He hasn't changed a single bit, his DJ sets have slowed down a bit but he's still the same really nice really ordinary fella that he looks like in this video. His DJ sets are now a musical journey rather than a full on club DJ set, and I love that, more power to him.
It was sitting in a cupboard for all these years , I even got a flyer and cut out the sugar sweet logo for the front and side lol - so much atmosphere on these nights - miss it
I was there that night as well and had forgotten about him playing oasis!!!!! There was nowhere else like it and I am sad to say there never will be again!!! Have been having mad flashbacks ever since I watched this, Thank you for the nostalgia trip!!
Ps, it does also remind me of a joke that was doing the rounds at the time, "what is the difference between God and homer?? God doesn't think he is a DJ"😁😁😁
Belfast boy at his best long time gone and the man is still the same sa he always was from his art college days met him two Christmas ago in Belfast and he still stoped to talk fair play 👍
Inspirational. I wonder did he ever think that 20 years later he'd be producing an album for Noel Gallagher as he dropped 'Some Might Say' at midnight! Tune!
There is no doubt Homer was top notch and with white doves he took you to places that will never be seen again BUT to me McCready was miles better!!! One of the best nights ever in the art college was Laurent garnier!! Especially when he dropped the jungle version of the fugees "ready or not" it gives me goosebumps thinking about it all these years later!!! As the old motto goes , in your hearts not in the charts!!! Or does anybody remember one night the fire alarm being set off (by McCready) and then being turned off and the crowd shouting to get it turned back on and when it was, it got a better reaction than any of the tunes being played?? Ah the good old days!!! Bloody glad I was part of it!!!
Man has this guy ever come a long way and gone there on very little ( as most DJ culture ) since these days spinning house... If you really want to imagine helming people's evenings IMAGINE actually PLAYING your own compositions through a more direct interface such as a musical instrument as you steer the mood of the evening towards....?!?
"...In every different genre of music there is substance..."
Spot on. A true music fan doesn't limit him/herself to genres.

Absolutely class watching this, Holmes' Sugar Sweet parties in the art college sound legendary
What a lovely guy. I always imagined he was some sort of west coast gent with cool shades and a hummer. This is a gorgeous revelation
Been looking for this for years. Remember him playing the old Mandela hall at queens in belfast. Amazing techno back in the early 90's.
awesome , those hard techno tracks were nasty :)
magic. I had this on video years ago but lost. Thanks for uploading... I love this!!!

I was lucky enough to see David @ Lakota in 1995! Very talented musician! I love Funky Techno so much!
