I think you are smart to redesign the neckline of your sweater, especially if you are sensitive in the neck/upper chest area. It will be a glorious tribute to your mother when it's completed. Thank you for your thoughtfulness towards your brother in knitting him such a special sweater. It's such a beautiful act of love.
Great podcast, I love all the beautiful shawls! The Crazy yarn comes from Stonehedge Fiber Mill located in northern Michigan. They were at the Michigan Fiber Festival this past August. I believe you can purchase the Crazy yarn from their website. 🦋🌻
@@dtroj4774 I didn’t think of the suri option! That would have been good! I dug into the leftovers and once I made my decision for the neckline on feel not color it’s now much better! Thank you! I did make the neckline larger too!

@@karentaylor3807 oh thank you! I really loved knitting it up and find it very soft too! 🌸🧶💕
Of wow those squares look so good. The co,ours are amazing!
@@ramonafirehorse thanks Ramona! Once I got the rhythm of the pattern down I loved it even more! 🤓🧶💗
Perhaps you could knit your sweater neck line in some of your nice soft yarn and then switch to the yarn from your mons stash
Perhaps you can make a cardigan with the sock yarn? Or you hold a suri with the cratchy yarn.
