In an scp lore, members of the scp team went to an abandoned scp site. One of the members was going down the stairs well when black ooze was crawling onto him, luckily his teammates pulled him out but his legs were cleanly cut off, no pain though and he could still walk normally. In an interview he says he can still feel his original legs and something fuzzy brushing up them. That's josie
After I heard that story and learned of the ooze transporting things to another dimension but acting like it is still in our dimension then Josie should be able to start floating to the height that she would be while standing on her hind legs.

People who write SCPs: we've got a unkillable death lizard that hates all life. A concrete sculpture that moves only when it's not being observed and gives fatal chiropractic neck adjustments. The cross-section does not display the interior of the animal, but appears pure black to the eye, and absorbs all non-visible wavelengths of light. It is slightly yielding to the touch. Gentle stroking of this area sometimes yields a positive reaction (purring and so on) but more usually leads to the creature turning on the agent, claws at the ready. Those scratched have experienced no abnormalities.
The hind regions do not appear to be invisible - a cursory examination will show that there are no hindquarters. DNA testing has shown the animal to be female.
I remember another scp in which a member of the MTF immersed his legs in a strange liquid and they became invisible and immaterial, although he could still walk. When asked what he felt he said "it felt like a cat was rubbing his legs".
