I think after the election Im going to start a new religion and I'll just be the leader of that full time. Yall in? Free ice cream on Tuesday and Thursdays!
What religious freedom is: "I can't do that because of my religion." What religious freedom isn't: "You can't do that because of my religion." A lot of people can't seem to understand the difference.
Its kinda funny how quickly we forget that the people who wrote the constitution separated church and state because they didnt want to be forced to adhere to someone else's beliefs.
The way conservatives interpret it, they think "freedom of religion" means they can insert religion into anything they want, including public tax-payer funded services.
It doesn't apply to peoples individual beliefs. By your logic there would be nobody in government who was religious, which would have been impossible especially during the nations foundation where most people were religious in the country.
They only forget when it stops THEM from imposing their religious dogma on others. But if any other religion tries? They'll be screaming like furious toddlers.
@@KitsunenoHibi Again, the separation of church and state only applies so the government couldn't force by "law" that for example, everybody has to go to church every Sunday etc.
In a deeper dive the first founders actually wanted the freedom to control what religion everyone else was. They were known worldwide as "basically a bunch of dicks, kick them out" and that kept happening until they came to america. It's hard to find links, but they got kicked out of a lot of countries for being awful. It wasn't until a lot later that the seperation thing happened. The influence clearly stuck around.
They have been working on this game since witcher 3 they aren't rushed but they have to live up to the expectations on the witcher 3 and don't want to send out buggy versions of their game.
I think this delay will be good or bad depending upon how it came about. I'm a programmer and I have had delays like this in my products. Sometimes the delay is because management is pushing, like "GET IT OUT THE DOOR" and they don't care about the quality, and the employees come to management and say, "Sorry, it's dead in the water. It's not going to work unless we have more time." In this case, it's bad. The extra 3 weeks is just frantically shoring up all the weak spots, and then they release a creaky buggy game. *However,* I have also had a situation where I had a mostly OK product, or so-so, I mean it worked and it was usable but it wasn't winning any awards. And I knew if I had more time, not even a lot, but a chunk big enough to do some real work, then I could take it from "okay" to "hey this actually works and it's kinda nice!" This is the difference between a score of 60 and a score of 89. You know? If they are in that situation, and the employees told management that 3 weeks will push them from a 60 to an 89, then management might go, "Yeah, that's significantly better, let's do it." The only issue here is that we will not know which of these scenarios happened *until the game comes out.*
@Nickname Excatly. I did a trade deal for a cheaper pre order. So I feel like I've given two games away for free and paid for a game I can't get and play when promised
@Nickname I couldn't go passed the "trade two games get cyberpunk for $29" lol. Ebgames does that all the time with different but it's a limited time offer so I couldn't stop myself from getting that deal 😆. Now I'm regretting it. Personally I prefer hard copies of games over digital so I pre ordered for the disk version. I'm so over the waiting too. If it gets delayed again I'm going to flip a table
I'm not American but I find it so weird that someone can so easily be put into such an important position, and be able to keep it for life and the general public have no say in the matter.
Yea... The 'for life' thing is insane but also kinda understandable as they become a lot more independent from outside influences due to them not having to think of 'what is after'
It's not even exclusive to the US, with the house of lords in the UK also being an entirely unelected body which actually has influence over laws. Your own country probably has a system like this too, where people you have no control over make decisions, and even if they make decisions you like it is important to question their authority, and why they have it if your country claims to be democratic. I don't mean to turn your comment on a lecture on becoming politically informed, but knowing who is making the rules and why they get to do so is the most important part of politics. Its probably worth doing some research in your own countries political system if you're only mildly familiar and focus on the big main elections, you'd probably be astonished at what you'd find.
in theory, the idea is that because they don't have to worry about re-election, they will make choices based on what they feel is correct rather than what will get them re-elected.
The "for life" is so that they can be truly independent. The majority party then can't kick a judge out because they don't like a justice. They can also quit if they choose.
I'm fine with waiting if the end result will be worthwhile. The customer may forgive a delay but not a shitty product. Fallout76 and No Man's Sky learned this the hard way. I'm willing to give CD Project the benefit of the doubt.
Love when people think that "freedom of religion" is their right to tell me what to do with my life and think that me existing in a happy marriage is SO detrimental to THEIR life when they literally arent affected by it at ALL
I see those posts and then go to my recent messages with my American friends and see how long it's been since I last reminded them (3 days ago incidentally)
I doubt they have a policy on organs of the human body that aren't overly sexual, whereas they probably have policies about nudity and specific sections of the body etc
Tumblr: “First time?” Edit: in case you don’t get it, Tumblr made a no “female presenting nipple” policy to stop all the porn and they instead killed their platform.
This confirmation terrifies me and I'm not even American. Having a party push this confirmation against their own precedent is unbelievable enough, but the country is being pushed in a direction that will wreck the global environment and economy with no chances of recovery. The system in place is so corrupt and Americans are convinced that its helping them that I'm terrified that it can happen elsewhere.
Terrifies you? You’re not ready for the real world then dear. Were you equally terrified when Kavanaugh (so) was practically burned at the stake in a protracted witch hunt which dragged him through the mud with virtually no evidence against him? ACB was voted in like any normal person. Infact if the Dems didn’t change the rules on only requiring a majority to get in, maybe she wouldn’t have. @John Something thanks for your lengthy input. You speak a whole lotta truths there. For the Instagram nudity story, there's a decent size lingerie enthusiast community on ig that showcase the luxury pieces in an artsy and safe way. Recently they have been getting hit very hard by having their photos or pages taken down for "nudity" or "pornography" while there are celeb pages that show way more skin than the enthusiast do and they never get anything taken down. Even drawing of detailed embroidered lingerie pieces has been taken down. This is completely unfair, especially to the small lingerie brand who currently struggling as they are either shadowban or unable to use the new shop features. I hope this is the start of new changes and rules to the app as lingerie is just fashion not pornography

Witcher 3 was delayed 3 times. Still the game of the year, my game of the decade. Cyberpunk being delayed 3 times was something I already expected, and I expect the game to just as amazing as the Witcher 3
Doesn't matter honestly. This game is far too overhyped to ever stand a CHANCE to deliver. It will be a great game, but watch people bitch about how "it's disappointing, but still good". This has happened for lesser games.
Witcher 3 is a fantastic game and was 1000% worth the extra wait. I'm not into the Cyberpunk game, but I hope it is as wonderful for all the players as Witcher 3 is.
Dear Cyberpunk, I am not much of a gamer, but I am a businesswoman. Thank you for making hard choices to improve your audience’s experience of the game. This move would make me love your company even more. 💗
Downside is the crunch time, but yes. For now they SEEM to TRY to care. I expect it to turn out they have a culture of sexual abuse to be revealed within a year, but til then.....
So much this. I’ll wait for as long as it takes for cdpr to put out the quality that we know and love. Good on them for not releasing a AAA beta like most other developers!
I don’t think the Instagram censorship is targeted towards plus sizes black women, but to plus sized women in general. I follow a lot of plus sized women, a lot white, and they get posts taken down where they’re almost fully clothed. It’s ridiculous.
Animal Crossing was delayed and yeah it sucked but once we got it, it feels like we always had it in a way. I'm sure cyberpunk fans would rather a top notch game rather than a buggy one 🤷♀️
I've been desperately waiting for this game, been watching everything on it I can find because I'm so excited. I would sure as hell rather wait for a really good quality game available across multiple platforms than some of the crap they've been pumping out lately. People aren't used to having to wait for quality anymore; Too used to getting everything as quickly as they can.
The wait doesn't bother me what does bother me is that they keep pulling release dates out their ass just to delay it again, just give us a longer release date if the game isn't done... Is that too much to ask for?
Several push backs in one year does look kind of bad. They could've pushed the release back to the beginning of the next year when they initially announced a delay.
It's basically impossible to make a bug free game, so now after so many delays people are just going to be even more upset at any little bug that inevitably pops up. Also, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, each with their bugs, and massive fan bases and sales regardless.
So art student here, fun fact from my art history classes. You know those renaissance paintings of naked women? In most cases that WAS porn for them at the time. They didn't have artists draw naked women for anything other than fap material.
Am I upset that Cyberpunk was delayed again? Yes, I was hoping to play it on my birthday. BUT I would rather have an awesome game without bugs than a shitty version of the game that MIGHT get patched later on.
I agree. I would rather wait for a crisp playable game. Why would you want to get a product that frustrates you. All you will do is go online and complain. I would if I paid good money for a crapy glitchy game.
OH the game is already finished, if you read that statement they are basically saying they are taking these extra 21 days to work on what they call the day 0 patch, which is a patch that usually runs on every modern game on the first day of release.
I'm a Republican, and my thoughts on the ACB story: So the Republicans could vote her in, in record time, yet we're still waiting on a second stimulus? *Hiyaaaaaa.....*

this country is fine. Covid fear will end after election. Just watch media stop talking about it by April of 2021. Death cases are down. Covid19 isn’t what media portrays it as. It really isnt much worse than the flu. Kills old people with underlying health conditions like most illness do. kids are safe. Healthy adults are safe. World keeps spinning. America’s seen worse and kept doing fine.
@@joecook1989 Hey man, idk if you knew this, but a pandemic is typically projected to run rampant for 18 months. It’s only been about 10 since the US started seeing affects. So, yeah, the impact will probably lessen by April, as expected. However, it will have been almost a year and a half at that point. And hundreds of thousands of deaths have occurred which wouldn’t have otherwise. To say it’s only effecting older people with preexisting conditions is just blatantly false. It’s simply untrue! They wouldn’t have died had they not gotten COVID-19, and that’s all we should be thinking about here. But if we must, my friend’s father (40’s) passed recently. Another friend’s husband (30’s). Reports of healthy children dying from this aren’t as uncommon as King T pretends they are. Some of my friends (20’s) have been hospitalized. Some haven’t, but such is the nature of this particular virus. So my thing is, why does the age thing even really matter here? Old people are expendable now? Their lives mean less than younger folks? It doesn’t matter if thousands of them die? I can’t believe I even have to say this, but PEOPLE ARE DYING, JOE. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE LITERALLY DYING. EVERY DAY, MORE PEOPLE DIE. THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR ANY HUMAN WITH A SOLID MORAL COMPASS TO BE MILDLY INCONVENIENCED FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND NOT DIMINISH HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF LIVES TO “IVE SEEN WORSE”! And here’s a bit of a reality check for you, hopefully. I got it in March and now have to keep a rescue inhaler with me. I no longer need to use it daily, but I do use it often. Prior to this virus, I had never had any upper respiratory issues in my entire life. Not even strep or bronchitis! I don’t smoke. I’m only 21! And now my lungs are permanently damaged. I’ve been coughing and wheezing for 8 months, Joe. On the flip side, I’ve gotten the flu 4 times in my life and do not have a single lasting symptom from any of those times. “A little worse than the flu” is a bit of an understatement here. Just because some people are fine, does that really mean we can just discount the hundreds of thousands of others who are experiencing horrible, lasting symptoms? Also, I don’t think you’re taking into account that we have trusted and proven treatments for the flu. This is new. We don’t have trusted and proven treatments for COVID-19, and that’s partly why it’s so much more dangerous than the flu. Aside from that, it’s more contagious! I feel like you should maybe do a little more research on this, honestly. I just don’t know what you’re getting at here. We shouldn’t take this seriously? Well the thing is, we haven’t taken it seriously since the beginning. I think it’d do you some good to check on some other countries out there. Look at how they handled the pandemic and where they are now, compared to us. I think you’d find that we’re actually the butt of a joke the universe is playing, at the expense of thousands of lives. And the rest of the world just keeps laughing. We did not handle this well, no matter how you want to spin it. If we had handled it better, we would be mourning a lot less losses.
Why is Aussie internet so bad? Don't you have towers / wires of your own? I'm in Canada right now for uni. It's basically the northern sister to Australia and the internet here isn't bad.
It is also dependent on post-launch support. Take BF4 vs BFV. Massive difference in lifespan, but one received major improvements and content additions. The other did not.
@Zwenk Wiel but also, you had 3-4 platforms to release on previously. But with 9 platforms to ensure proper functioning, it’s reasonable to expect delays. Sure one may argue they should have posted a later launch date, but there’s always unexpected issues that will pop up when developing ambitious titles.
@Zwenk Wiel It's also kinda hard to predict a worldwide pandemic starting a month before your games initial release date and having to shift to working from home. Imagine trying to share tweaks made to the game files over the internet.

@@anya7334 I'm not saying it is and I'm definitely not saying anyone is justified in losing their minds over a few bugs. I'm just saying that any even minor bugs it has will be much more heavily criticized than if it wasn't delayed

Yeah, the two party system simply isn't working. I don't see any major shifts in the way our government operates for a LONG time though. Assuming it changes at all. The biggest reason that people are angry about the Cyberpunk delay is because the day before the announcement, their Twitter was going around confirming that there wouldn't be anymore delays. Because of that, people booked days off work, changed their schedules, everything. I've even seen a tweet along the lines of: "@CyberpunkGame hi, before I book that day off for work tomorrow, can I have full confirmation that the game is going to come out that day?" With their Twitter replying with: "Full confirmation!" Keep in mind, that reply was sent about 14 hours before the delay announcement, which is just enough time for that Twitter user to book the prior release date off work. At this point, they're lying to people and wasting their time. Originally, I was planning on getting the game, but after how many times they've delayed it, plus, the lack of continuity and constant let-downs, I don't exactly want to support the developers anymore. Yes, I get that Covid has really messed things up, but you can't blame Covid for falsely reassuring people.
@@metalcake2288 I know this is an old comment at this point, but the devs didn't know about the delay either, lol. They found out through Twitter like the rest of us.

It is incredibly extra, at first is was nipples that were pornographic, now it's squeezing our breasts? Whats next, bending over? Gtfo, enough policing our bodies.
Sometimes I just want to bang my head against the wall after listening to the political issues. I know they are important, but they just bring me down.
The only things that effects you are their policies on taxes really. You want more money vote republican or do you want less money/no job vote Democrat. Like its a pretty simple concept who to vote for.

The argument at hand is can an organization that is founded by a Religious institution allowed to discriminate based on those beliefs. In particular, can Catholic Social Services refuse to place children with a homosexual couple. Honestly, since Catholic Social Services is only one organization among many, Id argue allowing them to act according to their religious beliefs does not create an undue burden on the system, as that homosexual couple is not being denied eligibility from being foster parents, just being denied access to that result through the Catholic Church. They would still be able to go through the local or state Social Services to become foster parents. If you want this to change, you can change the Laws which regulate the foster care system. To talk about the IG nudity thing.... In my opinion it’s similar to TikTok. They only allow what they seem attractive to be posted. There’s a lot of pages with full nudity and the only thing covering them up is stars or blur marks over their breast and vag just like 2 tik taks and a sugar packet. I happen to post some risqué photos for the type of work I’m in, and it gets taken down in seconds when others have full dong and hole pressed against the lens. They should add an age feature that allows user above the age of 18 to view and post things that are close to nudity. Not full nudity. But some kind of moment for adult freedom of expression. Social media is getting over ran by children that companies are scared to loose money from allowing the adults to be adults.
Cyberpunk 2077: I wouldn’t care if it got pushed back another year. I’d rather it be the masterpiece it’s been hyped to be, than released incomplete/not fully tested. The people complaining about the delay are the same people who would buy the incomplete game then complain it’s incomplete 🤪
The people complaining about the delay spent time and effort booking days off work or rearranging schedules because their Twitter account was confirming there wouldn't be any more delays the day before.

I am so glad you covered the IG nudity scandal. I had my IG account deleted with zero explanation other than "you violated our terms and services" when there was absolutely zero nudity. I photograph models but HEAVILY censor the content, yet IG rips shit down and deletes my profiles with impunity. I had my first profile deleted at 7.5k followers and this one at 5k followers. Any attempt at reaching out to them or having them review their decision was met with silence. I had zero idea why my stuff was suddenly demonized the way it was until I saw this video, so thank you. I love that you said they need to define their rules. But they don't. They don't tell you what the rules are so when artists like myself makes something they get to be biased and inconsistent and prejudiced and answer to no one for it. Okay no nudity. Got it. Blurred is okay? Okay but how much blur? What kind? How much pixel differentiation constitutes as an acceptable blur? It sounds neurotic and nitpicky but you need hard rules and specific guidelines in place and declared without vagueness otherwise you're literally going end up punishing the creators who make your platform worth using to begin with. In the end, why the fuck don't they just make an 18+ option so those of us who create things that are sexual in nature don't have to lose faith and boycott your service overall. They say it can't be done, but Twitter seems to be thriving. I just don't get it. Make money off of me. Make money off of my art. Just stop deleting my shit.
Truly, there's nothing I hate more than the stigmatization around sex or porn on social media. There's an age requirement for a reason. It should be the responsibility of the parent to ensure their child isn't consuming media above their age group. I truly think instagram should not have any rules against pornography or nudity whatsoever. If the body I was born in is inherently sexual, there is no line that can be drawn. All of itys okay or none of it's okay.
How i feel about game delays: Im from the Era where blizzard would say "We'll release it when its ready".. Even if that meant Starcraft 2 didnt end up being released until 12 years after Starcraft. I'm more than fine with delays if it means a superior product. Too many people have unfortunately become comfortable with broken games being shipped, just so you pay full price to convince them to possibly fix it later... possibly for more money... in increments as downloadable content.
bloodydove5718 People are just impatient now. I remember going to the store as a kid to pick up a new game the day it was supposed to release only to find out from the cashier that it was delayed. It sucked, but I moved on.
As someone who is plus size with huge breasts, I can speak from personal experience that our bodies get discriminated against more. This happening on social media doesn't surprise me but it's nice there's some change taking place. I only wish it would happen in the real world.
What I think is that Instagram is allowed to take anything off their platform that they want to, but if they're gonna take one breast photo off then they have to take every breast photo off.

@@marksmith3133 Huh?
I remember reading a comment years ago saying "no one remembers release date delays but everyone remembers bad launch days."
They have been working on this game since witcher 3 they aren't rushed but they have to live up to the expectations on the witcher 3 and don't want to send out buggy versions of their game.
A rephrase of 'a delayed game will eventually be good, but a game launched in a bad state will be bad forever'
@UH8meCuzIm RIGHT nope :)
One of the unfortunate traits we have as humans. We love to fixate on the negative and not even notice the positive. I am guilty of this too.

@Nickname I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean?
Sadly, however, rarely is the delayed game any good. It generally means it will release with untold bugs and will largely resemble a beta.
The people get their say twice once for the president who nominates the judge and again for the senators who confirm the judge to the Supreme Court.
in theory, the idea is that because they don't have to worry about re-election, they will make choices based on what they feel is correct rather than what will get them re-elected.
The "for life" is so that they can be truly independent. The majority party then can't kick a judge out because they don't like a justice. They can also quit if they choose.

this country is fine.

The biggest reason that people are angry about the Cyberpunk delay is because the day before the announcement, their Twitter was going around confirming that there wouldn't be anymore delays. Because of that, people booked days off work, changed their schedules, everything. I've even seen a tweet along the lines of:
"@CyberpunkGame hi, before I book that day off for work tomorrow, can I have full confirmation that the game is going to come out that day?"
With their Twitter replying with:
"Full confirmation!"
Keep in mind, that reply was sent about 14 hours before the delay announcement, which is just enough time for that Twitter user to book the prior release date off work. At this point, they're lying to people and wasting their time. Originally, I was planning on getting the game, but after how many times they've delayed it, plus, the lack of continuity and constant let-downs, I don't exactly want to support the developers anymore.

Thank you for the closed captions (:
What I think is that Instagram is allowed to take anything off their platform that they want to, but if they're gonna take one breast photo off then they have to take every breast photo off.
just ban all topless photos. End of story. and by all, i mean ALL, men included.
@@Jodah175 I’m just picturing this going to the extreme and people cropping out torsos so they’re just limbs and being cheeky about how now their pictures are safe for work
