Biden’s goal is aid for Palestinians and a two party state . Israel government is an extreme right wing so it’s hard to find common ground or have influence them. Israel has been attached from all sides since 1947. Before that 5 million were murdered. Innocent lives have been lost for far to long. America is not the power broker but through many administrations tried to find common ground for both side. The Middle East is full of bad actors destroying past efforts. I'd hardly call it pouring. The USA has sent like 20x as much to Israel over the past 2 years. Sales to Taiwan are about 400-500M USD a year, while the actual military aid is valued at 80M USD. Meanwhile, Israel gets a baseline 3300M USD a year, plus occasional gifts and a good deal of the Pentagon's black budget goes to finance "unsanctioned operations" especially against Iran, though they further some of these cyberFer companies from over there
It doesn't and isn't the aim. The aim is to protect the security and social and economic system of Taiwan. At the same time, however, the US wishes to maintain friendly relations with China. These aims are obviously in some conflict.
