- It took me a while but I figured out why the Track Mutes in the Elektron Octatrack Arranger mode don't always work the way you would think they should. Hopefully this helps save someone else some time.
Sorry for the blurry screen close-ups. I forgot to turn the auto-focus off on my camera. Grrrr.
thank you for this! This was messing me up today!
My Man!!! Thank you for clearing this out!!
Thank you I could not identify the problem which in reality is not one.
Thanks for sharing, just subscribed to tour channel!
I’ve got some weird timing issues when moving through the arranger. I thing release might be the issue. I’m going to give this a go. Thanks.
Nice work. THRU machines turn on when they receive their trig activation and stay on until they receive an off message or play through their AMP stage. The arranger mutes new triggers but not audio on tracks. So your THRU machine would continue to function until an off message is sent which is not a command that the arranger sends.
The Legend! EZBOT. Love your stuff, man. Thanks for the info. You rock.
wow man that is a very important indication ! thanks a lot 🙏
I had the same problem. I tried to fix it by changing the hold and release values in the amp section but couldn’t fix it. Here’s the thing: I’m triggering a 64 steps sequence at 1/4 speed, and that’s why I set the master step length at 256. As I am working with 256 steps and hold - in the amp section - allows 128 value range only - which means 128 steps - I couldn’t calibrate the hold knob to match the sample length.
If I'd got a dollar every time I thought the Octatrack was broken or there was a bug only to later find out I was mistaken I'd be rich
