A very impressive hack, especially with that unique boss, something rare to see in Metroid rom hacks.
Perhaps and this motivates someone to make a demake of Axiom Verge on the SNES.

I think this is cool to see considering just how different in vibes Axiom Verge 2 was to the first game.
The modding in this year is truly extraordinary.. Can modify all aspects of the Super Metroid game from its appearance to its music.. Cool 👍🎉🎉❤

Ive seen quite a lot of Super Metroid hacks and I think this is the first time Ive seen the boss actually changed. This is very impressive.
Im not particularly a fan of using Apocalypse as an area theme, but the remix is good
One of the best Metroid snes hack adding new stuff and bosses it gives it new feeling to a great game so mad respect to all who worked on this.
This is and the Turtles Streets of Rage game with all new enemy’s and bosses is so awesome for the mega drive / Genesis console
This is an impressive hack, way different than the standard recolor/remap ones.

This feels like a sneak peek of Axiom Verge coming to Android and iOS as you can play this on these platforms with an app emulator (Super Nintendo) and this ROM patch on the Super Metroid game as it would be very cool on Android if a PS4 emulator got released so that way you can download the Axiom Verge ROM to play on Android as it would be really cool if: Thomas Happ makes Axiom Verge come on mobile devices!

Axiom Verge mechanics would be really hard to recreate in ASM, stuff like remote drone, glitching or some of the enemies.

Everything feels... faster! The enemies and Samus have been sped up, and in Axiom Verge the gameplay IS faster than that of Super Metroid.

It's using Project Base. Hyper Metroid and many other great hacks are built off of this engine as well.

This doesn't seem right, in axiom verge, no weapon uses heath as ammo, not every kill gives health orbs, when health is full, no health should drop, even super metroid does this, why make missiles use health if everything you kill gives health, just make missiles infinite with no health lost.
This doesn't seem right that Samus is lost in Eribu either ^^
But yeah, romhackers makes questionable choices sometimes. Also, for some unknown reasons, video description fails to mention that hack is not for casuals players like that was stated in the hack description.
