Sara & Keren still look amazing after all these years! I've been following all the publicity surrounding their new CD/DVD and Hit Factory show in a few days! My new Pete Waterman 2-CD set is on it's way, and the new Bananarama CD/DVD comes next week..........YES!!!
They always looked like they were having a lot of fun in their vids and their live performances. & they had a lot of sass too.
They both look absolutely stunning at 49 and 48!!

They haven't aged! They suit any style, the punky sort of 80's style they started out with, right down to classy and sophisticated as they are today.

They are far hotter-looking now than back in the '80s - the difference between youthful attractiveness and a far more mature-looking beauty. No doubt they took great care of themselves!

I'm sorry but you're wrong. Sara Dallin's birthday is 17 December 1961 making her 50 years old. She will be 51 in December. This information is readily available from many sources, including Wikipedia.

Keren, the biggest fan of SAW, she made out of a cool, creative, alternative and highly successful girl group, a mediocre pop duo, running for years after a top 40 hit

+Marta Mutti They were a trio back then, but now they're a duo. Siobhan Fahey was the original member. She left Bananarama in the late '80's to marry Eurythmics member, David A. Stewart. They replaced Siobhan with Jacquie O'Sullivan after their 1987 LP Wow! was released. After their album "Pop Life" was released in 1991, she left also and Keren and Sara are officially a duo.
I can see your really young so will let you off, But at same time they have mentioned over the years what happened to Siobhan and that she formed the successful duo- Shakespears Sister which had many hit singles and albums from 89-1993
So if someone gets married they leave a band what a silly thing to say you forgot to mention Shakespears Sister -You also said they replaced her after their album Wow was released in 1987-WOW! is the fourth album released in September 1987-Her last performance with them was at The Brit Awards in 1988
Bananarama were really moody to work with in the studio and were described as a royal pain in the ass...lol. They were given some really well written songs like Venus ect..Taylor Swift was Sony's youngest paid songwriter aged just 14 yrs old who then went on to write all her own music whilst turning down Sony's contracts of a sure thing because the songs they wanted her to sing were not the sounds she had in her own head. Taylor went onto write Fifthteen which is a popular music masterpiece and better than what Sony had as paid senior songwriting which is just very unique and rare ability. Bananarama had very good songs written for them with Mike Stock ect...so I never understood why they would be grumpy about this opportunity even just to have the chance to be listened to in the first place. I have set myself the challenge to write 8 songs this yr in popular music to see if I can come up with good tunes keeping them simple sounding and hoping for good melodies. I am not great at words so I may be asking for help with lyrics. I will be writing on guitar and keyboards just humming melodies to chords drawing on inspiration from The Beatles, Brian Wilson Beach Boys fame and popular music that is simple. I need to get hold of some recording software to connect to my laptop with a cheap mic and just 16 tracks. I would love to collaborate with someone else to bounce ideas off because my way would probably be hum melodies over chords rather than have a title for a song or map out what the song should be about, find lyrics and then put a melody around it this way. Songs can come about in many ways but I find melodies and chords easier than going in at other angles. I like to copy say a Beatles chord chord sequence then disregard the melody and start a new melody altogether. Everyone does this I believe because there really isn't a new though or an original thought anyways. I have written many instrumental tunes before because I find this very natural but a song which is sung to be a very different discipline to a melody guitar lead or solo part:)
