That iconic fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov took place on October 6th, 2018 and not October 7th. It was October 7th here in India but where it took place (in USA), it was October 6th. October 6th is one date I cannot forget because it's also my birthday. LoL. I don't think it's as easy as that. Money, power, fame, yes men, boy being held accountable can turn great men bad. Not saying this is the case with McGregor. He may have always been a jerk.
Guy was 2 division champ and is the richest MMA fighter of all time. That's as successful of a career as you can have in this sport. He destroyed his reputation.
Except the woman lied.. Police and the courts refused to even prosecute the case because there was no evidence of anything she claimed and even her own friend said she was lying. He's definitely become a bit of an a-hole and fallen from grace in the sport. But as far as this situation goes, it's clearly not true..
This video is a fckng copy from a brazilian youtuber called DigaMeuTruta, the name of the original vid is "Como Conor McGregor Destruiu Sua Própria Carreira". Mf robbed everything, even the thumbnail.
I hear a man say once "The goal in life is to perfect your character, if you don't perfect your character, your character will destroy the places your gift took you." Conner is just one of countless men to rise to the top only to fall because their character was too weak to stay there. Let it be a lesson to the rest of us.
The Floyd fight made him rich. The vast majority of fighters never earn 7 figures, let alone 9 figures. It's tough to be hungry when you have that much fame/wealth etc The cocaine doesn't help either.
Floyd used him for an easy payday then carried him through that fight. Floyd walked out looking like a bank robber wearing a mask to send a message. Lucky for him the ref gave a merciful stop before he got knocked out cold. MMA fans don't understand how hard those shots were in that boxing match. Even a tiny guy like Floyd who moved up in weight several times from his original weight class (126 lbs) to fighting and beating 170 lb guys. Conor got some brain damage in that fight. Even more than he took against Khabib.
@@jeffhicks8428 Both of them won huge but Connor was the real winner when you look at how that fight made him filthy rich. The amount he multiplied his net worth in one night was absurd. Floyd was already rich so it was just another day at the office. It made Connor an icon and ultimately led to his demise. He couldn't stay relevant in MMA with that type of money and fame.
This has always been my stance. It has been the real Conor coming to light bit by bit. He made all the wrong choices in his career after becoming double-champ. He made a lot more money than if he'd continued to chase glory within MMA. But he is superficial and led by wealth and ego. I don't believe he ever intended to fight Chandler once he realised his addictions and lack of commitment wouldn't get him through a successful training camp. And the same goes for the BKFC. After becoming so vain, even getting cosmetic surgery in the last 3 years, there is no way he will risk being scarred on the face. I don't see any company or brand wanting to be associated with him ever again. And now, with no clear path before him, and an overwhelming loss of reputation he is likely to fall even further into trouble and chaos. What fuels Conor is the adulation and respect of others. Now he faces the complete reverse. His anger and resentment will increase to new levels. And I wouldn't be surprised that in the next few years he gets locked up for some sort of violent crime. Or ends up falling completely into addiction and loses everything. But who knows? Maybe I'm wrong and he will pull himself together and seek to be a better person, a bit like Mike Tyson to an extent. We'll see. Excellent video. 👍
Very well said. Hopefully, this'll be a wake-up call for him but everyone's rock bottom is different. I feel horrible for the women he victimized. I wish they were never on the receiving end of his rampaging ego. He deserves to be in jail maybe then he'll get some clarity.
Tyson had to lose it all before he could fix things. He was jailed, he lost all his money, even one of his kids died. Let's hope Conor doesn't need to fall that much.
Your oh so true and as I said in my comment if you look he thinks he's a gangster and soon if not already be money laundering he's lost a lot of respect from the Irish, much love from Dublin Ireland 🙏❤
probably a bit of both, some real nasty pieces of work can turn their lives around if they stay away from the wrong crowd, don't drink, and do some serious work on themselves. If they give into the temptations like McGregor has then a hellscape awaits.
@@rvp1 Will you remain who you are when the cash comes in? Or will you be who you truly are on the inside, its one or the other and we know whats happened here.
The thing we all loved about McGregor was his true rags to riches story. He often spoke about how he wanted to make enough money for him and his family to live happily and comfortably for generations to come. The irony in him destroying his reputation and his family along the way. Now his son will grow up and learn that his Dad was actually a disgusting human that couldn't control himself - cheating on the supposed love of his life, and assaulting elderly men in pubs.
You people are way too dramatic, he had a short lived career with some pick-me fights. He sold tickets and Americans are obsessed with loud obnoxious Irish people so he had that going for him. In the next few decades everyone will look back and basically realize how stupid the whole ordeal was.
Imagine all that fuss, flying out to new york and smashing the window on a bus, telling everyone that he's gonna "put a bad bad beating" on khabib.....and then got absolutely humiliated, he couldn't do a single thing to stop khabib from mauling him he looked like a beginner in the octagon against khabib it's the most embarrassing thing I've seen in mma so far
But so satisfying to watch. This is a humiliation Conor has never been able to deal with hence the years of delusions and insults. It really was Khabib that caused his downfall in every way.
The jealousy in these 3 comments. Khabib is unbelievable, to retire undefeated and to only ever loose one round (to Conor) was and is an unbelievable achievement. But these comments reek of jealousy and if men who have never accomplished anything.
When he was over him talking to him calmly knowing he had won. Imagine being the greatest being literally crushed on the biggest stage, embarrassed in front of everyone, knowing your biggest memory in the sport will be that of loser. Nah, Khabib took his all that was left. OP is right.
His integrity and legacy? Yes, thrown away. Looking at his Instagram though, doesn't look like he personally cares much and his finances definitely don't seem to be hurting.
Alcohol was his downfall. Every other addiction and poor choice were just spin offs from this one. A lesson there for all of us, especially the youth. You either give up everything for alcohol, or you give up alcohol for everything.
@@wilfredwayne7139 - The powder made it possible to drink even more. Few shots at home as an apéritif, a night at Club Fuse, more booze, the booze triggered all the rest.
He was a real man. As an Irish man I was always uncomfortable with Mcgregor representing our country. He is an embarrassment and his downfall was as predictable as it is deserving.
Bro imagine if he went up to welterweight and beat woodly & became a triple champ it would have been a good fight for him woodly was only 5.9 & Connor is a solid 5.9 maybe closer to 5.10 and put the weight on properly now that would of been amazing then try to defend at least one
People don't even realize this but Nate Diaz was the guy who first cracked Conor's mind. The loss to Diaz right after his historic victory against Aldo put a massive dent in his ego and image and it just spiralled out of control form there. A lot of people don't realize it and hink it was either Khabib or Dustin that cracked him, they just finished what the man prior started: Exposing Conor's frail ego and inability to truly accept defeat. It's no small wonder that he lashed out the way he did against Nikita Hand if the details testimony are that exact.
I disagree that it had much effect on his psyche, it was very short notice up two weight classes and without any bad blood. Pales into insignificance compared to the Khabib loss.
@@DanAddisonConor was in back to back camps then and yeh he didn’t train specifically for Nate but Nate basically overwhelmed him on the feet and made him shoot then he got badly beat and choked out,Nate wasn’t supposed to win at all as it was so short notice he barely had a camp and Conor was at his peak back then he seemed unstoppable and I think it definitely effected his mental state😂whereas everyone thought Conor had no chance against Khabib,it was his worst style matchup and Conor didn’t fight for 2 years while drinking heavily all the time😂it was a miracle it made it out the 2nd round, the Floyd money was the beginning of the end for Conor I think he’s barely even fought since
100% instead of learning from that loss he should of used it for motivation to never underestimate your opponent. All the greats in MMA that lasted went through this. Accept for JJ but we wont debate on that gong show.
Nah the Diaz loss made him more determined, it didn’t break him, just made him want to come back stronger. We saw he wasn’t broken after Nate with the performance he put on against Alvarez. The Floyd money started the real decline, Conor went off on a binge. Then Khabib finished what was left of the Conor of old
When Conor McGregor first emerged on the UFC scene you could feel a certain aura around him taking the torch and being the next big thing...When he called his shots you would almost believe it would happen and then it did...He became the King of the mountain...and then in a short matter of time he thought he could walk on water and the rest of us started to not believe anything he said...His fall from grace is legendary in its own right and it may not be over just yet.
No, many believed what he was saying and he was basically God of MMA world. Even after many allegations and antics, there's still some who defending him
Remember when Eddie alveraz said Conor is having two kids. One with his his fiancé and the other with another woman. The stories with these women have consistently been reported for the last 5 years.
@@Caynine17420 He doesn't have a wife, Dee is his girlfriend with 4 of his kids, if he did marry her she would have left him and took half of everything he has by now, instead the little tramp stays by his side no matter how much disgrace he brings to her and everyone around him. She's just as bad as him, saying shit about the girl Connor raped on twitter. Pair of scruffs
Sometimes there is a very fine line between confidence and delusion. The gift he had requires constant work to stay on top and stay humble despite how much money you make and unfortunately many men fall once they reach that height. He had many warnings to fix himself but he threw away all the opportunities because he is no longer hungry when he eats the best steak ever day. At some point the party has to stop and he has to mature in to an adult.
It seems like many fighters need some level of delusion to be successful. They have to believe they are better than everyone else (which is always a delusion, there is always someone better) or they’d never make it in the fight space.
Or confidence. If you aren’t confident in your ability to beat that person you have mentally lost half the battle. However you also have a valid point.
I remember, on the start of his career McGregor was a friendly humble guy. However, the more famous and wealthy he became, the more the devil grew in him and ruined his character. Even in a bar McGregor attacked an older man, shameful. He deserved the punishment of Khabib. McGregor can't even be a nail of Khabib.
people in Ireland had been claiming he was a hot head and this humble stuff was an act. guess back then he had the hunger for success. he got it and his essence got revealed
Connor truly had one of the biggest fall offs in the history of the UFC, went to Being the only simultaneous Double champion in the world to a ❄️ addict who is constantly having disgusting allegations against him. 👎
11:20 Just imagine if Conor had taken AbdulManap's invitation. There's a possibility he could have made peace with it all, get rid of some of the prejudice/bigotry. Oh well.......
14:40 I know it’s not about him but this is one of the many reasons why I’ve got so much respect for Floyd Mayweather. Even at the top he still pushed himself every day and never lost his hunger to be the best.
As an Irishman and long time fan of mma, I was delighted when McGregor entered the ufc. There was no one who could match him physically or verbally in the sport. I've long since been disappointed and disgusted with his behavior, he's become an embarrassment to Ireland.
You probably also heard the allegations back in 2019 that he'd raped that woman - it was the talk of the island. Then he carried on laughing it up, posing with dictator Putin, etc. I wonder if, as a civilly convicted rapist now, that will see him barred from entry to America etc.
Verbally? I've heard better talkers goofing on methadone discussing Spar chicken rolls at the back of the bus. He was and is a rambling, low-brow, embarrassing shite-talker. A tonne of confidence but not even an ounce of wit. Not a hint of linguistic art to the chap. Just a loudmouth. A cringeworthy one. 'Your ma!' Jesus. What a pathetic eejit.
Sadly, when you're standing centre stage to the world. Many forget to realise their countrymen are standing behind them. We have one such example here in Australia, not long ago crowned a God. Tho, she was far from it and made us look like a global joke. Today, fame has gone to her head. And the colours are starting to run.
@@piotrurbaniak6871 I'm guessing by her statement that she had "dealt with these issues many years before." Something in him rings true for her despite it all, but she has stated this is not entirely new.
This is why Mike Tyson quoted " When you're favoured by God, you're also favored by the devil". Conor had an incredible persona. Money and fame have systematically damaged his focus on his self-discipline and eventually he got defeated by his imaginary character and ego. He needs to start from zero again to overcome it. And if he still wants to pursue that, he must find the courage and reasons which made him start his this journey on the first place.
He's brain dead. You can't do UFC for more than 5 years, even if you're a teetotaller. He's been punched in the head 1000s of times and is currently hooked on coke. There'll be no come back. Even if he got clean, and got into shape before hitting 40, an amateur would wipe him out. He's fooked
The bad blood between Khabib and Conor did not start with Artem Lobov, it started with the UFC. McGregor was champion of the featherweight division and wanted to move up to a higher weight class. Keep in mind, he was extremely popular at the time because of his antics outside the octagon. On one hand he was winning fights in featherweight division and on the other hand, he had a way of making fights into a grand spectacle. People liked him because they felt that even if he talked a lot of shit about his opponent, at least he could back it up in the octagon. The man built a massive fanbase, and importantly, he was making Dana White a truly RIDICULOUS amount of money. But after conquering the featherweight division (145 lbs.) he wanted to move up to lightweight division (155 lbs.) which was the division Khabib was fighting in. And because Conor was so profitable, the UFC decided to back him. They kept scheduling him for fights where he was allowed the chance to win the interim belt and eventually the lightweight championship title, bypassing fighters in lightweight division like Khabib, who had never lost a fight, and was working for years towards the chance at winning the same title. To give added context the UFC had allowed McGregor to fight Nate Diaz, not once but twice! He had lost by submission the first time and instead of letting another fighter get to move past McGregor to fight for the title, they allowed him to fight Nate a second time, which he won by decision. And that fight in particular was very closely contested. The judges chose McGregor because by that time, he was UFC’s poster boy. This is where things started to take a turn, because UFC had originally scheduled Khabib to fight Eddie Alvarez (Lightweight Champion) in UFC 205 but after McGregor’s second fight with Diaz, they pulled Khabib’s contract and gave it to McGregor. Which rightfully pissed Khabib off and led to him and Conor to squaring off in a heated altercation backstage at the UFC 205 weigh-in and why Khabib went out of his way to publicly challenge Conor to a fight after his fight with Michael Johnson after that. (Check out a videos called: “Conor McGregor & Khabib Nurmagomedov altercation at UFC 205 weigh-ins” and “UFC 205: Khabib Nurmagomedov Octagon interview”) Khabib felt Conor was stepping on the chance that he'd worked so hard for all his life. It may not seem fair but what you have to understand is that because of McGregor's style and popularity, MMA had taken a turn for the worse. The fights were becoming less about who was the best and most deserving of a fight and more and more of a popularity contest to keep the UFC money-machine rolling. So, in a way, you can say that Dana White is to blame for pitting fighters against each other. That's why he wants to keep his hands clean with the feud between Conor and Khabib and called it some "Russian stuff". He knows he had a part to play in it. But the UFC is a business at the end of the day and pitting fighters against each other is a common practice, it’s what draws in the audience and makes them invested in a fight. This is literally why the UFC has pre-fight press conferences: fighters are encouraged to challenge each other and talk shit about each other in order to “sell” the fight and this is where Conor excelled. They also wanted to promote UFC 205 as a Champion vs Champion event, giving Conor the opportunity to become the first fighter to win the title in two different weight classes which he eventually did. But the thing was that, it was also a dramatic stroke of luck to pit Connor and Khabib against each other because personality wise, they are polar opposites. Think of it like something out of a comic book, Batman vs the Joker. Khabib is an extremely principled person. He is Muslim. He has a code of ethics which he adheres to most stringently and to him, MMA is sport that is about discipline and respect. He doesn’t trash-talk his opponents as much as tell them what he’s going to do in the ring and then executes it to a T. You can imagine that to someone like Khabib, who is a man of great faith, Conor is an abomination. He has no respect and no code-of-ethics. He is prone showboating and is more of a businessman than a fighter. Something to note is that before his fight with McGregor and after it, Khabib was and has always been, the most respectful of fighters. He would beat the shit out of his opponents in the ring but once the round was over, that was that. Trash-talk, disrespect and unhanded tactics just was not his way. Now, Conor was friends with a fellow Russian fighter named Artem Lobov. And after Conor and Khabib almost got into it backstage and Khabib openly challenged Conor to a fight, a video surfaced online of Artem talking a lot of shit about Khabib in Russian, basically Conor had used Lobov as a mouth-piece to bad mouth Khabib to his own country-men. That’s why Dana says “some Russian stuff was going on”. It wasn’t some Russian stuff, that shit was personal. Artem Lobov said that Khabib was a pussy and that he pulls out fights when he gets a little pain his ass and that Conor by-comparison never pulls out of a fight so who is the real chicken? He also said he would slap Khabib if he ever saw him anywhere but he changed his tune really quick after Khabib confronted him in the hotel. (Check out a video titled: “The reason Khabib Nurmagomedov slapped Artem Lobov (English subtitles)”) Khabib may not parade around with a Russian flag but he has a lot of national pride. That shit did not fly with him at all. This is where things started to get really wicked. Because after Khabib’s confrontation with Lobov, Conor attacked a bus that Khabib was on, with the rest of his team as well as other UFC fighters. Now personally? I think this was a massive publicity stunt. I think there was an agreement between Conor and Dana where Conor knew he'd get away with whatever he did as long as his actions were making the UFC a lot of money. There was too much of showmanship involved in that attack for me to believe that it was genuine. And Conor also never suffered any real repercussions for his actions even though the dolly he threw at the bus window injured other fighters (Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg) which caused them to miss their fights. The whole incident was caught of video and instead of using it as incontrovertible evidence to penalize Conor, the UFC used it to promote the fight between McGregor and Nurmagomedov. . (Check out: UFC 223 Embedded: Vlog Series - Episode 5) Conor was released on $50,000 bail, sentenced to community service for the assault charge and suspended from UFC for 6 months in which time, Khabib became lightweight champion after winning against Al Iaquinta. When he came back after his suspension is when the fight with Khabib happened in UFC 229. And well you know how that went. At the pre-fight press conference, which I urge everyone to watch in full, Conor called Khabib’s father a coward, tried to push alcohol on a man he had to know was a devout Muslim and insulted Khabib’s home in Russia, a place called Dagestan. After all of that, the fight was personal. Because if you do even the most minimal research into Khabib, you will know just how far over the line Conor had gone. First by attacking the bus, suffering no real consequences for it and then on top of that, insulting the three things that matter most to Khabib, his father, his religion and his country. That’s why I don’t understand how people were surprised that Khabib said “Let’s talk now!” while he smacked the ever-loving shit out of McGregor and then jumped out of the cage to beat up his team too. Conor tried to tell him “It’s only business” but to Khabib, it wasn’t. “Bismillah” that’s what he said when he stepped into the cage. That fight was a testament of his faith, a promise he kept to his father and recompense for the disrespect Conor threw at his father’s feet. Not only that, his legacy is one where he course-corrected UFC and brought MMA back to roots: of discipline, hard work and respect. So am I really surprised to see McGregor's crash-out after all the bad behavior over the years? The DUIs, cheating on his long time partner, assaulting women and old people? The guy was always a ticking time-bomb. He made an enemy out of Khabib when his real enemy is probably Dana White who enabled his volatile personality to benefit the UFC. I'm sure that all the money, alcohol and drugs that got thrown into the mix didn't help. There is even speculation that Conor is addicted to cocaine and that he is using steroids to fast-track the healing of his leg after his third fight with Poirier. Maybe if he wasn't so quick to judge him and insult him, Conor would realize he had a lot to learn from a man like Khabib. Edit: I found a translated Russian interview where Khabib explains why he thinks the attack on the bus was sanctioned. Check out: Khabib Nurmagomedov thinks UFC rigged the Bus Attack in NY, explained why he jumped over the cage
I have never respected McBegger from the beginning, my friends called me crazy but I told them he seems like a bad person who has nothing but an ego. Now they all agree.
he has no one to blame but himself, he still thinks hes championship level calibre and still think he deserves title shot matches but he is far from it
As we say here in Ireland, You can take the man out of the gutter, but you can never take the gutter out of the man. He's a corner boy, always was and always will be.
His story resembles the one of Scarface. He’s a real life Tony Montana. The man who wanted it all, who was hungry walking over the corpses with one goal on his mind, determined to give it all and lost his mind in the process. And we already know how this ends.
Remember him criticizing Jones for not just getting driver and staying out of trouble once he had so much money, and remember thinking will be interesting to see how he handles the money and fame as a young dude, because it brings out your true character. Man used to move in an inspirational way and it wasn't the whiff that rekt him, was the arrogance and ego. Acting above better fighter over ppv number, looking down on everyone like they cheap and he can buy them.
The darkest turning point in Connor's life was his humiliating beating by Khabib. Coach Kavanagh (Connors coach) was interviewed by Joe Rogan post-fight and said he had become dark. Khabib said Conor would never recover after that fight - he never has. His whiskey drinking, drug taking, sexual conquests, social media abuse (which results in him taking posts down from his own regret anxiety), multiple accusations of sexual assaults, beating of innocent people just escalated. He is the worst type of narcissist and his wife is the true victim of her own grace and trust.
His career is wildly successful. People really harp on him for retiring, but there was nothing wrong with his goal of making a colossal amount of money and then quitting with how much pressure, stress, and risk the sport carries. His character? That's a whole other conversation. The dude is clearly unwell, and there's a pattern between fame and exacerbating mental health issues. I imagine layers of alienation and a distorted way of navigating the world aint healthy. Admitting he has lost his mind, open about substance use, and living an entirely different persona from what we previously saw? If he was someone in our community (friend, family etc) it would all be seen as a cry for help. Obviously it doesn't excuse the shit he does, especially with the recent trials, but when famous people off themselves we act like its a big surprise when their crises is on open display and mocked on a global scale lol. I don't think people are either inherently good or bad, or he was some sort of intrinsically terrible person that money brought to the surface. His downfall really shouldn't be seen as an anomaly, or some moral failure as an individual. It should put fourth broader critiques of our culture that clearly produces this behavior related to fame/wealth. Clearly its not sustainable.
Conors actual career was complete when he said he'd do exactly what he did in the most impressive fashion we've ever seen... that's hold two simultaneous belts at once and become one of the richest fighters on the planet so his children's children and their children would never have to suffer and live a prosperous life. it's almost INEVITABLE and common that the very top combat sport and sometimes nba / nfl superstars go off the rails. but many come back better and more composed if they get the help they need (mental and / or drug wise). Tyson Fury and Mike Tyson are basically the best examples of the path he's following... now look at them.... his legacy and reputation can always be corrected if done genuinely. means he might have to suffer or just quit the fight game all together, but he 100% did what he said he would do wayyy before getting into the UFC. he called it down to almost the date...
Conor is how it'd go for people who win big on the lottery, totally destroy their life by removing all restrictions. People spending money they don't have to win something that would destroy them instead of buying a sandwich and filling their belly, so stupid.
Remember that Mike Tyson raped someone and went to jail. Had a massive downfall. People still adore the guy. I'm super bummed that Conor has turned out this way.
Think many people ignore the fact Conor changed a lot the more damage he received in the sport. He suffered a concussion in that floyd fight and it was all downhill from there. He even predicted his own craziness when he talked about losing his mind in the sport. It's a result most can't see and its so easy to just blame it on money and drinks
The clip about him losing his mind is legendary to me. After the Alvarez and Mayweather fights he’d achieved everything he wanted and not long later he lost his mind just like he said he would
I've dealt with many people of his ilk. They are friendly and 'likeable' when everything is going their way, but it doesn't take much at all for them to turn into aggressive/violent a'holes. Such is the way of lower-socios.
As bad as his reputation can be, he carried UFC to the top. Back in his prime (vs Aldo), I heard about connor first, then UFC. Then he did it again vs Floyd, my friend which is a boxing fans, now also MMA fans.
The title should've been "How Conor Mcgregor destroyed his legacy". He had a succesful career being the first double champion and richest fighter in mma.
Remember when conor was in his prime he said he would ko Jesus, insulted muslims, khabib, his dad and talking bad of people's wives, I would say it was all punishment from God. Pride hath a fall as they say. God's vengeance is not silent.
I always remember my Dear late Mother saying to me that God will never give u what u want, he'll give u what u need and this is the reason I think is behind the downfall of so many celebrities like Conor Mcgregor. They have far too much of what they want so they no longer trust in God.
It’s tough when someone you once admired lets you down. Conor’s peak from 2013-2016 was undeniably inspiring-his confidence, charisma, and ability to back up his words were unmatched. He made a lot of people believe in themselves through his unapologetic self-belief. It’s hard to see his legacy get overshadowed by controversies, but maybe it’s worth holding on to the version of him that inspired you. That era of his career and what it taught you about confidence and self-belief is still real and valid, even if the person has faltered since.
I have disliked this guy for so many years now, the arrogance on social media is beyond human. He can never seem or act like a normal human being. Also hates on other fighters even dou is the most successful.
Remember the remarks you made against the man implying he has bad character and always has. Life is never so black and white and you should not condemn when only reading headlines.
Money doesn't change who you are. It just makes you more of who you already were. There were reports early on in Conor's career of him being an awful person. Not to the extent of what we are seeing now.
@@Alexandre-j6d and that was bc artem got slapped, he got slapped bc he called khabib coward And before all that khabib trash taked mcgregor in ariel halwani interview Did you brain shut down or you didnt see the interwiev?
Okay so here's what I take away from this. Gentlemen what is the lesson to be learned regarding your life? Just because you may not have gone to the heights and fame and money of a Conor McGregor; doesn't mean that you can't have as regrettable a fall and end. I'm asking myself: so what are your demons? Are there hidden things in your life that would bring your reputation, as thin as it is, to the dust? What self delusions are you under? What are you self-medicating with? What sort of flimsy scaffolding of yourself worth and self-esteem are you building your life on? What is the fruit of your self-centeredness and ego? ... Guys we are not far, each one of us, from such a sad story, if we haven't already done so. There really is only one solution. An old fashioned word and concept; redemption.
No excuses here: success always showcases the truth. Mcgregor is a selfish, piece of shit, untrustworthy person… I hope he learns from his awful mistakes.
Conner has always been like that. The more successful he became the more he egoistic grew. He disrespected the families of the opponents he fought. The connor at the beginning of UFC was a different kind. If only he could've kept that humbleness with him he would've been the one of the greatest athletes to be ever born. But he decided to show of his power to everyone.
I agree with you Connor was talented and he worked hard to promote his fights and he has a good business head on his shoulders . I hope he an turn things around

Yeah this video did ramble on, could have been edited to 5 minutes and covered all the points.
I hear a man say once "The goal in life is to perfect your character, if you don't perfect your character, your character will destroy the places your gift took you." Conner is just one of countless men to rise to the top only to fall because their character was too weak to stay there. Let it be a lesson to the rest of us.
Bro thank you for this. Seriously. What a saying

The Floyd fight made him rich.
The vast majority of fighters never earn 7 figures, let alone 9 figures.
It's tough to be hungry when you have that much fame/wealth etc
The cocaine doesn't help either.
😂😂

The thing we all loved about McGregor was his true rags to riches story. He often spoke about how he wanted to make enough money for him and his family to live happily and comfortably for generations to come. There’s much to learn from Conor’s rise and fall, from inspiring to cautionary.
To people who don't need the lesson, it is not useful, and to people who need it, they won't learn it.
That fight epitomises ‘come uppance.’
The jealousy in these 3 comments. Khabib is unbelievable, to retire undefeated and to only ever loose one round (to Conor) was and is an unbelievable achievement. But these comments reek of jealousy and if men who have never accomplished anything.

THIS IS what happends when You sell Your soul to the devil
Yep the same goes for Nikita
(Check out a videos called: “Conor McGregor & Khabib Nurmagomedov altercation at UFC 205 weigh-ins” and “UFC 205: Khabib Nurmagomedov Octagon interview”)
Khabib felt Conor was stepping on the chance that he'd worked so hard for all his life.
(Check out a video titled: “The reason Khabib Nurmagomedov slapped Artem Lobov (English subtitles)”)
Khabib may not parade around with a Russian flag but he has a lot of national pride.
The whole incident was caught of video and instead of using it as incontrovertible evidence to penalize Conor, the UFC used it to promote the fight between McGregor and Nurmagomedov. .
(Check out: UFC 223 Embedded: Vlog Series - Episode 5)
Conor was released on $50,000 bail, sentenced to community service for the assault charge and suspended from UFC for 6 months in which time, Khabib became lightweight champion after winning against Al Iaquinta.

"The Brightest Of Stars Burnout The Quickest".
*sigh* , stars...
If you gonna try to be deep you should at least quote it right lol
Not really - the SA was in 2018/2019. Slow burner if you ask me

This is what happens when you think money and fame equals success
Conor is how it'd go for people who win big on the lottery, totally destroy their life by removing all restrictions. People spending money they don't have to win something that would destroy them instead of buying a sandwich and filling their belly, so stupid.
Remember that Mike Tyson raped someone and went to jail. Had a massive downfall. People still adore the guy. I'm super bummed that Conor has turned out this way.
Tyson never be tap gregor
Think many people ignore the fact Conor changed a lot the more damage he received in the sport. He suffered a concussion in that floyd fight and it was all downhill from there. He even predicted his own craziness when he talked about losing his mind in the sport. It's a result most can't see and its so easy to just blame it on money and drinks
The clip about him losing his mind is legendary to me. After the Alvarez and Mayweather fights he’d achieved everything he wanted and not long later he lost his mind just like he said he would
06:15 imagine you are working for dana, you get hurt in this stupid cocoine incident and he is laughing about that and is paying you minimum wage.
CTE likely played a big role in the lack of impulse control that you see on full display.
This is sad tbh, because when lucid, Connor seems to be such a likeable guy.
I've dealt with many people of his ilk.
They are friendly and 'likeable' when everything is going their way,
but it doesn't take much at all for them to turn into aggressive/violent a'holes.
Such is the way of lower-socios.
@BWater-yq3jx Hmm. Fair enough.

As bad as his reputation can be, he carried UFC to the top. Back in his prime (vs Aldo), I heard about connor first, then UFC. Then he did it again vs Floyd, my friend which is a boxing fans, now also MMA fans.
Connor McRapist indeed. Alhamdulillah for guy like Khabib setting an example to the world..
Conor played mind games. Khabib is from real mountain, there is no breaking that man.
The title should've been "How Conor Mcgregor destroyed his legacy". He had a succesful career being the first double champion and richest fighter in mma.
We will never get Connor Macregular back methinks 🙏🏽
We have a saying in boxing, "boxing doesn't build character, it reveals it."
Remember when conor was in his prime he said he would ko Jesus, insulted muslims, khabib, his dad and talking bad of people's wives, I would say it was all punishment from God. Pride hath a fall as they say. God's vengeance is not silent.
Lot of work gies into these. Good stuff mate
If some people grow up with domestic violence they think it is normal. Not me it's definitely despicable
Connor has a blackened heart. Connor is deaf, dumb, and blind. He’s going nowhere fast. He’s just a punk.
I always remember my Dear late Mother saying to me that God will never give u what u want, he'll give u what u need and this is the reason I think is behind the downfall of so many celebrities like Conor Mcgregor. They have far too much of what they want so they no longer trust in God.
Great writing and editing Leo!
making Khabib angry was a horrible idea lol
“Money doesn’t change you, it amplifies your character”- Andrew Tate. Not a big fan of tate but this truly shows the phrase is true !
I always felt the eddie fight was fixed.
Same bro.
Eddie didn’t mix it up at all and he beat prime RDA.
@SJG-pt4yp when he said "what was that" in reference to mcgregor punch. Sounded like we shit.
@@SJG-pt4yp He tried but failed
It’s tough when someone you once admired lets you down. Conor’s peak from 2013-2016 was undeniably inspiring-his confidence, charisma, and ability to back up his words were unmatched. He made a lot of people believe in themselves through his unapologetic self-belief.
It’s hard to see his legacy get overshadowed by controversies, but maybe it’s worth holding on to the version of him that inspired you. That era of his career and what it taught you about confidence and self-belief is still real and valid, even if the person has faltered since.
how "money" can ruin anyones career
Kabibs dad, what a man. Respect.
The moment he mocked our Redeemer and Saviour, Our Lord Jesus Christ, it was the beginning of the end for him.
Lmaooo "our"
Great edit and audio edit.

The way Conner react to Chaos after Khabib fight, its so respectful! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Sad to see it happen, but it was inevitable... Great video bro
Khabib is the greatest anyway, great fighter, humble, no stupid childish tattoos, a real Man
In another reality he could still be a plumber, cleaning toilets but instead achieved all of this. Imo hes won regardless
More respect being a humble plumber than a hasbeen rapist in my opinion. But hey, he is rich
False allegations must be prosecuted.
Well even the things not in the headline paint him as a bad person come back to reality
Money doesn't change who you are. It just makes you more of who you already were.
There were reports early on in Conor's career of him being an awful person. Not to the extent of what we are seeing now.
5:56 khabib very tough with 10 guys versus 1
Yeah I'm sure the undefeated MMA fighter isn't tough, its all an act. LMAO.
Especially funny bc khabib was the one who started the beef in the first place
Artem said he'd slap him everytime he sees him but cowered like a punk 😂
@@Alexandre-j6d and that was bc artem got slapped, he got slapped bc he called khabib coward
And before all that khabib trash taked mcgregor in ariel halwani interview
Did you brain shut down or you didnt see the interwiev?
Amazing video!!!!
No excuses here: success always showcases the truth. Mcgregor is a selfish, piece of shit, untrustworthy person… I hope he learns from his awful mistakes.
0:50 music?
Wait, what?
You have an interesting taste in music my friend!
Its giving me some The wolf among us vibes. I love it.

This is top tier content my man 🔥🔥, hope you never change this style
If she wasnt gunning for money, she was gunning for conor's image. She really said she didnt cheat on her husband like you serious? 😂
Maybe Connor done something bad but they were in a relationship.
She is lying about relationships part what i think but her husband should know his wife used by Connor 😊
Certain types of people getting fucked up, cheating on their boyfriends and claiming victim ... 🤣
mc nuggets ladies and gentlemen🔥
Connor is more comfortable in a court room than a cage these days and he’s also got quite familiar with losing in both scenarios
Still love him, never gonna bash him, he accomolished more then anyone of us
I agree with you Connor was talented and he worked hard to promote his fights and he has a good business head on his shoulders . I hope he an turn things around
You love him? You think he's your daddy or boyfriend?
Success is more important for ppl, than antics and behavior

That iconic fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov took place on October 6th, 2018 and not October 7th. It was October 7th here in India but where it took place (in USA), it was October 6th. October 6th is one date I cannot forget because it's also my birthday. LoL.
Damn! habib neck slapped artem in person then locked himself in an octagon and slapped the shit outta McRapey.
