ChicagoSirens Thanks! Yeah, a lot of people disagree but Definitely agree. Although I have to say I like Lodals more because I grew up with them every Friday.
TennisSanitationMan56 I meant one of the best in terms of automated trucks. I don’t believe anything surpasses the Lodal in terms of manual/semi-automated side loaders. Only con about the Lodal is really the FWD, and that it does get stuck in the snow and at the landfill.
The 7000 C-frame Durapack is better but the reach is shit in comparison. The Python is a beast but they don't run like this anymore. Too bad they discontinued the C-frame and replaced it with the Durapack Rapid Rail abomination.
I just realized how much better my truck sounds when standing outside from it haha, great video! Thanks for putting it together! Always look forward to it!
Man, what an awesome truck. Loved the smoke as he pulls away from each stop. Nice to see Colin in something other than the pendpack. I hope to meet him when I’m up there sometime! Another great video! Keep it up!
random kittycatlover Lol, that’s what MinnesotaGarbageKid and I were going to do tomorrow, and I filmed the rolling out new carts. Do you know what trucks they run?
Awesome! Cool to see this truck has the older style arm and grabbers. Two of our 2009 pythons had them but they changed them out to the newer style python arm system im sure years ago lol. Fast arm though. I think heil used to make these arms faster but now just stick to the standard 8 second cycle. How many Pythons do they have? Would love to see more lf their pythons!
Thanks! They have about 5-10 I want to say. Ace had almost all Heil back in the day, lots of Curve Shells on White chassis, some 310s with Formulas, and 2 Rapid Rials on Autocars. And for recycle they had curbsorts on low entry Autocar WXs (I think) and international 4700s with the body that the lake Havsana trucks had. Now it’s a few ACX PendPacs, A few ACX and 320 pythons, 3ish older style autoreaches on 320s, 520 and ACX ZRs are what they are buying now and one 7000 left on a WX. A few years ago they had a 310 Curve shell and 2 WXs that that just got sold/scraped. This summer I will try to get more of the pythons filmed before they leave probably within the next 8-10 years and I need to get some more footage of the 7000 which will probably be gone in a year or 2 if not sooner
Great video! I’ve always loved the Python, and while many may disagree, I think they’re one of the best side loaders built today.

ChicagoSirens True, Tennis had 3 Automated Lodals, one got sold and the other 2 don’t get used.
John Sidwell Yeah, the 7000 model was my Favorite because Tennis has lots of them but yeah the reach is horrible

mndsi Thanks! No problem! What was your other truck?
Man, what an awesome truck. Loved the smoke as he pulls away from each stop. Nice to see Colin in something other than the pendpack. I hope to meet him when I’m up there sometime! Another great video! Keep it up!
HunterDawg 89 Thanks! 100% agree the smoke is awesome. Haha yeah, he is a swing driver now so he isn’t always in 113. Yeah we should
Nice video man! I’m a big fan of these types of pythons.
Andrew Brysch Thanks!
Great work! This was really fun to watch with Collin behind the wheel! I loved the sound of the take offs and the smoke was cool.
Minnesota Garbage Kid Thanks! Yeah
You should film some eureka recycling down in Shoreview Minnesota
