Hey just to be clear. second monitor emulator wasnt connected via Thunderbolt proto? it was just USB-C dock with DisplayPort alt mode? Its kinda dealbreaker to me mine usb c monitor not thunderbolt device
The switch burned out my msi z690i unify motherboard once I plugged it into TB4 port. The mobo is dead now. And the Sabrent support team have been uncooperative in resolving the issue.

there are thunderbolt cards exist for PCs. but for laptops it can be a dealbreaker. also not clear how it would interact with USB4

Damn, I've heard other people say the same thing happened to them. This switch is exactly what I need but I probably will not risk it.
