I had never heard of Robbie Williams but went to see the movie. Went in with no-low expectations but the film blew me away. Very touching. Looked into Robbie and played ‘Angels’ I’ve definitely heard that song before but never knew who it was singing it.
Im American, had no idea who Robbie was. I went to go see the movie mostly because I have an amc pass and some friend told me about the movie. I went in not expecting much but I came out really enjoying the movie and checking out some of Robbie’s songs. I got to say you made a fan out of me 🤙
Had no idea this movie was about Robbie Williams. I have a movie pass and just watch everything 😆 but yes I loved it. I’m American, and in 8th grade we had to make a scrapbook for the end of the year. And for my favorite song and lyrics page, I chose Back For Good by Robbie…I’m 33 now. 😅
Man, I listen to a lot of music and so many different genres and I've never heard this person. At first, I thought this was about Robin Williams. Absolutely no clue who this is. EDIT: Okay, I looked him up. Nobody knows him in the US. I feel better now
@@brianjosephestanislao3511 I owned a new and used record/CD store and his name/music never came up. There are many artists that are just regional and don't make it in other countries. It doesn't mean he's not talented and it doesn't mean those not exposed have limited musical knowledge. It just means his "popularity" was limited
@@brianjosephestanislao3511 Pretty much. The Beatles, Elton John, ABBA, Coldplay, Adele, BeeGees, Lorde. They were all unknown by most until they broke in the US. Until they did, we all had "limited knowledge." Some can do it, some can't. This Robbie guy didn't have what it took and it's as simple as that. That being said, nobody knows everybody so there is no point where each of us won't have limited knowledge.
No. They know about him because of ai. They just skipped him years ago because he sucks and grew amnesia purposely to hopefully forget he existed. And it's like oh yeah there is that awful guy. Like that loser who made bangarang. I forget his name let me look it up. Oh yes. Skrillix. Do you know how much effort it takes to subtract that garbage out of your memory? I'm ashamed I now remember skrillixes name. And this butt face monkey named Bob. Bob who can't sing well.
Absolutely fantastic, however at the very end, Robbie as the chimpanzee.. really should have transformed back into Robbie Williams the human, revealing himself as the "Better Man"
No. And I'm not going to listen to any of the other lame artists. Fn Coldplay, imagine dragons, 98°degrees, drake, Harry styles or ed sheeran. Your guy's taste in music is as butt as your choosing labor to destroy your country.
Did we really need this movie? Bizzare. I actually liked some of his music back in the day, I can't remember which songs now, can't forget the models pulling off his own flesh or something music video though. He has quite the ego to put out a biopic of himself as a chimp lol.
He’s only 50 and he’s making a biographical film about himself lol. Musical biopics are usually made for iconic historical artists who have passed away or those who have been around way longer and much more accomplished (Bob Dylan, Elton John)
Well, if you see the film, he’s actually quite self-critical: it’s not sanitized like so many biopics; this is really just more of a story (that happens to be based on his life); totally loved it - and a great watch for people who want to see something bold and original.

@Etienne- well technically that's gary barlow...but yes he was in take that....cool to hear their music reach the states
Are you making me re-listen "Me and My Monkey," right? Thank you!
Why do we need this movie 😢😢

How many people seen this movie?
Zero

The a-e is like Cesar and Noah
We love him here in the UK...my american friends you should check him out...his song angels is his most successful song
my condolences
@rickster798 no need...but thanks
He’s not exactly a great singer either and barely has any hits. People in other countries don’t know him too not just Americans
No we dont. He is an establishment hack.

You clearly missed the point 😂😂
130M budget, did not save at all :)

That is one disgusting movie, and stupid. Hollywood has sunk to an all new low.
Ouch, harsh! I haven’t seen it but I’ve heard many good reports. Are you a fan of Robbie Williams?
@@lilymay7171 You would do better to watch any of the Planet of the apes, horrible movies instead. But, to each his or her own choice.
"disgusting" "stupid" "all new world". I know you're probably never planning on watching it but it really is very good.
It was an amazing movie. Someone is just bashing it and hasn't actually seen it is my guess.
@@PugAshen Oh, you fell in love with the chimp, i guess.
