I enjoyed this. I think that I have ignored fairy opal for too long! Do you think that fairies might come after me for ignoring their opal? They are brutal (so I have heard). I have a large chunk of it or at least that's what I think it is, but it just appeared in my lab .... all by itself. Maybe fairies put it there? In fairness, I really should do a video about fairly opal. (that was FAIRNESS not Fairieness)
Incredibly hard to get a good polish on fairy. You need to oil treat and then foil wrap and into a hot fire/kiln (oven not hot enough), then stabilise with starboard thin/cactus juice etc, then cut, then seal, then dry cut. Really tricky business to get right even if you know how. The fairy keeps her secrets!

Many thanks for your support mate. The grading I do takes a lot of time, and makes it so I end up throwing to the garden a lot of the colourless potch that most will sell on as low grade opal. I should probably highlight this in a future vid, thanks for the reminder!
