The hide would be perfect for me to capture the local wildlife in Perthshire. We are very lucky to have a good population of red squirrels here, they’re my passion. It’ll enable me to get the shots of the youngsters that I struggled with last year. Also it would be ideal come spring to get some fantastic shots of nesting birds. It’ll save me from hiding behind trees from great spotted woodpeckers!
Very nice, Perthshire is such a nice part of Scotland! Good luck to you :)
Thanks for all your videos Espen. I just pulled the trigger on a V+. I've been looking for good photography hides after years of using hunting blinds.
Awesome! Best of luck :)
Really great video... I'm looking forward to your next video.
Thank you very much :)
How about adding a right angled viewfinder to make low level shooting a little easier?
Yeah the more photography I do on ground level the more I'm thinking of getting one, would save my neck :)
I'm a young wildlife photographer and I would like to photograph roe deers, other mammals and birds with this amazing hide ! I hope I will be lucky...
Sounds good! Best of Luck :)
Brilliant, Enjoyed your video very much thank you.
Hi Espen, I really like your videos.
Regarding photography and technical explanations of your Tragopan products.
And with the sincerity you talk about them.
I am waiting for you to have the Tragopan v6 3 doors in stock. And also, all its accessories.
Congratulations!
I like to use it to get closer to eastern marsh harriers without disturbing them as they congregate to roost.
Haha just found your video, I'm using the same stuff (tent, chair, even the 100-400). Nice shot :)
Kisuke Shitsuke nice one 👌🏻
Hi, my main passion is Bird Photography but just recently ive had a number of encounters with some local Deer and id love a hide to get me closer to them and start taking some great pictures as im a bit limited at the moment with only a 300mm lens.
Sounds like a hide would be a great help! Good Luck :)
Great video, been shooting grey squirrels recently as the cost of hiring a red squirrel hide is prohibitive. Enjoying your presenting style and easy going manner and it goes without saying your images are very good. Happy to subscribe 👍
Thank you very much for the positive feedback :) I know what you mean about squirrel hides, can get costly - I much prefer setting it all up myself with my own hide. Your images will also get a lot more variety in them that way :) As you mentioned the paid hides, I've also made a video where I photograph jumping red squirrels with no hide in case that's of interest to you: ua-cam.com/video/1LAQHCbmAKI/v-deo.html.
First of all great video. I am a beginner wildlife photographer. I say beginner. I've been shooting I guess for about 7 months now. I would love to have a tragopan hide. Im not using anything right now besides the ghille suit I made. I had a hide but it was a cheap one I bought off Gregs list and the wind just tore it up. Anyway, wish me luck. Thank you for the work you do. Your photography and videos are inspiring.
Thank you very much for that Benjimen! Only 7 months in and you've already made a ghillie suit? that's impressive :) Good luck!
I would use the hide for taking shots of the kingfishers because I just love them (it's almost impossible to get them without a hide) 😂. And of course for buzzards and other birds of prey😉😄
So true! Best of luck :)
I photograph a variety of birds in Malaysia, and the frame of my trusty old pop-up hide recently snapped, leaving me hideless! My plan is to photograph some Manchurian Reed Warblers which are wintering in a small reed bed near my home. The species is classed as globally Vulnerable, and the Malaysian wintering population was discovered only a few years ago.
That's interesting, definitely need a hide so not to disturb such a vulnerable species! Best of luck :)
Hi Dave, A nice project...let see if you get lucky for this one, otherwise we can find a deal and I can pass one to James Eaton at the next birdfair that he can pass to you later once back in Malaysia:-) Jonathan
ME ENCANTAS LOS HIDES DE TRAGOPAN
Thanks Julio! :)
Hi ! I photograph wildlife and nature in France from more than one year and I always used camouflage net. I have really good results but the problem is that animals (roe deers and others) often see me so it disturbs them... A tragopan hide could be an awesome solution ! Moreover I would like to photograph badgers and foxes in front of their burrows this summer so a blind is better not to disturb them and to have some great behaviors !
(I don’t have Fb so I can’t share it...)
Thank you for yours videos 😉
Yeah, a hide definitely helps to stay more hidden than just a camouflage net! Good luck in the competition :)
For sure ! On top of that I’m currently trying to photograph some owls and it’s really difficult not to be seen by them, I have to be far from them...
(You can see some of my wildlife pictures on my Instagram account : antoine.crkt)
See you soon for the result of the giveaway in the new video

@@SuperTragopan Thank you 😁
Great stuff! I need a Tragopan hide , wish me luck :)
Cheers, good luck Eduardo :)
@@SuperTragopan Thanks so much 🤞 😊
Why would I like the hide? (1) Lets be honest it's free and nothing beats free!! (2) Where I live in Greece due to the mostly hot climate there are no natural lakes/waters where you can photograph birds but we do have two man made Reservoirs and as man made and hot weather there is very little vegitation near the waters edge mosty rocks and big bouders so you just cannot get close enough to take images of the birds as well as on occasions the deer that come down to drink so a hide that is small and light weight would fit the bill. Thankyou. Russ.
Good reasons :) Best of luck!
With the hide I would like to photograph sparrow hawks :)
Nice! Good luck :)
