John 3:16-18. Acts 16:31. John 6:47. God cannot lie. Romans 1:16. First John 2:2. John 10:28-29. Double eternal security.
This is stupid, Right from the beginning. Matthew 7:23 is not speaking of Pharisees. The verse says "depart from me ,yee that work lawlessness" The Pharisees were strict followers of the law. It's the Christians who are workers against God's Laws

To clarify I used to think if we didn’t hold the threat of Hell over believing people constantly, they wouldn’t behave. That’s trusting guilt to save, isn’t it? The reality is sin is awful. It’s only fun for a moment and then it’s absolutely awful.
Fanci McGuffin “Go and sin no more”. No more.

Good luck with that.
1 John 1:8
I appreciate the message.
God bless you Andy Woods, thank you, you're a blessing to many..take care brother
Thank you Dr. Woods and God bless you
that chart (17:31) on consequences is excellent!
Your series is very succinct and to the point, anyone could understand it. Thank you so much and God Bless.
Thank you for your sound teaching Andy Woods.
Wonderful message! Thank you brother Andy. Many people asking questions along these lines in our online bible study tonight. God bless you and know that you have been a blessing in my own personal bible studies.

@@bookofrelief1109 Hey my brother Phil! How are you all doing in the land of Oz? Sorry I missed you and everyone the other night, totally crashed out, I hope to catch up next week. Great seeing you here though! I thoroughly enjoy listening to brother Andy's messages. Just started listening for about a month now. God bless you!
Thank God, someone gets it right. John 6:40 and John 6:29.
Thank you. This has been a very freeing lesson. 😊
I needed this instruction thank you!
Thank you for this very comforting study. I still see professing believers "wringing their hands" because they're not sure about their salvation. So sad.
Such a blessing to hear this message!
Excellent!! Thank You So Much for this teaching! Thank You Jesus!!
So blessed with this teaching Pastor Woods. Thank you Perth Western Australia
Another excellent teaching. Thank you pastor.
top notch, brother... :-)
Thank you, Andy.
Thank you. Needed to hear this.
Excellent presentation as usual.
Thank you Pastor Andy!👍🙏☝️
Love your teachings pastor. The one expression that really gets me is hyper grace, which isnt in the bible either.
I am forever grateful to the Lord for His sacrifice for us all 🥺
Amen!
Thank you Pastor. You are truly a Blessing.
There is always going to be those
who will discredit the word and our
salvation to their own damnation.
Thank you for this
What a powerful, important discussion. For those ready to hear the Truth, it could be life changing.
Amazing explanation!!!!!
A great word dear Brother, so thank you and thank You dear LORD.
Wow!!! What a teaching!
Thank you Pastor. Wow, good teaching!
Would like to see Andy publish all of his great research!
Amen 🙏🏻
Amen and thank you
God is so amazing.
1 John 1 vs 9 CONFESS and get cleansed of the wrong behavior or desire that caused the sin and get cleansed by GOD !!!
What I like about these PPOV is I can go back and review. Plus the fact still healing from cataract surgery and cannot read well yet. Need glasses and eyes need to completely heal
Dear Brother Andy,
I know you have done a study on these Scriptures before.
I second that....I agree with his teaching but how do we reconcile these passages that you reference.

Everyone like to cherry pick SCRIPTURES and ask for explanation which is good to have understand but when we leave out the full message we miss the teachings is all I am saying for Paul was PREACHING TO THE GENTILES AND ALL OTHER'S WHERE PREACHING TO JEWS. GBY
Andy! I loved it! Not to be rude, but on one of your charts (pie graph) you seem to be saying that “four types of believers are mentioned in 1 Cor. 3. The chart then lists three types of believers, and unbelievers as the 4th group.
I think you meant to say either “these are the four types of people which God speaks about in His word, and here is a passage in which
All three types of believers are identified.”
A friend of mine was confused and my father as well when I shared just the pie chart. figured it was a simple typo.
Thank you so much for just proclaiming the truth!!
Faith is a gift not work--God saves when we come to Jesus , when this happens we went to do God's will.
What Kimberly said 👍
@Psalm2 you got it 👍❤️
Jesus is Lord
I am confused by the portion of John 15 that says the branch that does not bear fruit He takes away. What does that mean?
Meg
Pastor what about the prodigal son story, at the end it mentions the son was first lost now he’s found.
Where can I print a copy of your slide on consequences? This teaching has been freeing! Thank you!!!
@@cdaprice3416 thank you; I'll heed your advice.
GDH Hayes I’ll be praying for you
Please correct me if I'm wrong but want it Dietrich Bonhoeffer that came up with the " Cheap Grace " ? He sounds all wrong to me anyways

On CS Lewis a pastor I know called Troy Dukes In Tampa Florida , we converse with him via facebook ...this s what he said about CS Lewis a few weeks back
~~
What is wrong with the writing of C. S.
Young Lucy adds, “I wouldn't have felt very safe with Bacchus and all his wild girls if we'd met them without Aslan.”
These grossly perverted pagan demon gods are portrayed as good characters by Lewis.
~~~
Lewis never claimed to be born again or to get saved. He only claimed he believed Jesus was God and not not faith in the Blood according to Troy Dukes , so we just hope he was forgiven I guess , we can do no more .
God bless this your ministry Andy :)) And thanks for it :))
We are well short of sound doctrine in North Wales UK and in fact all over the UK , so we are glad to listen in to various humble American churches where the World of God and The End Times is still preached :)
God bless your day Brother :) Love from me and mom Susannah in North Wales UK
PureFire of God - Mum and Son In Christ I never knew any of that about C.S. Lewis. Thank you for sharing
One question: at the rapture, those unrepented carnal Christians (but saved), will they be left behind?
Never thought of it but very interesting question.
No, Jesus raptures the whoe church. He doesn't leave part of his body down here to suffer through the tribulation. All those in Christ, whether carnal or not, will be raptured.
Is this a once saved, always saved teaching???
Yes, but unless the person wants a divorce, God will allow.
@@Nivalian will he?
@@shizzymack623 I don't see why not
@@Nivalian I’ve just never seen any scripture referring to what you said that if we want a divorce God will allow it and I was interested in figuring it out where you’re at with it today since you’re comment was over a year ago. No hostility at all, just curious because I’ve had conversations with a brother I work with and he thinks we can walk away from God and lose our salvations, but I think different, since I can’t find verses that suggest that. I just find it really hard to believe that a born again believer with the Holy Spirit in them, knowing Christ saved us, knowing there’s no other way to heaven, can just one day say “I’m done with you God, leave me alone” it’s so hard for me to comprehend someone doing that unless they were never truly saved ya know?
@@shizzymack623 I hear what you are saying so, no I don't have a Scripture verse that says what I said; it's more of an indirect thought when using other verses about salvation. In my personal life I knew a young female who was an excellent singer who sang for our church for years. Her Dad was a pastor and mom helped out. Once she was in her early 20s, she decided to leave church and the Christian faith. Recently there have been popular Christian singers who gave up their faith, for example Jonathan Steingard. Or Charles Templeton, a contemporary evangelist of Bill Graham winning souls to Christ, wrote a book called "Farewell To God". Some would say "they were never born-again". Some say you can lose your salvation. This is the way I see it: Just as God allows divorce because of our wicked hearts, God does the same. Why would God have someone who doesn't accept Him force the unbeliever to worship him? I do NOT believe you can lose your salvation. If you have the Spirit of God dwelling within you, the sins you have done in the past, present, and future, you are indeed saved. Once we repent to Christ, there is always the cross that washes away every single sin we did, do, and will do. However, once the believer no longer wants to be saved by grace and from God's wrath, then God allows it. God never will give up on us, but we human can. I could be wrong and say these people were never saved, but it's hard for me to believe that because it looked genuine. These people who gave up on God do say they truly loved the Lord, but no longer do.
16:40 4 me.
Just not sure about this Unconfessed sin?? Confess means to agree with.
Our sins are not being imputed on us.
Sounds like the catholic doctrine of confession or something.
an--- action ---ocuurrs with will not Receivers BY the living GOD our Father In Heaven through Yeshua the living Messiah !!! But IF we confess our sins ,GOD is FaithFul and Righteous ,to FORGIVE us our sins ,and to CLEANSE us from our Iniquity .1 John 1 vs 9 ( the desire that caused the problem gets dealt with by GOD and taken out thus a changed mind ,heart ,soul and body .
Romans 3:26-28 For He is the just and the justifier of them that BELIEVE in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what Law? By the law of works? Nay, but by the law of FAITH. Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. Love you brother. You have great discernment of scripture.
Those that trust in their works have not done the will of His Father in heaven. John 6:40. John 3:18. There will be no boasting in heaven. Romans 6:23 For the penalty of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You cannot boast in a free gift that we did nothing for. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. Romans 11:6 Amazing grace. Jesus died for sinners. John 3:16-18. Acts 16:31. John 6:47. God cannot lie. Romans 1:16. First John 2:2. John 10:28-29. Double eternal security.
This is stupid, Right from the beginning. Matthew 7:23 is not speaking of Pharisees. The verse says "depart from me ,yee that work lawlessness" The Pharisees were strict followers of the law. It's the Christians who are workers against God's Laws
This is the first time I disagree with Andy :( 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ; Revelation 21:27; Matthew 7:19-23 etc.
