I grew up in '90's , as a Gen Xer teenager , and remember this song , from the 11th grade , and that SNL sketch, with Cheri Oteri and Will Ferrell ! That SNL sketch , is beyond hilarious 😂 🤣 !! I'm on the floor in tears , every time I see that notorious SNL sketch 😂 🤣 !!

Excellent
Now this song is in a verizon commmercial.
It's been a long time since I last heard this on the radio...I missed it.
There is no replacement for the best.
I remember hearing this the first time on Boston radio station KISS 108 on the show Club Kiss After Hours with DJ Danae Jacovidis. He had the track months before it hit the clubs.
Oh Baby, you know I like it like that!
I heard this back in college. Talk about the time of my life!
First heard this on Danny Tenaglias Essential Mix in 94. Gets any party started!
I remember this on the old Jock Jam CD's. Yea im old lol But u know they was good, well atleast the first few
The first time I heard this version was late at night on a Montreal radio station's dance-music show in 1998. Ever since then, whenever I've heard this version, I've invariably found myself spelling out "M-O-N-T-R-E-A-L" to the beat of the music, particularly during the extended intro. I love that city -- it's the dance-music capital of North America.
Good answer. Great track.
Tbh, I didn't know that Grover Washington Jr. was in this song... ♡
Yess summer
That amigo can really blow!!
I remember thinking they said, “stomp your feet if you like my feet”
i remember it being released in 1994, thats why! my original vinyl agrees and so does discogs.. it got re-released in 1996
Thank you I love this version!

Man, this is GREAT song!! I am just glad that someone shared this awesome with us.
thankyou for uploading a high quality copy of the song. I hate it when people upload shitty 128kbps or lower
Sheila E. on drums she was part of Prince's little universe back in the mid 80's
she was Appolonia in Purple Rain
I like it like that
@tmobileg it got really popular in 1997 it was the 7th most requested song
I respect the Pete Rodriguez OG, but this is the superior version to me.
roundabout yes
@tmobileg i've got a danny tenaglia mix from 1994...this is the first track!! that's the raeson why...:P
Yeah. It was from the movie of the same name as the song.
pete rodriguez actually did the original version back in the 60s...

this over Cardi B any time of day, for sure!
Who?!?
1996 in the Burger King Commerical During the Super Bowl My Cowboys Won
@tmobileg this song was re-released several times in the 90s
It rattles my sub!
@tmobileg Hmm, u r wrong... i've got a Danny Tenaglia radio mix from 1994too,he played this on it:)
I remember this song being released in 1997. During the fall of 1997. Why does it show the date of 1994?
It was mixed and released in the summer of 1994. It began to chart on billboard then the movie was pulled from the theaters so they immediately stopped promoting it. It disappeared for a couple of years then some DJs in miami started playing it. It blew up than radio jumped on it and then became a huge hit in 1997
@8898stonecold I couldn't possibly recommend a firefox add-on called Video2mp3 ;)
@gofaqyosef It is 1994. It is the first track in Danny Tenaglia's 1994 Essential Mix.
I got it from iTunes...don't see why you cant ...same version
@smashhitter1 Burger King is based in Miami FL where there is a LARGE Latin community this song is a latin dance song so.........you can dance down Burger King Way in S.Miami Cutler (Ridge) Bay to thia song lol
Maybe that the song is played in GTA V?
Where can I buy this particular version of this song? I can't find it on iTunes, Amazon or Google Play.
