When I pinch my layers together for the first set of cut outs (~16.30) all my colours change, do I have a setting set wrong?
Same thing happening to me!
I had the same issue merging the shadows with the hills. At 16:45, all the layers get merged. This fixed it for me.
Change the layer mode from M (multiply) back to N (normal). Your merge has picked up one of the shadow layer FX.
thank you for this! i use an ipad mini and there was no way i could fit the whole list of layers on the screen, even when i reduced font size. and all my colors were changing-thanks to the commenter who said to change M back to N! 💜

Only the moon thing dint work for me . Can u please guide me . The mask over the moon is not getting completely transparent

15:57 I’m not able to erase that little line at the left of the screen
So when merging the blurred layer and the main layer it turns transparent? Not sure what happened cuz its not happening with all of them. Mainly happened while doing the second set of hills
If you have enough layer space, I’d suggest to just not merge them, or try combining a different set of layers (leave the bottom one of the layers you are trying to merge for instance). Merging layers that have different layer blending modes always cause issues and there needs to be a normal layer at the bottom.
