I don't call it getting lost, I call it 'unscheduled scouting'
🤣 thanks for that, I'm gonna have to steal that from you for personal use!
@@wyatt_COTW no one ever wants to admit they get lost, right? Just sounds better
@@Intimidator82 😆 exactly! Fits perfectly!
I’m gonna use that for sure
I’ve grown up hunting Taylor’s island where sika deer started and I love it I’ve seen big mature sika stags chase away monster whitetail bucks every year they impress me more and more
They started on james actually ;)
The sound they make is exotic!
I really appreciate y’all including videos like this. Not just every perfect hunt where it ends in harvesting the ideal monster buck, but truly being able to capture “the hunt” Just a time of fellowship and spending time in God’s creation.
thanks for spoiling
@@n0489 lol your fault for reading comments first
I’ve grown up on the eastern shore hunting deer love seeing it get hunted and people showing it’s pure greatness
I have to share. I took my first shot on a doe tonight. I was shaking like a stripper and i took the shot while she was trotting at 35 yards. I only have a 10 and 20 pin set. I couldnt stop shaking and i got tunnel vision to the point where my peripheral vision was white. After the miss i assumed a buck would walk through after. He did at even more out of range and i didnt bother risking that shot. Even though i missed low under the chest of the doe, I can now say I get it. Im earning some discipline and I plan on having a deer on the ground soon.👍
Im a born and raised shoreman. That place your hunting was built by Paul Tudor Jones, the son of Dow Jones. Yes the stockmarket guy lol. He had it as a getaway for him and his buddy's to go hang out at. He's the reason why cambridge has an airport just a few miles from there. He had it for sale for 30 million about 10 years ago. I always wondered what happened to the place. Those were some decent stags yall saw!

It's like somebody ignored the instructions and instead of line drying their elk, shrunk them in the dryer by mistake! 👍👍👍👍😁😁
Baby Elk so cool to hear the calling, never expected that.

Can’t believe Drew passed that stag on the first night and didn’t say a word about it (until later in the vid). We were like why are they just watching it? That thing was yuge!
Welcome to the shore, I was down in Georgia earlier this year! Awesome to see you guys taken advantage of one of our hidden gems. Sika eat great and are fun as hell to hunt. We have 80 acres down there and I can’t seem to enjoy whitetail hunting nearly as much anymore, we see 10-15 Sikas for every whitetail.
Lee’s orange “Cat” hat is amazing!!! It’s such a VIBE!!!
That's awesome.. I grew up hunting those swamp ninjas and I miss it. My first deer kill was a solid 2x2 Sika when I was 14. They'll sneak right up on you and belt out a bugle that makes the hair on your neck stand up, especially once the sun sets.
Just shot the biggest 8 pointer of my life and watching this as I’m waiting for it lol
Congrats hopefully you can get yours hands on it soon
niiiiice
Awesome!!
The quality of these videos are insane.
Hey yall in my territory. Welcome to MD hope u had fun and P.S. Eastern shore MD (mainly Dorchester, Queen Anne's, Kent, and Cecil counties) are in the top 15 for largest bodied deer and top 10 for largest natural(wild or non ranch) racks. I killed a 16 pointer 2 years ago that dressed 235 lbs and weighed 320lbs not gutted. The deer scored 201 3/5 inches and had a spread of 28 inches. Rut bucks are giant with huge necks like mule deer and are built like prized bull fighting bulls. I highly recommend hunting here p.s. Wicomico county currently has the record deer score of 218 1/4 inch rack. . .
So I hope to see the Seek One boys out in the MD fields and in our trees, slingin arrows and slockin big ones.
Here in garrett contie I found my target deer last year dead 14 pts if I scored it right 138 3/8 and I have a big 8 on the wall I can post a vid off but idk how much it scores
AMG I'm an eastern shore boy from Wicomico County. We got some big boys running around here. Definitely a hidden gem of hunting land. There's around 21,000 public acres in to Wicomico County. Nice opportunity here. Just don't come if your a baltimoron 🤣
@@mattlewis9725 couldn't have put it better myself. Damn morons gonna try and build a bridge to my county Kent which would allow the anti-hunting libtards into my area and try to disrupt the lawful harvesting of a wild animal.
I have lived in Maryland all my life. This is something I have always wanted to do.
So glad to have y’all in Maryland
This is why I love y’all’s channel because you still show us when you fail/ don’t get anything 😁😁😁 keep posting
I just thought I'd comment and say how amazing your videos are dude everyday after work and when I wake up in the a.m. I just scroll down to every hunting video I haven't watched and they just make my day and teach me so much. I wanna thank you guys and keep grinding!!!
Dude that’s awesome! Hunting an old young life camp! I’ve made an amazing connection at young life and through hunting so it’s cool to see it come full circle
Can’t win them all guys I still watched this all the way through and so did my friends. It’s just beautiful out there and you have to take it in. You guys are blessed with this job. Hold your heads high. Love you guys❤️
That is so awesome! I know where that place is! One of our family friends had a wedding there a couple years ago in June and we got to fish the ponds. The lodge and everything are amazing! Would love to see you guys next time you’re in MD! Good luck the rest of the season!
As always, such a great video! Looks like a wonderful experience!
Definitely a bucket list hunt!
Clicking like for the opening bugles! Epic. Can’t wait to watch the rest!!
They really look like small elk. That type of deer is in my list for sure. Thanks for the awesome content
I think Steve Rinella did an episode about these on meat eater I've never seen anyone else hunt them! Another great video from seek one!
Excellent production fellas. Love chasing those little guys. The only obsession that even comes close to turkey hunting for us.
Hi your videos are awesome it’s like a tv show. You inspired me to get into hunting more too

The video was awesome. I just came back from Eastern Maryland hunting Sitka Deer. It was hard hunting. I'm going back to try to get one. Keep up the awesome videos.
Sweet stuff guys!! Love sika hunting!!
Great job showcasing our hidden secret. Probably one of the hardest diy public land hunts east of the Mississippi river.
What a cool hunt boys! Nicely done!
No lie, at first I though you all where out Elk hunting. Such a cool animal and thank you guys for sharing your hunts with all of us. God bless and keep up the good work.

On a sidenote: After seeing your reactions to these deer, I would love to get yall out west to hunt elk in the peak of the rut.
Hunted those deer for years, they are not stupid by any means. Hope you enjoyed the Eastern Shore!
Love the price tag still on the inside bill of the orange Cat hat that you had to buy! LOL! Looks like something that I'd do!
I’ve fished that farm never was allowed to hunt . But it is the most beautiful place on earth. What did you think of the lodge? That place is heaven on earth
Super cool video looked like a very fun hunt.
Man this is prolly the coolest thing i’ve seen since meat eater was down there. that is just down the road from me. please come back. and come to trappe man and hunt our bigass white tails

The Reed canary grass that you pointed out in the beginning has a very interesting property to it, look it up if your interested.
God bless you and your families.
I live in somerset county Maryland, we have sika here. They aren't as thick as in blackwater but they are around. Sika is challenging and addictive.
On my bucket list
They are so much fun to hunt.
Love your videos best on UA-cam

Started hunting them in the '70s, back when the DNR was trying to eradicate them.
Even before the internet, 1/2 of PA was showing up down here. Much, much worse now. 87% with a GoPro on their head, lol.
This ain't helping.
Nicely filmed!
It’s damn near impossible for us locals to hunt public anymore
@@ieattwix
No different than Colorado elk.
No different than Iowa whitetails.
Y'all have a species of animal that cannot be hunted really anywhere else in North America. what do you expect?
On top of that, your DNR is getting massive influx of non-resident tag fees and SHOULD be putting it back into the local wildlife communities.
@@VigAdventures some free range sika herds in TX hill country. Escapees from high fence ranches years ago
@@VigAdventures
Massive?
Hell the Pennsylvania Navy is here all summer crabbing, for just a few bucks. Nonres SHOULD be higher, and yet...
Dude they sound majestic
They look awesome, I hope you get the invite back! I'd like to see you both get one.
Wow, what a place. I grew up not too far from there. That one stag I'd guess was pushing 8+. I just figured he was out of range.
Love the Cat hat!
I saw the Instagram post and had to come check it out
Omg man. You were around my area. Wish my son could have meet you. He’s a future hunter and a big fan of your channel.

I have hunted them on the eastern shore in Virginia through a raffle drawing. Fun but difficult hunt.
That’s awesome
BRO TUDOR FARMS IS AN AMAZING PLACE! I went there over Memorial Day weekend with a group of family friends to fish and have fun. We rented the place out. One of the best experiences of my life, really cool to see how the control the duck hunting and deer hunting areas there. Did some 5 stand shooting in the same woods you hunted in. Actually drove right by the house you started at on a field tour. I had a feeling you were hunting there when I saw the first minute of the video!
The views of the eagles from the mansion were impeccable! Would love to talk to you more about your experience there 🙂
You could certainly do some urban hunting in Montgomery and PG counties for some Giant Whitetails as well.
8:20 thats a monster stag
Really like those tree stands! Wish i could afford one!

I never thought you guys would be in Dorchester lol. Tudor farms is a great spot for sika. It’s about a 10 min drive from my house too lol

I’m my hometown 🤘🏻🤘🏻love you see it
Young life recently bought a camp called Lonehollow in the Texas Hill country. Yall should do a Texas miniseries.
Didn’t know y’all were that good at tennis
We didn’t either
Can yall make a video testing if it makes a difference if you use the same broad head multiple times
No way yall were in maryland i would have loved to meet you guys thats so awesome
ik everyone says stuff like this but it is my actual dream to hunt sika, like if i had a bucket list it’s near the top. just such beautiful, different animals and i will find a way to get it done sometime in my life. i have to.
“Miss” “miss” *SMACK* “not a miss” 😂
This reminds me of Steve Rinella and the MeatEater crew hunting that same place on their show. They sound so cool & amazing. Such a cool place, exceptional hunt for amazing animals & great food. The sitka deer taste so damn good, may be one of if not the best wild game meat in the country, if not the best definitely top 3! Great video & hunt. An indoor 3D and virtual/projection archery shooting range would be awesome in a place like that!
The Meat Eater crew started out with archery and switched to muzzleloader. Also, I thought they hunted the Nature Conservancy property. Either way, I would sell all three of my grown kids off just to be able to hunt that place, I normally Sika hunt down at Fishing Bay. WMA
@@engineco622 yah it looks like an amazing time & hunt especially for being where it is. I think the MeatEater guys hunted private property that was leased to the guy who took care of/managed and studied the sitka deer population for the wildlife officers ect. Such a cool hunt & animal! Living in Connecticut it'd be a dream to drive the couple hrs to there and fill a tag or two, get some blue crabs & some stripped bass and snakehead fishing!
@@C-24-Brandan yeah, the guy that brought them in runs a hunting club that holds the lease for the Nature Conservancy. They control a couple thousand acres in SW Dorchester county. I hunt Sika a couple times a year on public land in western Dorchester, mainly muzzleloader and rifle. If you ever want to hunt 'em, holler at me, I'm only 2.5 hrs West, just NW of DC
@@engineco622 Yeah it was a really cool episode. Before that I never knew you could hunt sitka deer like that in the states nvm In Maryland yeah that'd be awesome, it's actually one of my "dream" hunts. Everything about it from location, terrain & how insanely cool they sound and look. How incredibly good they taste is just a bonus. For me I'd say it's like 4-5 hrs away if I drive or took train I'm guessing.
@@engineco622 do you hunt them with a bow, muzzleloader or rifle?
You make some of the most high-quality vids on youtube
