I have a question about ruiling. So lets say you activate woes as chain link one and then diabell as chain link 2 sending the activated woes, will woes still resolve?
yes the woes will still resolve :) its only face up continuous spells and field spells that need to stay on the field at resolution to be able to resolve their effects. Same goes for continuous traps too
Instead of trying to cram Powersink Stone into the deck to replace Skill Drain, I went for a board breaker build with Spell Card: Monster Reborn and gotta say, fairly solid as an extender (essentially extra copies of Rucia, Silvy and Ash Blossom as Tuners) and decently strong counter to Bystials. Additionally, with Amblowhale seeing play again, it just adds to the utility of the card. I am loving the card, still testing, but I would imagine the Light Barrier Statue would be a solid side deck option as another target.
Yeah powersink stone just isn't the play lmao. Skill drain wasn't what made this deck good, its just a busted card that happened to work well with the deck. Spell card: monster reborn is a really interesting card that i've thought about. Haven't decided to use it yet but it can be very solid imo. Also light barrier goes brrr haha
its definitely interesting, but the set up is too much for me tbh. the white forest combos are already like 1.5-2 card combos, so adding a third card is kinda rough. you have to be able to combo on top of having the burial goods. Its definitely a funny thing you can do and could even possibly win you a game or two, but I think rn I prefer have those slots in my deck for other stuff like non engine
I have opted for the handtrap version and it does suck the lack of spells, however I am now playing called by and crossout since the deck does suffer to interuption, I feel these spells along with toybox and engine spell traps while not ideal to send gives you combo most the time if you dont draw toybox cards. I think overall I play about 20 spell/traps (including the soldier and tank) which means I have stuff to send almost every time I chose not to play the map since I feel accessing 9 starters with a prosp aswell is a lot easier then getting toybox which is much more needed since I only play 7 ways to get to toybox (including the 3 of itself) therefore with the prosp hit which I used to get toybox previously I added the anti handtrap which gives me some combo if needed while also if I draw into toybox a little more saftey. I also play 15 handtraps. board breakers in the side to side out for the anti handtrap since they act as discards and also more useful interuption going second let me know what you think! I havent properly tested it yet but thats what I plan on playing at a locals tournament tomorrow
I think if you are gonna play the hand trap version I think you are doing it the right way :D I agree with everything you said haha. Good luck at your tournament tomorrow! Lemme know how you do! :D
do you happen to have a list? I've been trying the handtrap version with crossouts but testing opening hands and test matches at locals has been awful in terms of consistency.
@@GrinningNeko143 I don't have a current list for the handtrap version. Although my first deck profile on my page for white forest played handtraps so maybe that can help :)
the horus cards are really cool cause they trigger the tales or woes and gives you a spellcaster to work with tales. My only issue is that if you get ashed on the imsety, that is reallyyy rough tbh. Its really cool and I may give it a go once they are reprinted in the tins haha but for now I feel like its just too big of a choke point for my liking
That’s true also why I play 3 cross out lol yeah I only play imsety and happy in the engine to go into #90 for nib negate or zombie vampire to mill for a good summon the zombie vampire also triggers the we cards and imsety being a spellcaster is also a plus
Love the profile. What are your thouhgts on keeping a small Centur-ion package(1 Trudea, Primera, Wake up, and Stand-up)? I have found that just having three in the extra deck Auxila, Blazar, and Crimson is still viable. Also, having a bystial in hand with a lvl 4 toy monster on field with Stand Up active can make a Chaos Angel on Opp.'s turn helpful. Either way, this deck is for sure becoming one of my favorites.
Thank you! its definitely solid! I just don't play it cause I like having the extra deck space for other stuff and the centur-ion stuff takes up more space that could be non engine. But still over all really good cards!
Its an interesting idea, however if i've successfully booked their monsters going second, I'd rather keep silvera on field to help do double piercing damage to go for game. RDA would help me clear the monsters, but not be able to OTK, and then afterwards I'm left with just a level 8 body and thats it. I'd much rather do piercing with my white forest synchros and if i can't otk, I can turn silvera into a diabell to get a spell/trap recursion and have an interruption for my opponent on their turn. Thats just my take on it though lol
Yes it is an anit nibiru line! So if you start off with astellar and toy box for example (this also works if you only open toy soldier). So normal astellar, activate toy box to set 2. Send toy soldier to summon silvy from deck. Sily adds tales and soldier summons, on summon soldier will search too. Then you search for elzette with tales. Now synchro into muddragon with astellar and silvy. This is summon 4. You then use muddragon to fuse with the toy soldier into albion and use its effect to fuse too. This is the 5th summon, but albion fuses from grave too so if they nib here you still just summon dragoon LMAO. You'll just have a nib token on field haha. Then you can continue to pop off with elzette. Hope that makes sense.
Hey, thanks for the content! I am new to the deck and I really like it, I am waiting for my copies so I can test it irl. Do you think Dark Ruler No More could be better than droplets? Also Lightning Storm instead of cosmics since you also chose to run thrust? I imagine you chose these ones because they are better going first compared to the other ones that are solely for going second. My build is going to be similar with mostly board breakers and I am thinking of the centur-ion package. What do you think? Thanks :D
Thanks! Yeah I really love this deck! So much fun! Dark ruler is solid and I was playing that before. Droplet is nice because it still allows me to otk and can also technically help me combo by send set toys for cost which is nice. Lightning storm is another good card but i like cosmic for a few reasons. First is that yeah its good going first too. I really don't want to have to deal with the tenpai field spell lol, and it also stops the des-ire negate. it also require no cards on the field to use and so often enough thrust only becomes live once you commit cards to the field. Centur-ion cards are cool for sure, just not my preference tbh. Good luck with the deck!
Why dont you use the arms of genex combo it would be nibiru proof and you just need 2 extra deck spaces instead of 3 for dragoon. I mean sure dragoon is an omni which also costs 1 handcard but arms of genex ist an monster negate for every attribute once isnt that much better?
genex combo is crazy good imo, but the negate from dragoon is just better overall. It helps stop more board breakers and can generally stop anything I want. Its also really annoying to get rid of. The 2 extra deck spaces is nice compared to dragoon's 3, but overall I find I'm much more comfortable with dragoon rn
I was running Rafflesia until I got my Arms of Genex. You can make her on summon 5 and run the 1 gravedigger's in the deck. It actually felt pretty good tbh, but the hole traps were pretty gross garnets
@@magmatrooper949Do you think its viable to run both? I played the Genex lines at a locals today and the Genex was crazy against Fiendsmith lines and Yubel in general
@@EddfaceOfficial I would say you shouldn't use both. Thats 5 extra deck slots for essentially one purpose. The genex card is crazy good and like you say against fiendsmith and yubel lines its insane. My locals has turned a lot more rogue recently haha so i opt for dragoon rn
Keep up the WF content! Love your takes
Thank you!!!! Definitely more to come :D
Bro this is the ultimate white forest channel. And tomorrow this deck comes to master duel and i want to build it. I think to try it with centurion.

I’ve been liking a small Horus engine gets your combos rolling with body’s that can turn into a nib negate in 3-4 Summons

no, this is the board breaker version of the deck. Its generally not good to mix the two. It makes your deck more inconsistent.
