    Hence it uses non consumable electrode , does any external filler rod is needed ? If not how two work pieces are joined , after getting the weld pool ? by applying pressure ?

    • @mechanicalnexus
      @mechanicalnexus  2 роки тому +1

      Yes...!! External filler rod needed for weld in Atomic Hydrogen Welding.

      As you said in video that tungusten electrodes are non consumable because their melting point (3400°c) is way higher than wedling temperature ( 2000°c) . But as you said during association of H+ ions the temperature produced is in between (4000°c -5000°c ) , hence this association temperature is way higher than the melting point of tungsten electrode (3400°c) , will this association Temperature effect the electrode ??

    • @mechanicalnexus
      @mechanicalnexus  2 роки тому

      @@krcbr dear... Association of hydrogen atoms happened out side the tungsten electrode zone... It mean the 4000-5000 temperature produced outside the arc zone... So tungsten electrode safe 😊
      Only dis associated of Hydron is done near tungsten electrode.

    Sir pls cover heat flux in all types of welding and welding temprature of all welding such as gas welding has 2500-3500°c temprature and heat flux is very low 100-1000w/cm'2

    • @mechanicalnexus
      @mechanicalnexus  3 роки тому +1

      In atomic hydrogen welding flux is not required because unused hydrogen react with oxygen in air and form water H2O, which is quickly vaporised due to high heat. So H2 act as flux also.

      @@mechanicalnexus sir iam talking about values of heat/area in all types of welding like leaser welding has highest heat/area generated 10^8above w/cm^2

    Sir s/c hardness increase means rapid cooling na and in ferrous material carbon contain increase krna but how to increase s/c hardness with the help of hydrogen atom welding because there is neither carbon contain nor ra pid cool here exothermic process i.e increase temprature of base metal

    • @mechanicalnexus
      @mechanicalnexus  3 роки тому +1

      In Atomic hydrogen welding, hydrogen (in atomic form) would form on the surface of the zirconium cladding and diffuse into the cladding wall and react with the metal to form stable zirconium hydrides which provide strong hardness.
