Thank, your video is very useful, and I am using Bharatfiber, and same thing happen router provided by BSNL brand name is Uniway, was not worked properly disconnect my internet at every 10min. But in my city BSNL service is good and when I book complaint they replace my router with syro tech. And now I have seamless service.
In Kolkata the BSNL is providing DIGISOL router.

Mera pas SITI Fiber ka connection hai jis me ek simple as u showed chota ONU ke sath TP-Link Archer C6 dual band router laga rakha hun. Isse pahle bilkul he third class Railwire ka FTTH tha, so ohe log Syrotech ka ek faltu single band ONU cum Router diye the, jo ki bad me kharab he ho gaya!! IndiaMart ka experience mujhe sahi mila tha, oha se rk local banda se contact hua tha jo ki ghar me ake Syrotech ka dual band lagake configure kar dega bola tha.

I use a local fiber ISP (and their ONT router) but I want to go with the first option since I have my own router. My question is what does the technician configure when they first setup the connection in my home? Will the sasta ONU just plug-n-play work with the WAN port of my personal router?

BSNL customer ko apna ont/onu select krneka option deta hai. Jio airtel aisa nahi krte. Our jyadatar syrotech aur optilink use krte hai aur wo ab stable hai. Aur customer service bhi achhi hai.

Maine abhi BSNL ka Fiber connection liya hai or mai apna purana DBC ka router he use kar rha hun jo mujhe mere purane internet provider se mila tha but maine notice kiya ki meri download usage is around 137 GB last month which is fine but upload usage is around 2200GB even though i use for youtube streaming and general office work and now, even though i have 1000GB FUP plan still it is not sufficient. would you pls suggest where could be the issue due to which i'm having high upload usage?

5:10 yehi do setup Railtel Broadband ne diya hai, actually sirf syrotech ka onu hi diya hai aur C6 router mene kharid liya amazon se, i think ye best hai rather than hybrid set-up lene se. Agar kabhi wifi router kharab ho jae toh me atleast dusra backup router phatapat laga sakta hu but agar hybrid wlaa kharab ho gaya toh gaya kaam se

I have two setup of Syrotech onu + router (Tplink c60 dual band) from two different ISP. One is BSNL and one is Railwire. Since I opted for 100 mbps speed so full fledge single band router is of no use, as they can give max 40-50 mbps speed. You need a good dual band router to get 100 mpbs speed. SO its a very good idea to go for 800-900 INR ONU and get any good dual band router upto 1500 to 2000 INR, so overall in around 3000 INR your setup get completed.
