Life in Russia is not all roses for the older generation. You interview young people in Moscow, and they seem to be clueless about what it's like to live in rural Russia and how retired people live. She is right. You can't protest in Russia because you will be arrested. Right now, they are "detaining" people who are setting up memorials in Russia for Navalny.
