Allstar RTCM GPS Timing Hardware

I have played with 4 different GPS units to use for the timing required by the RTCM for Voting and/or Simulcast. One of these units did not work but the other three did work.

I believe you got it backwards, GPS is required for simulcast not voting. S/N voting used a comparator and compares the S/N. Simulcast must have a HS reference oscillator for transmitter key-up and transmitter oscillator.

Mark Lacy in this system GPS is required to time the arrival of the packets for the voter to compare the audio streams correctly.
