J.J. Barea BEST Highlights with the Mavs (2006-2011 & 2014-2020) - FEARLESS FLOOR GENERAL

  • One of the best undrafted players to ever play the game. One simply couldn't have asked for a better career as someone who's undrafted and under 6 feet tall. Not only was he fearless at attacking the basket, he was also extremely crafty finishing at the rim. He was a pick-and-roll genius and a great leader. I'll forever be thankful for everything he has done on the court (especially during the 2011 championship run) and off the court.

I am from the same town in PR as Barea and I knew what he could do... So I made that very clear at the forum before Dallas got him. I was so right!... | One time I was at a barber shop and the guys talked a lot... My barber was a LAKER FAN and was picking up on him and it really was BS! I liked Barea alot but I don't think he deserved that for 2 main reasons.
      1. He was not good enough for that. He was really good just not that good. In my opinion.
      2. He left after the 2011 Championship run. I wasn't mad that he left because he got paid plus he was made a starter so that was a great opportunity and I can't fault him for that but when it comes to getting a jersey retired he needed to play here his entire career.

@@bigred9991 I mean, Oklahoma retired Nick Collison's jersey because he was loyal, if you think about it, JJ was traded but they didn't trade him, he would've stayed those years with the Mavs, plus, he was an amazing talent for the team when they needed it, and he's a veteran that is good with mentoring young players, one of the reasons he'll be Dallas' assistant coach next year alongside Jason Kidd (I believe it's Jason Kidd).

If you still do those! It would be cool if you could do a few Wesley Matthews highlights! He was pretty solid those couple of years with Dallas!

It’s almost as if height helped see better angles to drive or pass through the lane. Weird that it actually helped him.
