If you go back to the rooftop scene (also on UA-cam), you will see Chihiro throw all the pages into the air. Renji catches a page, the one with the photo on it. If you watch carefully, you can see Chihiro take the page from Renji and fold it into a paper airplane, then she throws it off the roof too. I had the same confusion the same time I saw the scene but it's clearer now. The plane I suppose has been flying for quite a while...
