A simple adventure designed for the D20, 3rd edition version of Dungeons and Dragons. Deal with a mad mage who has mutated into horrible monster and who in his madness has taken over the village he was living in and taken control of the villagers by using plant parasites
Welcome back. I remember these pamphlet adventures, got all but one. Some were better than others but for that price, they were great!

Definitely, the whole plants controlling people, and just the creeping vines by themselves have potential

Thank you so much for doing my video request. I've always enjoyed Kurishan's Garden, it's the moral dilemma I enjoy the most as a DM. Great job on breaking the adventure down, very deep! I was curious what kind of score you would give it. I think you scored it perfectly, and it is deadly! The module has a nice way of suddenly switching gears.

@@TheLostAdventurer sweet well glad to see you back. This is an interesting adventure, I would probably look to convert it to BX but then again I have enough adventures to run anyway. I look forward to seeing your next videos hopefully more BECMI or BX content.
Damn...Kurishan is kinda like Stephen King in the 82 movie "Creepshow". 😂 Any idea where these pamphlet adventures were sold? I never heard of them...
It has its own little horror theme to it! I didn't even know about it until one of the channel members asked me to take a look at them, so your guess is as good as mine
Local gaming stores in the early 2000s would have a stand up box of them with like 6 or 8 different adventures per box. The pamphlet format made them cheap to produce and they packed twice as dense on a shelf.
I had several I interspersed inside my homebrew campaign as they were excellent time savers. Unlike modern adventure paths, the plot hooks were thin enough you could easily mix and match them. My reworked version of Kurishan became a recurring character in my game.
I think AEG released a collection of them at one point.
