While not technically landlocked I feel like Bosnia Herzegovina deserves an honorary mention: they have a minuscule part of Croatian coast that has Croatia left and right from it and when a ship wants to leave it gets confronted by a huge peninsula that forces the Bosnian navies to go through Croatian waters for hours before they finally get out. Overall this just radiates the exact same copium vibes as the two mentions at the end of this vid for me lol
Slovenia too
Its the same with Jordan and Israel, they both have a tiny coast on the red sea.
Bolivia: i had a ocean at one point, so my navy should be pretty strong still, unlike countries who never had sea.
Paraguay: allow me to introduce myself
The American Great Lakes also had a bunch of naval battles but they were demilitarized after the War of 1812
You deserve waaaay more subscribers, I’m surprised you don’t have 1 thousand subscribers yet! Edit: You now do.

Aircraft carriers isn't a requirement for a navy to be a blue water navy, although it definitely helps.
And some navies have hybrid capabilities.
While Sweden and Finland is green water navies Norway and Denmark is responsible for keeping the waters between Greenland, Iceland and Norway free of Russian naval assets in case of a war with Russia.
And as a result they have a mix of blue water and green water capabilities.
Their blue water assets are insufficient to defeat Russia alone, but with help from more significant blue water navies from the UK and US they can contribute with force multipliers at sea.
Denmark and Norway can also operate to a limited degree further away in places like off the coast of Somalia.
Bolivia not being called a landlocked country in the intro was truly a gift for them!
Edit: nevermind
The last joke was pretty good 😄 and the video in general. I hope you keep uploading regularly because i find your content enjoyable
6:24 my fav part of the video, it made my day! I hope you do more cool stuff like this
I hope this videos keep coming! So far they are very interesting.
Chile commited culture conversion process in northern chile once part of bolivia to make sure it stays part of chile and becomes chilean itself (or intesive cultural process called chilinization)
as a chilean i can confirm 👍
There is also Bolivia that has a landlocked navy. 2:37 you accidentally used the former provinces of Japan drawn up in 793. I can tell because I saw Aki and Bingo separated rather than being Hiroshima prefecture.

The multi-stage fitness test (MSFT), also known as the beep test, bleep test, PACER (Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run), PACER test, FitnessGram PACER test, or the 20 m Shuttle Run Test (20 m SRT), is a running test used to estimate an athlete's aerobic capacity (VO2 max).
The test requires participants to run 20 meters back and forth across a marked track keeping time with beeps. Every minute or so, the next level commences: the time between beeps gets shorter; participants must run faster. If a participant fails to reach the relevant marker in time, they are cautioned. A second caution ends the test for that runner. The number of shuttles completed is recorded as the score of that runner. The score is recorded in Level.Shuttles format (e.g. 9.5). The maximum laps on the PACER test is 247,[1] which former Central Middle School student Dennis Mejia achieved,[2] the only person to ever reach such a level.
The test is used by sporting organizations around the world along with schools, the military, and others interested in gauging cardiovascular endurance, an important component of overall physical fitness. The multi-stage fitness test is also part of most health-related fitness test batteries for children and adolescents, such as Eurofit,[3] Alpha-fit,[3] FitnessGram[4][3] and ASSOFTB.[5]
The multi-stage fitness test was first described by Luc Léger[6] with the original 1-minute protocol, which starts at a speed of 8.5 km/h, and increases by 0.5 km/h each minute. Other variations of the test have also been developed, where the protocol starts at a speed of 8.0 km/h and with either 1 or 2-minute stages, but the original protocol is nevertheless recommended.[7] The test appears to encourage maximal effort by children. Additionally, the test's prediction of aerobic capacity is valid for most individuals, including those who are overweight or obese.[8]
Subbed!
Your Videos are so goood
New sub
Some nations have navies for pride and are not pathetic, like Switzerland. Although I am unsure if Switzerland still has a navy at this time (don't feel like googling it).
Good video! 🇭🇷
Austrias bundesheer had a few patroll boots until 2006. Land on the steam. And they now have a submaien.
Should’ve put a warning before mentioning the EEZ bro…. It went everywhere…
Here before he gets popular
Bolivia when they lost a war to Chile:
Bolivia when they lost a war to Brazil:
Bolivia when they lost a war to Paraguay:
will you remember me when you reach 100k subscribers?
so you said that landlocked countries have access to sea because of rivers and stuff. So does that mean that if, like, the Riyadh region of Saudi Arabia became independent then will they truly not have any access to sea or is there another way. Cuz they don't have any rivers in Saudi Arabia
My brother has in his status "Surfing in Bolivian Sea"
Bolivia should learn a bit from laos on not having a coastline
Your channel reminds me of brains4brekfest (r.i.p B4B)
i like you included bosnia
by god you are good
Mongolia has a tiny navy too and by that i mean just a war ship they have it for symbolism i guess.
Necroposting, but fun fact: peru gave Bolivia a whole coastal area in southern peru back in the 90's as an act of friendliness. peru had done nothing in that coastal area, no hotels, no residential buildings, no stores, there was just sand. bolivia had permission from peru to build whatever they wanted in that area, but guess what, after all these years that area is intact, bolivia has literally not done anything with the land peru gave them. lol
Your video is high quality and informative, but you talk a bit too fast. playing at .75 actually works well lol

You have a huge chance of becoming the successor of the late Brain4breakfast. And I'm all in for it!
To remind you of my ancestral country LEICTHENSTIEN
I was struggling to understand what you were saying
gib sea !
It’s a good video very interesting but u NEED TO TALK SLOWER. That’s gonna hold u back man I had to keep going back to read the captions and I ain’t gonna do that for every video. Speak slower. Your words seem to just run together and it sounds almost like mumbling. And then u have an accent so it makes it that much harder to understand anything and jokes aren’t even half as funny if u have to go back and read them. Please try this out. I really like this video and would love to see more.
Mongolia: yes
