Wow, I can't believe in today's world we still get that few that can't say anything positive. Who cares how old, it was my first time seeing it. It was still a stunner
The values on gems like this are always inflated. While gold has a market value, opals and other gems are only worth what a buyer is willing to pay. Why don’t you start talking about money after the stones have been sold and stop putting phony values on them. It’s getting old.
What I don't understand is why the miners don't learn to cut. If they do the cutting in the off-season and sell direct to the end customer, they cut out the buyer and the cutterand the retailer and very likely double or triple their income.
@@fightfiend Fair enough, but it traps them in a cycle of low returns - most of them seem to live hand-to-mouth and never achieve the financial independence that would justify such brutal working conditions. There's a documentary somewhere on UA-cam about a family of miners who do their own cutting and retail direct to end users. They were pretty prosperous compared to most, so it can definitely be done.
Why are you showing this aqain. We all know it did not happen three weeks ago. Are you showing someone else's hard work? If you are please report your own stories.
Install a tensioner and lengthen the chain. Makes the process much quicker then installing or reinstalling the chain. Not to mention you can re tension the chain so it doesn't slept off in the future
Aussie Gold And Opal Hunters channel is like when i was 5 and rewatched the same videos over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...

They need fast profit to pay for diesel, leases and machinery.

So old click bait
Why not sift it as you're putting it in the trucks? Just means building the frame so the trucks can park under it.
Stunning opal!
Sweet KUDOS congratulations ❤❤❤

Why can’t you add a idler gear sprocket to that?
Absolutely stoked for these guys
You won’t get 39 tons in a mixer
Big sprocket first how many push-bike chains did you ever do that way ,none just making life hard!

*So it doesn't slip off
"But then you wouldn't have the drama of equipment breaking down", screams the producer.

...would it be possible to use some sort of radar or sonic waves and sweep the area looking for anomalies ? (just guessing )
No. The layers are known, seams are followed.
Wouldn't work. All it would show is rocks
Fake show. Such a shame to lazy Auzis to bring up the Opal price bubble by unreal shows like this.
