Big disadvantage of sketchup that it can't create animations with moving objects. This kind of animation is not really valuable for exploded view. Hopefully they will fix it soon.
Well you can in the pro version using the animator extension, but it would be nice to see this built in. That said, not expecting it to be added anytime soon I don't think
@@Thesketchupessentials Your doubling handling of sections to simultaneously hiding and revealing objects is brilliant, but confusing. I can understand the principle. But I will need to watch (and pause) this video every time I wants to attempt something similar. And that to me is the essence of not simple.
Its not too complicated but as Deontjie said we will have to keep pausing the videos to keep track of the coordination between the planes and the scenes. I think if we do it a couple of times we would get a hang of it quite easily
Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about today's video in the comments below! :)

@@Thesketchupessentials welcome
what is the significance of the orange and blue section planes?
Teşekkürler.
👍
You would think they would have a function for this.
You can do it in the desktop version with Animator - that tool has an "explode" animation type that moves the objects automatically

btw: the first (german) comment from that Gghu guy is spam - don't even bother
Lol - I know - UA-cam has a real problem with comments like that - I usually report them but it takes me a couple minutes
All you do is click on the dots and report it. Then it goes away.
Keeping it simple? You must be joking.
What did you think was complicated?
