In my humble opinion without a doubt one of the best chess channels, it always inspires me to try new lines in the openings, thank you teacher for your dedication, never leave this platform.
Mio, I'm playing spectacular chess at the moment by slowing down and thinking 'What would Mio do in this scenario?' It works like magic. I have found some amazing sacrifices that the computer agreed with after the game, just by doing this step.
Just the basic explanation of why the delay of the recapture on a6 is priceless -- and that is only the icing on the cake. Superbly instructional video! Thanks.
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial I always play c5 against d4 and I would like to see your ideas for when they do Nc3 on the third move. Also, I have a bit of trouble finding a good plan when they do c3 as their 2nd move in response to c5 (I end up playing a variation of the "Torre attack") ..and also when they play e3 on second move (with that I fiancetto the dark bishop and end up in Spielmann-Indian Variation). Anyway, it would be great to see some more videos about c5 responses to d4. I dont want to sound greedy, but you know... if you dont ask you do get! Thanks a million for these great lessons!
Dobar video Miodraze! Jako sam zeleo da naucim Benkov gambit, a uvek sam tvoja otvaranja ucio, i koristio bez gresaka. Nadam se da ces ovako cesto snimati videe!
A year ago, I was researching this variation of Perunovic ( I was already playing your Butcher the sicilian), and I vividly remember that I was mistaking the guy who invented it with you.
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial I still play it!, it's my main choice in tournaments, however I am also playing Open Sicilian from the influence of another Chessable author Andras Toth.
Just thought i'd get into playing the Benko, and looking for some instruction and key ideas. The Idea of Carlsens Bf5 and also not taking on a6 is very interesting. Once again the guy with the world class drinks cabinet came through. Thanks Mio!
Thank you, Miodrag! I played benko, when i was 13-20 years old, with great results. But in the end i played an i m, he bashed me with this a4 line and i ended up play the benko and suching and struggling for a regular alternative against 1.d4, 1.d4/c4. Every game after my benko-era i play other defence with black. With good results, yeah, but it sucks to have no system, that i love. Now with your video i will play next season benko. (Elo about 2230) Thank you!
The Benko is my favourite reply to D4, C4. The positions are just so playable for black. Activity, activity, activity. NO other reply to Queen's Gambit gives activity and positional pressure like this. More of the same would be great.

Pls teach More benko gambit videos
I really like the benko but I don't like that like you said is very limited and for that I switched to Tarrasch that its unavoidable
I used to hate benko gambit and I learned before that a4 makes the benko bad until now the Perunovic line…
Thanks....a great lecture....What will be the subject of your next chessable course ??
1. e4 e5 2. Qh5!? Patzers opening!
I can't help but tell you, Miodrag, that you look like the Ukraine President 😂 Benko Gambit on TOP!
Hello Miodrag and what do you think about the Blumenfeld gambit?
Blumenfeld gambit is a really good gambit for Black! I could make it one day! Thanks for reminding me 🤭
What to do after 2.nf3?
You could still play c5 and if they play d5 you could play b5
