The look on your face when your were joining traffic was one of pure joy. That feeling is why some of us drive cars. Thank you for the update and all the work you do on the main channel.
Wow your 997 looks beautiful! I had no idea you had a passion for cars like this. I had the pleasure of seeing my first 997 GT2RS at a local Porsche Cars and Coffee recently and I was stunned. Has a nostalgic look whenever I see one as when I was first able to really start learning and driving cars on video games they were out. Going to checkout more videos asap!
... your GT2RS purrs like a Lion .. love the interior grey plush ... this car drives like it has inner intelligence ... exquisite response time ... thanks for the full peak at the shocks ... all that beautiful design engineering will spend it's life out of sight ... amazing
Exciting! I spotted the Ohlins gear on ebay and thought it might have been yours. Can't wait to hear your review of the tractive, there doesn't seem to be much information out there from people that have had the system fitted currently. Could I ask why you decided to go with the DSC controller over the tractive alternative?
That comment about the bump that's gonna hurt, fact check true. After I lowered my 2004 Corvette I really had to pay attention to things. There were times I literally said 'this is gonna hurt' lol! I lowered it on the factory bolts which results in less suspension travel thus bottoming out sooner. I wanted to get actual Bilstein lowered suspension but it was $2500 USD back in 2014. That was too spendy. With the 2013 Grand Sport and 2014 Stingray at factory ride height they are both a lot smoother even though they have lower profile tires run flat tires. Sport Mode setting is uh-may-zing!
Makes me think of when I was into car driving Buick stage 1's , mustang my 66, still have 72, 73 Saab sonnet, MG A"s and B's remind me of full suspension upgrade I did on my 66 mustang with koni shocks and neoprene parts, over size sway bars
Magnetic ride control shocks have come a long way in a short time. In the 10 years since GM introduced it on it's Cadillac, now even Chevrolet's high end 4 wheel drive pickup truck has them as standard equipment.
Never driven one. EVs don't excite me, even ones made by Porsche. I'm sure it's well built, fast and a good drive (for an EV) because it's a Porsche after all.
On behalf on this much neglected channel I wish to complain. We need some Porsche and road trip updates please, enough of all this SuperYacht news, that will never catch on :>). (Well done on the recent huge increase in subscribers on the other channel by the way, well deserved).
This is disappointing. Why not just hire a better driver instead of a computer? Cars of this class need real gear heads to maximize enjoyment. Not Valets Sorry sir, like your channel but thought your jackets we more than just posing.
What are you talking about? I’m guessing as I’m not really sure, but I think you’re talking about the DSC module? The 997 turbo/GT2/RS all had a module from Porsche installed from the factory. This one is just programable as is the suspension to make the car respond better. Having worse suspension and ‘accepting’ it is worse doesn’t make you more of a ‘gear head’ than anyone else.
Dude You don’t know what you are talking about. The DSC unit is a game changer in comfort and handling…. Why would callout Esysman like that after seeing the detail he has put into this car…. Go back to your Tesla suck a big one.
A lovely car. What possessed you to place the number-plate in that position though?

It has been a while, and I'm happy to see this.
I hope the filmed update comes out in a short while.
I will definitely be following this for sure. Beautiful car.

Enjoy both channels but this one better. Welcome back!

All good. It’ll be worth the wait
Always enjoy your car updates. Brings back memories.
Well come Well come Well come back !! You explain the technical stuff so simply that even I can understand it .... Stay Safe & Keep Motoring !!

Great to see you back!
You're!
Think you will like the new suspension. Will be interesting to hear your thoughts.

That is an excellent build. It looks like it's going 200mph sitting in the garage. The wheels look great too. Keep up the great work.

Great to see you back and your Porsches
I believe it's only two settings? - Sports and Normal like the factory. Many years ago they had 3 settings but has been consolidated to two.
Yes it is.
If the Bose suspension system ever became a possibility, do you think it would be useful in a Porsche or would it remove the road-feel?
Any update with the tractive suspension installed?
Beautiful car and it sounds so great. Love that throaty sound.
Looking forward to more great content as I am getting into some automotive design as a complement to my yacht design. Loved my C4-964!
The build on this car is amazing. I use your example to create my own replica GT2 RS
i need to get myself a new car lol. kinda feelin a lotus. my porsche is always gonna have a spot in the garage though
Gosh I love your car. May I ask why you decided on the DSC box over the tractive controller?
Tractive controller is overkill for how I’ll use the car. Also it’s harder to program I’m told, a Tractive laptop is required.

What's your opinion of the Porsche Taycan

No review of the suspension??
The car is in hibernation right now. I will do a review when the weather in the UK is more acceptable.
it looks like the workshop has less work, I wonder if some of their clients have been effected by the Sanctions?
No they’re busy, car was booked in weeks in advance.
@@YachtReport that's good to hear.
Did your yacht get seized?
Noooo

Toffee ?
Finally. This has been going on what? A year?
Its not doing the same thing, It changes the dampening dependet on comfort setting and centripetal load, it does not change ride hight or spring rate!

I know I suck at this channel. I do have some stuff I have filmed already that I haven't been able to edit yet. But I will get around to it soon.
This is disappointing.
