Nice build but what I am confused is to why you did not share the actual stats and attributes on the build as that imo is the important things to share a build
The reason I didn't bother is because those attributes for a sniper build are self explanatory. All the gearset pieces only have 1 attribute, and that's Headshot Damage. Every mod slot has Headshot Damage. And for the brandsets that have 2 attributes, the second attribute doesn't matter. Basically if you use those pieces of gear, and then maximize your headshot damage, that's all you need to do. So the wording is misleading, but basically after your third headshot, in order to be getting all 3 buffs, you need to be landing headshot *kills*. So even if you shoot a new target in the head, if it doesn't kill them in one shot, it will reset your hotshot bonus.
The Achilles Pulse skill adds a headshot damage multiplier to whatever body part it marks. So if the head gets marked, it gets the headshot multiplier added twice. That, in addition to the damage buff from Headhunter and the powerful exotic Nemesis, is enough to one-shot the boss
Something I like to go for when making a build, is to make a build that can handle the piece of content I'm doing completely. Yup! It's the talent called Determined on my White Death. Determined makes it so that for first shot after a headshot kill is a guaranteed headshot no matter where on the body you hit. So I shoot them in the body, the talent changes that shot into a headshot, and since I get the kill with one headshot, the talent reactivates.
Am curious with the choice of a holo sight instead of the Digi scopes and such, why's that? Comfortability? Great run though, trying to do my first solo legendary with a similar setup.
Precisely, it's for comfort, and also a slightly increased effective rate of fire. It's easier to quickscope and chain kills together without the scope, and it's also easier to use against enemies in close range. Since you lose Determined when switching weapons, I tend to avoid switching weapons. And for that reason, it's important my sniper rifle can handle long range enemies and close range ones. I use very low sensitivity and a very large mousemat, so sniping long range targets without a scope isn't a problem.
Was it purpose to use health dmg on the white death or do you use this attribute because you had no better roll? Do you HS dmg and Weapon Handling of all of your items as attributes?
Yes, the DTH is on purpose. The build has enough damage to one-shot the elites anyways, so there's no need to use my DTA white death or my DTTOOC one. The DTH one allows me to one-shot the heavy's helmets and the robot dogs when shooting them in the leg. For the attributes, yes Headshot damage (and all the gear mods), and for the second attribute either weapon handling, armor regen, skill haste... really it's whatever you want, it's not important.
@@swift4010 ahhhh ok health dmg is the trick for dogs and heavy helmets. i have some trouble all the time with this. I regularly use white death with dta or dttooc. But ti be honest i never tried 4 pieces of HS. Instead I run Memento
@@jokerandy8373 memento can technically give a decent damage buff, but having the inconsistent damage from the pick-ups means you either can only kill elites after picking up a buff, our you can kill them without the pick-up, and then in that case why do you need memento? I find the build can do enough damage without a damaging backpack talent, and Bloodsucker is such an overpowered defensive talent for a solo sniper, it's hard to pass up.
So your strat for Aggro was to keep one red enemy alive until the Achilles pulsed his head, right? Then you used the tac for full HH, Nemesis for max damage?
@@nealio6458 yup! That's exactly right. Ideally you'd do it with more than one enemy left, because it takes 2 kills to get your HH to full stacks, so if I didn't get the head pulse I would have had to reset, since my half stack of HH would have expired. One tac kill is enough the get full HH for your bolt action, but it takes 2 to get the nemesis to full stacks, or only 1 if you already were at full stacks on the bolt action.
Cool! I saw you targeting the pulse on his head, does that actually make a difference, or is it random targeting? Also, I’m planning to one shot him in a full group, so is it enough to go from full HH on the Model 700 to the Nemesis, or do you need to switch from the tac?
@@nealio6458 full HH on the Model 700 is only half HH on the Nemesis or the TAC, so you need to get a kill with either of those first to get to full HH if you already had full stacks on the Model 700. That being said, this build won't work for 4 players. He has about 60 million hp solo, but about 170 million hp in a full group. For a full group you'll need a perfect focus build using Aces and Eights. Achilles only buffs the bullet portion, not the HH bonus damage. When playing solo that's enough, but in a group you need to simply boost your base bullet damage as much as possible for the Achilles multiplier to apply. You will also need someone in your group running FI healer to give you bonus damage, and bonuses from the Scorpio and the Opportunistic backpack talent, and honestly any other buffing talents you can fit in. And while you're at it, someone else should manage the Achilles pulse with a skill build so that they can overcharge and guarantee that the head gets pulsed, because the pulsed segments are randomized.
@@iamcallumj I am. When I completed the mission and hit record, it had been too long and the first few minutes didn't get recorded. So I went back and redid the first few minutes and recorded it again. Also during one of those recordings I messed up an area by running out of headhunter, so I simply used the clip from the better of the two attempts.
Can I ask why didnt you just equip an AR for the dogs room? Is it more efficient to hit them with the white death like that on this build or am I missing something 😂
That's a very valid question. An AR or the Bluescreen would have been a much better choice for the dog room. However when I set out to do this, I didn't want to be doing a whole bunch of gear swapping between rooms. I wanted a build that could clear the entirety of the mission from start to finish. If I were going for speed, there would have been a lot of switching of gear and abilities between rooms.
It's possible that there's something missing about your build. What is the expertise level of your White Death, and is your watch level 1000+? Also double check that your specialization points are put towards marksman rifles in the spec tree. Make sure you're using the +5% weapon damage magazine as well. And I know it goes without saying but just in case... this only works for solo, in a group you need a different build to have enough damage.
Bloodsucker is superior for almost all solo content, since Vigilance is harder to keep active while solo, most content in the game isn't difficult enough when solo to require that extra damage, and having variable damage on a HH build is bad, because it means there's a chance you'll fail your one-shot and lose all your HH stacks if your talent gets disabled.
@@ashwininamdar for 4 player legendary groups, chest would be Chainkiller with a red core, and backpack would be Airaldis with a red core and Vigilance. For Heroic or lower difficulty, or small groups for Legendary, it's enough to just use the same build with all red cores instead of 4 red and 2 blue. In a group it's easy to keep vigilance active, since tiny chip damage into your bonus armor doesn't affect it, and you shouldn't be taking direct damage too often. The only thing this build struggles with is popping heavy helmets in 4 player Legendary. You need to use the TAC-50 or Nemesis to do that, since the White Death won't have quite enough damage. Also you'll need a few levels of expertise on your White Death for 4 player legendary elites, but not a lot. Like, maybe 6ish levels of expertise.
I think that Determined has made the game too easy. Having played snipers since the game came out, Determined feels like I'm cheating. They need to make it so the talent doesn't refresh itself on body shots, but they also need to make sure the talent doesn't get consumed when landing headshots naturally when the talent is active. It needs to be a talent that lets you make the occasional body shot kill without messing up headhunter, but you then have to go right back to headshot kills.

Great in general, but, why are you not using any second weapons? Fighting robo dogs with sniper rifle is silly, Scorpio might be a good decision for those situations, bro)!
I try to make a build that can handle the entire mission without swapping anything ideally. It's just my preferred way of doing content, even if it's not optimal. In this case, the white death is for regular enemies, and the Nemesis is for bosses or restarting my headhunter in some cases. As for the robots, as long as I have headhunter and determined active, I can one-shot the robot dogs with the White Death, and then Determined reactivates after the dog self destructs. Then I just need a weak enemy to shoot to restart my Headhunter chain.
Amazing how you go from 2510 SHD score at 5.50 to 2504 at 5:56. Amazing how you can go back 6 SHD levels!!! Or did you not complete it in one go? You naughty boy
You are correct, sort of. I did complete it all in 1 go, but my recording was not long enough to save the entire mission in one clip. So I had to go back and rerecord the first 5 minutes over again and patch the video together. After this I adjusted the max recording tone of my clips
If headhunter is active, it can one-shot the dogs, but if I don't have headhunter, it does almost nothing because it's a sniper rifle, not a rifle, and sniper rifles without HH get most of their damage from the headshot bonus, which obviously doesn't apply.

I love hotshot, is my favorite, but try do this in console, with drift, high ping. This is the true legendary. LOL
@@heliojansen I served my time on ps4 back in division 1 lol. I eventually made the swap to PC and abandoned my progress literally because I wanted to be free of trying to snipe on console. I feel your pain, or rather, I've felt your pain.
How are you getting 1 shot body shots? I have a hotshot build with nem, with 285% headshot dmg so i do about 45mill with my shots, but not body shots like your build. Did you do critical hit dmg? Im also not as high as your shd level lol
@@swift4010 Ah! that makes so much more sense! thank you! This is a crazy video I loved it!
@@Hypernautz thanks! Glad you enjoyed. My world record clear of Tidal Basin is much more impressive though, this video is quite old lol
Hi, what's the perk on your backpack?
@@dexhfh Bloodsucker
@@swift4010 👍
@@swift4010 thanks will try your set because i run a lot of lone wolf sniper sets. cant wait for the update and the buff for the mantis
And while you're at it, someone else should manage the Achilles pulse with a skill build so that they can overcharge and guarantee that the head gets pulsed, because the pulsed segments are randomized.
you are at different SHD levels throughout the video.
@@swift4010 Okay that makes sense, thanks for clarifying.
I don't think it still work anymore on Legendary, after landed 2 hit to maximize HeadHunter buff, yellow enemies won't killed with 1 tap
Also make sure you have the global event disabled too.
I Just try it again using 1 blue core and 3pfe, it really work like you do, I will farm to get Nemesis now :D
Wow! Do you have Bloodsucker on the backpack? How does it compare to Vigilance? Is it situational?
Bloodsucker is superior for almost all solo content, since Vigilance is harder to keep active while solo, most content in the game isn't difficult enough when solo to require that extra damage, and having variable damage on a HH build is bad, because it means there's a chance you'll fail your one-shot and lose all your HH stacks if your talent gets disabled.
@@swift4010 thank you so much! How would you adjust this build for group content?
@@swift4010 thank you so much! Last question, how can I get an invite to the MMR clan?
@@ashwininamdar just shoot me a message on discord, username is swift4010, and I'll invite you. All invites have to go through me
It is cool , but what you think about using determined , you can feel like a real sniper ?
I think that Determined has made the game too easy. Having played snipers since the game came out, Determined feels like I'm cheating.
They need to make it so the talent doesn't refresh itself on body shots, but they also need to make sure the talent doesn't get consumed when landing headshots naturally when the talent is active.
It needs to be a talent that lets you make the occasional body shot kill without messing up headhunter, but you then have to go right back to headshot kills.
How did you know what talent he has on? The build only shows one image for me, and I can't tell from that image.

And yes, the Zoo is on the list, but currently working on improving my Tidal Basin time first.
After this I adjusted the max recording tone of my clips

why does ur rifle do so little dmg to the robot dogs?
If headhunter is active, it can one-shot the dogs, but if I don't have headhunter, it does almost nothing because it's a sniper rifle, not a rifle, and sniper rifles without HH get most of their damage from the headshot bonus, which obviously doesn't apply.

it working without nerf?
When they tried to nerf Determined, they broke the talent. The buff would go away on body-shot kills, but it would also go away when you got your second headshot kill.
In addition to that, the buff would deactivate whenever any of your skills were destroyed, cancelled, or timed out, or any time an enemy would die to a status effect.
So they reverted the nerf, and haven't touched it since.
But the nerf still stands on the perfect version like “Prophet”
Clearly had lots of failed attempts, should have used technician, those emp nades would have sorted those dogs.
@@johnburrows8281 I agree that the emp nades would be useful, but in theory if I can manage my headhunter properly then the dogs are not an issue, with the exception of the final room with the 3 of them.
That being said, the TAC-50 is a much more useful tool throughout the rest of the mission, and I can always use a different weapon for the dogs, I just decided I wanted to try doing the entire thing with only a sniper rifle just to see if I could.
These days I just use the ravenous if I encounter a large group of robot dogs.
This doesn't work anymore
Actually it still does! They nerfed Determined a while ago, but they accidentally broke the talent when trying to nerf it. So they reverted the nerf to put it back to normal, and said they were going to look at doing a proper fix eventually. That was about half a year ago though, and still no change.

@@swift4010 can't open the link sir, can you please type the build instead?
I don't see anything cool about using cronus zen to get accurate shots. I don't know why people like to use this kind of cheat.
Are you really that bad at PC to not realize that people who practice their aim are able to aim this well without using aim assist? I've been playing a sniper in Division games for almost a decade, I've gotten moderately decent in that time, so no I don't need to use cheats. I just have a really high quality mouse, a giant mouse mat, and very low sensitivity, and a lot of muscle memory and arm aiming practice (not wrist aiming).
Do yourself a favour, and go watch some competitive counterstrike to see what actually good m+kb players can do, and you'll realize that what you see in this video is actually pretty average, and definitely not cheats.
