Prismacolor Scholars are awesome. Yes they are more durable but still creamy. I have not had ANY issues with sharpening them. No breakage at all! Great for beginning colorists.

I just found Prismacolor Premier Pencils myself watching this channel. After buying my own set I am impressed with these pencils. I want more including their alcohol markers. Another medium I am in love with after buying water base markers that leave streaks.. Can't wait to learn how to use them properly. I don't have many sets to compare too But I think I found a brand I really like in Prismacolor Premiers.

Awesome video. Great info. My son bought me a small set of prisma premier pencils and I have been adding to it one at time but far from a full set. Love them. My granddaughter is also a fan so I got her a small set also.

Thanks so much for this review. I have 75 Primacolor Premier and I do not undestand why they do not do the other part, to complete them all. I have just gone to Amazon and here in Spain amd it cost 199,13 Euros the 150 pack, which I dare say it is really valuable !
I love Prismacolor! I use the Premier and the Col-erase. And do also love the colorless blender. Also the very best sharpener I've found is a weird sharpener called Muji Manual sharpener! Thank you for this video and what an awesome giveaway!

Oh I’m so glad I’ve found your channel I’ve been watching your tutorials back to back and I’ve learnt so much. My colouring was very ordinary before but after watching your tutorials and some practise, it’s so much better. Thank goodness for Jennifer’s Rule of blending thirds, it’s made such a difference!! I also didn’t realize that I’d been sharpening my pencils wrong for years, but now that I know how to do it properly,I get a much sharper tip and far less breakage! After watching this particular tutorial I ordered the Prismacolour Scholar pencils as well as the blending pencils from Amazon and I can’t wait for them to arrive. Thank you SO much for sharing your knowledge and tips, it’s much appreciated. 😊💐
Very interesting. I see the different ones in the store and on Amazon and wonder the difference between them. you two do such a nice job explaining things. I like the Prismacolor premier and blender and think I might try the Verithins. I am a substitute teacher and color with the kids when they have inside recess. thanks for the vid. PS I would love sketching with the Col-erase pencils and for that I would not want them to be vibrant..A nice change from a grey scale sketch but still not too intense on the color.. that is smart. I think that's a great product. And of course, I do love the regular premiers for the actual coloring of the artwork.
It would be wonderful if you offered a filled in swatch chart for those of who don’t have printers. (Had several, don’t know when I can get another one.)

The scholars are my absolute favourite pencil to colour with in colouring books. My number one, but closely followed by the Laurentien. Not my favourite pencil over all but it’s the set I grab to relax.
@@gabinat I almost have a fully collected set that I use sparingly and then I have a I’m allowed to use these extras set. I loved the Venus Canada ones, most of my “useable” ones are the use made ones and they are just different.

I just saw the Prismacolor Premier at Michaels for $199.00 ! I’m glad I got mine last year from Amazon for $74.00!
Michael's sells them at such a high price because they assume you're going to use a coupon and they still need to make some profit...
