Missed you Laura! So glad you had a great summer. I think everyone deserves a break after these last couple of years. You are brave to go hiking by yourself. By big outing this year was to go to my first fibre fest in PEI but it was canceled AGAIN due to Hurricane Fiona. Glad they did after what has been going on here in Atlantic Canada. We were very lucky as we were out of power for less that 24 hours but there are people still without power a week later.☹ enjoy your fall knitting!
I'm so sorry you missed Fibre fest! I heard it was canceled - so frustrating. I would love to visit pei one day, glad to hear you have your power restored - I know all about power outages and how hard that can be!

Wow, you have such a gorgeous stash! I'm looking forward to seeing how those Shirley Brian socks knit up as I have the same yarn in my stash. The Sorel sweater you were wearing looks really great on you! Here are the 2 one skein shawls I've made before: Reyna shawl, and Nurmilintu. Both were free on Ravelry. Happy Knitting!

So much fun seeing your stash of sock yarn. Mine is pretty similar with a variety of commercial and hand dyed, speckled and tonal, striping and variegated. I recently knit up a great pair of Halloween socks for my mom using the Haunted House colour way from Log Cabin Fiber Co on Etsy and I’ll be gifting them to her when we meet next weekend for thanksgiving. It is your videos that introduced me to Fellici from Knit Picks. I picked up a few colours but haven’t knit them up yet. Maybe that’s what I’ll use for some Christmas knitting, since it will be easy for the recipients to care for. Now I’m inspired to shop through my stash. Thanks for another great video!
